How the US State Department Helped Jihad Come to Power in Bangladesh

Recently, at a protest arranged by a Jewish coalition protesting the biased journalism at CNN, I captured others who have the same complaint:

And then Madeline Brooks’ wonderfully detailed article arrived, to illuminate and clarify. Thank you, Madeline.

“Ironically, heartbreakingly, the original inhabitants of the land, invaded by conquering Muslims centuries ago, now live in abject fear….the Hindus, Buddhists and indigenous people are trapped in their own homeland…”

Will Bangladesh become another Afghanistan? So goes the fear of non-Muslim minorities – Hindus, Buddhists, Christians and animists – in Bangladesh as jihad advances in their country. It is not an unreasonable fear, given longstanding persecution and the recent overthrow of the prime minister who fought for secularism against Islamic forces. On August 5, 2024, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had to flee the country after weeks of protests that claimed lives on both sides. Sheikh Hasina was elected five times as head of her country, starting in 2009 and for the last time, in January 2024.

Since its establishment as an independent country, breaking away from Pakistan in a bloody revolution in 1971, Bangladesh has been struggling to find its basic policies. The issue is religion. Shall the country be Islamist like Pakistan or secular, granting the right for survival and equal rights to its minorities who, after all, have lived there long before the Islamic invasion into their homeland? Sheikh Hasina, herself a Muslim was the head of the Awami League Party which defined secularism as “Religion as per one’s own, but festivals common to all.” This sounds like it not only reflects the live and let live philosophies of the minorities but cheerfully looks to a good time for all. The now overthrown Awami League has been trying to keep a lid on Islamist strivings. Its opposition was the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, whose website states its founding principle to be “full faith and trust in Allah.”  The BNP is allied with the Jamaat-e-Islami party, the country’s largest Islamic group, whose constitution calls for an end to secular rule, a polite way of saying the country would be ruled only by strict Islam, just as we see in Afghanistan. Jamaat opposed the separation of Bangladesh from Pakistan, and has been continuing to undercut the secularist orientation by organizing strict Islamic groups in villages, even after it has been in and out of being banned.

Other Islamic groups go further. Hefazat e Islam demands capital punishment for “atheist bloggers.” Another fundamentalist group, Khelafat Majlish,  has put forth demands including that “no laws or policies are enacted [that] contradict the Quran and Sunnah” As an answer to anxieties about whether Bangladesh would become another “Afghanistan or Pakistan,” Islamic forces answered by taunting with chants of “We shall become Afghan, Bangla will be Taliban.” Pakistan has several Islamic parties while Afghanistan has only one, the Taliban, so they would go further. Another group, Hizb ut-Tahrir, banned by several other Muslim countries, broadcast its desire to establish an Islamic caliphate in Bangladesh.

So as we can see, the difference in intentions of the two parties is very clear and it would have made sense for the US to back Hasina’ Awami League, but they did not, for reasons we will see later. Charges by US critics and others were ostensibly that Sheikh Hasina’s party went way too far in its efforts to keep a lid on jihad, and had become anti-democratic in its squashing of dissent.

On August 1, 2024, just days before Hasina’s forced departure, she took an action against jihad and announced that the Islamist party Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing would be banned as militant groups, since she saw them as a major part of the student riots that had begun months earlier. This announcement just incited rage further, and the main target became the government’s job quota system which favored descendants of the men who fought in the 1971 War of Liberation from Pakistan by reserving 30% of its jobs for them. The job quotas led to nepotism in a time of widespread unemployment as the rapidly expanding country went through a sharp contraction.  According to Hasina’s son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, the Awami League was fighting to get rid of the quotas that a court had reinstated. However, even after the quota system had been dropped and replaced by a mostly merit based system, the protesters persisted, enraged by things that arose from their own demonstrations: the internet was slowed down or stopped, universities had been closed, over 9,000 people were arrested according to an activist’s report, and worst of all more than 300 of their fellows had been shot dead by the police. There are reports of police gunfire coming from helicopters that killed even young children near their homes, but whether this was accidental or not is not clear. Some police were hurt or killed too in the struggle.

When the protesters’ rage reached boiling proportions, the Prime Minister had to flee for her life in a helicopter with her sister to India. Her palace was torn into with zeal. Anything that could be picked up was stolen and paraded for the cameras, even, shamefully, two of her bras. Hasina, fiercely loyal to the memory of her father, Sheikh Mujibar Rahman, who had led the 1971 revolution, and then been assassinated, was said to have added fuel to the fire by taunting the protesters with a name for traitors, razakars, implying they were disloyal to the very founding of the country. She later denied this, saying her words were distorted by others; however there are reports that she tried to silence political dissent even before the recent protesters by calling her critics razakars. Ominously, she is now facing demands for extradition from India to be tried on 75 charges ranging from genocide to murder and abduction and she seems to be having trouble finding a country who will accept her, as India questions whether she should stay there. There are fears that she will be summarily killed if returned to Bangladesh.

Student protesters and other critics contend that Hasina’s party had a long history of more than 600 disappearances, extra judicial killings of political rivals and repression of dissent. She and 49 of her former ministers are accused by the country’s anti-corruption commissioner of siphoning off more than $150 billion to various countries throughout the world through such things as money laundering, overspending on government projects, and bribes.  As well, Hasina amended the Constitution in a way that is said to have prevented a peaceful transition of power. These charges may be true, but according to her, they were not the real reason the US wanted to end her regime,

What is not as well known yet to Americans, although the foreign press is ablaze with it, is suspicion that the US arranged for a coup against Hasina. Hasina claims that the US wanted to buy Saint Martin’s island, a small area in the Bay of Bengal, for security reasons. The reasoning goes that an airbase there could be used to monitor and control Chinese economic and military activities in the area. When Hasina refused to sell or lease it, she states that she was told her next election could be made easier for her (with the implication that it could also be made worse.) She also alleged that the US wanted to take more territory from her country.

After she left she explained, “I resigned so that I did not have to see the procession of dead bodies. They wanted to come to power over the dead bodies of students but I did not allow it… I could have remained in power if I had surrendered the sovereignty of Saint Martin’s island and allowed America to hold sway over the Bay of Bengal…If I had remained in the country, more lives would have been lost, more resources would have been destroyed. ..Like East Timor … they will carve out a Christian country taking parts of Bangladesh [Chattogram] and Myanmar with a base in the Bay of Bengal.”

The US also wanted independent minded Hasina to join the Indo Pacific Treaty and steer clear of BRIC (an economic alliance of Brazil, Russia, India, and China), which would have kept her out of China’s influence, but she resisted, and instead took loans from China to develop her country. In what looks like punishment, the US put visa restrictions on members of her party in September, 2023. They frequently criticized her party and her for being insufficiently “democratic,” while showing favor to Pakistan which is obviously not democratic, as a Muslim dominated country, the same one that allowed Osama bin Laden to stay there. Dhaka was also kept out of one of Biden’s Summits for Democracy. One of the Awami League members alleged that favor was shown to the rival BNP that gave a home to Jamaat and other fundamentalists. In April, 2024 Hasina told her Parliament that the US was putting pressure on her to take initiatives against China, and then came the student riots. Hasina’s perception that the US was working on a regime change was shared earlier by a Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, who in December, 2023, said that the US was planning a “chaotic regime change” in Bangladesh. More specifically, Ms. Zakharova claimed that the US ambassador to Bangladesh, Peter Haas, and a high-ranking BNP representative had been discussing plans to organize mass anti-government protests in the country. This would be a color revolution, which the US flatly denies. However, it looks to some that the woman who was once a model of female empowerment became unfairly regarded as a despot, a disposable female.

US antipathy to an independent Bangladesh is not new. During the Cold War, the US State Department was hyper focused on competing with the USSR and containing it. Countries that opposed the USSR became allies, while neutral countries were seen as potential threats. Pakistan allied with the US and other Western countries. Bangladesh, however, did not become a country until 1971, and it had to split from Pakistan to do so. Pakistan’s military continued to be a problem for Bangladesh, and is believed by Indian journalist Palki Sharma to be a contributor to Bangladesh’s problems, along with the US working against the Awami League. Hasina’s son cites the manipulation of social media as an incitement to bring down his mother’s reign, and says that protesters were given guns to attack the police. In a country where ownership of fire arms is tightly regulated, Joy questions who gave them guns and claims that his mother’s regime tried to meet all the protesters’ demands but that constant inciting egged them on.

At this point, it might be hard to say with certainty that the US engineered this blow to the head of a state. But there are more indications it may have happened. An economist who was deeply tied to the Democratic Party in the US was called in to be the interim head of the country. He is Muhammed Yunus, an economist known for starting the Grameen bank, making loans to very poor people. The bank’s interest rate is so high, 15-18 %, that it has led to despair and even suicide among many of the bank’s recipients. Numerous lawsuits have been filed against Yunus for other business interests, and he was sentenced to six months in prison for labor law violations connected with a phone company he ran. Yunus declares that the charges were trumped up, designed to stop him from starting a political party rivaling Hasina’s. She was his one-time friend, who went on to call him a “blood sucker” for exploiting the poor. Now there is bad blood between Yunus and Hasina. Nevertheless, he was very popular with the West and was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.

Yunus’ new cabinet appears to be all Muslim, with the following possible add-on exceptionsthe portfolios of the remaining three members – psychiatrist Bidhan Ranjan Roy from the minority Hindu community, former diplomat Supradip Chakma from the Indigenous Chakma community, based in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, and independence fighter Faruk-e-Azam. Yunus apparently had so little regard for these “also mentioned” people that they themselves were not even asked or notified about being in the cabinet beforehand. They learned about their new appointments from the media, according to a Hindu Bangladeshi source, and they call it mere window dressing.

Yunus did give scant encouragement to persecuted Hindus by making a ceremonial visit to a temple, along with a flood of smiling luminaries, who look like they are at a party. But his alliances with Islamist groups create confusion and fear for those who are left out. As the interim head of Bangladesh, Yunus promptly lifted the ban on the Islamist Jamaat-e-Islami party that had been imposed by Hasina just a month ago. Jammat e Islami is back to declaring that “peace will not return until the religion of Allah is established.”  Yunus’ also released from prison an Al-Qaeda linked terror group Chief , Jashimuddin Rahmani. And he met with Mamunul Haque, a leader of the extremist group Hefazat-e-Islam. Moving quickly to secure his interim government, Yunus had a state meeting on September 2 with heads of seven Islamic parties. Representatives of the opposition party and minorities were left out. They have reason to be terrified.

Mobs are rampaging against Awami League members and politicians; some are killed, others are in hiding. The Bangladeshi media completely ignores this; reports come out only on social media, and are often taken down quickly. Hindus are especially targeted for attacks, even though they had political problems with Hasina too. She did not speak up for them when they were attacked and she ignored their attempts to reclaim confiscated property and set up a national minority commission to protect religious minorities. Hindus are asking politely for so very little. But Hasina denied these simple requests for justice because she apparently wavered between appeasing minorities and not stirring up Islamist anger. So much for placating Muslims. It looks like Hasina both caved to Islamists and bullied them. Would there have been a better way to rule? Is it even possible for a secular government to exist side by side with an Islamist one that is determined to obliterate it? These are questions other counties must face as they naively allow themselves to be dominated by Islam.

Will Bangladesh become another Afghanistan? This is what some Hindus and other Bangladeshi minorities fear. It is not an unreasonable fear, given the free hand given now to Islamists. Hindus say they are being “slaughtered.”  For many of their attackers, the hate is strictly about religion, not politics since some of their Hindu victims once participated with them in the student protests. Hindus are beaten, raped, murdered. Their houses, businesses, temples are set on fire. Professors are humiliated by their students and forced to stay out of their classrooms. This is happening by the hundreds. Calls to the police or military for assistance are not answered because the police are not functioning. There is no law and order. At least 205 attacks have been noted in 52 districts, though the number is probably much higher but without a functioning police department it is hard to register reports. This is called the bloodiest period in the country’s history since its 1971 war of independence. Hindus call out for help but the mainstream media in Bangladesh is alarmingly silent on this. Reports are coming out mainly through social media, many of which are quickly removed from Facebook and YouTube.

Ironically, heartbreakingly, the original inhabitants of the land, invaded by conquering Muslims centuries ago, now live in abject fear. Hindus have been killed and victimized since the inception of Bangladesh. Their numbers have plunged from 33% as measured in 1901 to only 7% today. Now the Hindus, Buddhists and indigenous people are trapped in their own homeland, unable to flee because they are denied entry at India’s border.

Summing up, the US in its drive to pursue a possibly out dated Russian policy of containment, and a similar current Chinese policy, has thrown secularism in Bangladesh under the bus. This is the opposite of democracy and has exposed Hindus and other minorities to possible extinction. Such a heartless policy, which is ultimately foolish for the US too, given the mandate of Islamic jihadists to conquer the world, must be changed. If Bangladesh does become an Afghanistan in South East Asia, America’s security interests will be severely threatened.

You Tube Flags Tommy Robinson, Pamela Geller 2012 videos as HATE Speech … in 2019!

UPDATE November 2019: The banning continues. Tommy Robinson video BANNED by YOU TUBE in 2018 and VIMEO in 2019. As hateful. Offensive. Against their standards, so we will post it here …. you can see for yourselves – scroll down.

++ September 11, 2012, SEVEN YEARS ago, the SION World Congress For Freedom met to” Stop Islamization of Nations”.

A video of Tommy Robinson and Pamela Geller from that conference has now been flagged as offensive by You Tube. In 2019 it has been flagged and restricted as “hate speech”. WHAT took them so long!

9_Truth_Bumper_Web_Size2
YOU TUBE: “Certain features have been disabled for this video. In response to user reports, we have disabled some features, such as comments, sharing, and suggested videos, because this video contains content that may be inappropriate or offensive to some audiences.

The “scary” warning (2 screen shots):

Two email notices came to me back-to-back on April 26. Then another a few days later. (Just in case I missed the warnings)

The “offending video” has Pamela Geller introducing Tommy Robinson [formerly of the English Defence League (EDL)]. Listen to Pamela. Listen to Tommy. WHERE in the video do they preach HATE or VIOLENCE? Yet, this VIDEO was flagged by You Tube as “offensive to some”. (video can now also be found on Vimeo)

https://vimeo.com/332886972

Despite the care with which he spoke, Tommy continues to be harassed and arrested on trumped up charges. In the U.K. he is denied basic freedoms based on lies and propaganda; treated in a manner that no citizen of the free west should suffer by his own government.

Next VIDEO: Opening comments from  Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer (at 3:48) established WHY this conference was necessary, 11 years after the murders on 911. Islamization vs the Civilized Man grown worse. It was war against the Civilized Man.  (It still is.) No HATE was spoken here.

AFDI (American Freedom Defense Initiative) and SION (Stop Islamization of Nations) stressed how important these freedoms are:

” …  freedom of speech – as opposed to Islamic prohibitions of “blasphemy” and “slander,” which are used effectively to quash honest discussion of jihad and Islamic supremacism;

…. freedom of conscience – as opposed to the Islamic death penalty for apostasy;

…. equality of rights of all people before the law – as opposed to Sharia’s institutionalized discrimination against women and non-Muslims … ”

Important then. Important NOW.

3rd VIDEO – Tommy’s  cousin Kevin Carroll previously of the English Defence League (EDL) and British Freedom Party candidate for Police Commissioner was also introduced by Pamela Geller. All spoke eloquently and from the heart.

Seven years later, across the United States and the U.K. the situation has grown more threatening towards the civilized man, warnings ignored by too many in the West.

Look at the foolishness that NYC preaches to passersby every day: DON’T BE AFRAID of ANYONE.

Stealth Jihad. It’s real. It’s here. But, THEY ARE AFRAID of GELLER. SPENCER and ROBINSON. Not the sharia war machine. Sharia violence and intimidation go unchallenged. Why is You Tube afraid of Tommy Robinson?

Their focus should be on the deaths, threats, fear and harassment perpetrated by Islamists against the “infidels” and aided by media and governments who bow to Sharia.

Read Tommy’s book (Enemy of the State). Listen to him. Demonized. Imprisoned. His family terrorized for his daring to speak truths about Sharia and Islam. He speaks the truth that has been challenged, smeared and smothered by You Tube.

2019: And now, as Tommy Robinson announced his candidacy for the European Parliament — the Left flew predictably into apoplectic rage.

How many of those House members, one wonders, are so ignorant of Tommy Robinson’s actual views, which he has expressed in hours and hours of interviews that can be readily viewed online, that they actually believe him to be xenophobic, homophobic, and racist? How many, by contrast, are fully aware that these charges are absolute lies but are willing and eager to spread them as part of the effort by both the Tory and Labour establishment to stifle honest criticism of Islam? Then there is the most important question of all: how long will the British electorate continue to return these pusillanimous snobs to office? If Tommy can actually get himself elected to the European Parliament, it will be a real sign that the Westminster elite’s days are numbers. (Front Page Mag)

Remembering , as we watch the demise of Europe, that the good ol’ U S of A may not be far behind but for the courage of our warriors like Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer. TRUTH is a terrible thing to waste. We must put it to good use.

UPDATE May 14, 2019:  From Pamela Geller, the outrageous treatment of Tommy Robinson continues : “A High Court judges ruled today that Tommy Robinson will face retrial. Tommy Robinson’s crime? Reporting on a Muslim child rape/trafficking gang trial. Thousands of supporters booed and chanted “shame on you” after the decision High Court ruling was announced. The UK clownocracy is making a free speech martyr out of Robinson.”

“Building Bridges” NYC Muslim Day Parade 2017

The ANNUAL Muslim Day Parade, September 24, 2017. With CAIR and Rabbi Marc Schneier as Honorary Grand Marshal, the theme this year was “Building Bridges”: a message of UNITY.

The New JDL said, “Since CAIR will use the parade as an opportunity to recruit and promote their false agenda, exposing CAIR should be everyone’s mission.”    [see AFDI subway ad from 2014]

In 2010, Nihad Awad Exec Dir and Founder of  Council on American-Islamic Relations was a Grand Marshal. (Hamas-loving, Nihad, is second from right.)

And now,for the first time in the parade’s history (in 2017) a Jewish leader will be honored: Rabbi Marc Schneier will serve as the honorary grand marshal.”

Who is this bridge-building rabbi?

“Rabbi Marc Schneier , the philandering spiritual leader was booted from the Rabbinical Council of America two years ago after dumping wife No. 4 so he could marry wife No. 5. He is now married to wife No. 6.  …. one congregant told The Post last year, “It’s like, ‘Marc cheated on his wife again — what’s new?’ It became a running joke: the annual Marc Schneier wedding.”

This desperate attempt to jump-start the dwindling Muslim Day Parade, with a philandering rabbi and terror-loving CAIR, came to naught. It remains a fragmented event … yearning to “build bridges” to no where.

After 32 years, not even the Muslim community is motivated to show up.

I heard more than one reporter/photographer comment on the very THIN turnout this year .

They had expected a larger crowd due to claims of Trump-Islamophobia, but that was NOT the case.

As usual, the parade started with tarps laid out on Madison Avenue for the noon-day Dhuhr prayer.

“All Muslims must have to support this noble cause. We must have to come out, stay united and show our strength minimum at this platform which called a Muslim Day Parade.”

“It’s not me it’s not you. It’s US brothers & Sisters. It’s all of US and all about US.  Building Bridges.”

“As salamo Alikum brothers & Sisters. Come with your entire family. Remember together we strong and unbreakable strength divided we fall. Show your strength. Send the message to entire world thru your unity. God bless you all. Ameen.”

10 years I’ve observed this annual event. And now, with dwindling stats perhaps it begs for a look-back …. before I walk away.

The PRAYERS

allahu akbar – takbir takbir

“Friends, try as much as possible to participate. Many reasons why it is crucially important to take part.”

IMG_9165

Typos aside, as I re-read their mission statement from Imam Shmasi Ali, I noticed near the end, an allusion to a ‘lack of interest’ in the parade.

” 1)This is new yorker. Muslims are an integral part of this great city.

2) This is the city of bridges. With our non Muslim friends we continue building those bridges as our theme says it.

3. We must response to the current challenges (hate, racism, Islamophobia, anti Semitism, xenophobia) by action.

4. This parade shows brotherhood/sisterhood, both on communal and human level.

5. More importantly, this parade is dedicated in solidarity with Rohingya people. Are you a part of that one body?

6. Either you believe in the parade, or not (as it the case to some), I am sure you’re all believers in faith unity (wihdah imaniyah) and human family (usrah insaniyah).

God bless you all. Ameen. Regards, Imam Shamsi , Shabir Gull & Sheikh Tauqeer ul haq.”

Part 2

The NEW JDL  peacefully protested the parade and its organizers. “No Bridges With Terrorists” NO CAIR !

How do you build bridges when one of your sponsors works with the Muslim Brotherhood and finances Hamas?

The organizers claim the parade will address anti-Semitism. Really? With CAIR on-board the parade supports attacks against Jews in Israel.

Predictably, the ‘progressive’ Jewish groups were there lending support to CAIR and terrorism. (Capos.)

The Turk-undertaker (Erhan Yildirim), also a community co-ordinator for the NYPD, gave a hard-stare to the JDL signs.

The Muslim Day Parade legitimizes CAIR as a positive advocacy group, which we know they aren’t, and the idea that Islam means peace.

After the prayers, I decided to skip the walk down Madison Ave. But the New JDL went the whole distance. This was their report.

“Yes, we walked with them, however we started to feel less love the closer we got to the staging area. (25th St and Madison Ave) One “lady” insisted on calling us “Hitler’s children”.

“On the flip side, a very nice black guy, who was a medic assigned to the parade, gave us ice packs and a male participant from the parade shook James’ hand. When we got to the speakers’ area, the love was gone.”

 The stage in 2015

“One rather angry “lady” took our pic and then went to parade “security”. A large black dude who told us since CAIR is part of the event, we can’t stand there with the signs. He told us if we didn’t leave he would get the police”

“We told him very nicely fine, get the police. If the police ask us to leave, then we will go. His final attempt at having us removed, he went to a couple of large police officers in riot gear and told them about the “bad Jews”. (the saga ends)

The speeches were boring as all hell. Most of the speakers could not be understood. They should have spoke in their native languages. Carolyn Maloney spoke. I understood her. The rabbi (Mark Schneier) … the rabbi spoke liberal gibberish.”

The rabbi speaking to www.itvusa.tv Global Dawah Television : “Call to Peace, Save Humanity . Our primary objective is to propagate Islam and it’s true nature of love and care for the humanity.

The NEW JDL continues, “They spoke of love for the U.S. but then spoke of standing with Kapernick & other football players.  They spoke of standing with the president but then condemned DACA and his policies towards immigrants. One speaker praised Sarsour a few times.” (Note Sarsour and Schneier at “I am a Muslim, too” – Times Square 2017)

“Oh yes, there were three floats. THREE . We couldn’t figure out why there was a Turkish flag and two others (not sure where they were from) on the Temple Mount float. They called it Al Aqsa. Tried to inform them otherwise but they wouldn’t listen.”

Floats in 2011- they are the same every year

2010

2010

“We tried to decide which float was the best. It was very challenging because there was such a variety. (snark intended)

One more thing, no Muslim Day Parade would be complete without some hard core “I love Jesus” people coming over. One of them danced some sort of jig. Now their t shirts were “inflammatory”. On it was – Muslims bad, Homosexuals bad, etc. (I’m paraphrasing.) No one said anything to them. Only the bad Jews/JDL.

This had to have been the most boring parade I have ever been to. Good grief. We decided we were probably the most entertaining people there.

On a good note; we brought awareness about CAIR. Many people never heard of CAIR. Now they have. End the silence! Anti-Semites have no place on our streets!”

IN CONCLUSION: Part 3

Supported by CAIR and the very LEFT Jewish BDSers, these elements did not make the bridge inviting nor strong. Obviously. And it is not the first time that terrorism made it’s presence known within the ranks of the Muslim Day Parade.

In 2013 – the militant flags marched down Madison.

2013 – The Muslim Brotherhood Black Hand salute.

2014, plastic guns and virgins.

Plastic guns. Jailed virgins. What were they thinking?

Women hung. The scaffold. The noose.  These were the parade ” floats” in 2014.

In 2017, the creeping jihad was still at work. As the Indonesian/Indian Muslims, historical victims of the Muslim invasions, marched in praise of their  conqueror. Islam forced upon their countries and yet, they do not, cannot change. Living the lie that Islam can live in peace with America (and perhaps the world).

This year the signs of worldly discord exposed were the HINDUS “anti-Islam” Myanmar uprising. Who is the victim? Who is the aggressor?

“The media and the international elites are framing the jihad in Burma as another “Muslims are victims” story. But it is not. It is another Islamic supremacist holy war to kill and conquer — more of what we are seeing in the Philippines, Nigeria, Kenya, Israel, Congo, Thailand, Chechnya, etc. etc. “Rohingyas threat to national security, they have link with Jihad.” [Pamela Geller]

Is this the Crusades. Andalusia. Taking back their countries from centuries of Muslim horror. Perhaps Myanmar has had ENOUGH.

An addendum:

And then, I remembered my NYC niqab and hijabs photo essays from 2012, more evidence of creeping Islam- CAIR- ISNA- ICNA – the Linda Sarsours- Muslim Brotherhoods, Muslim Student Assoc., slowly but surely bringing the 7th century to the public square – making it the ‘norm’.

Are the second- third generations  of Muslims assimilating? Or not. Since I found the 7th Century walking around Times Square. I wondered. It was unsettling.

“We Will Not Be Banned: The Broken Promise of Equal Justice” Hosted by CAIR-New York

July 4, 2017 – NOON- Fifth Floor Atrium-  #TakeTrumpTower

“We Will Not Be Banned: The broken promise of equal justice” Hosted by CAIR-New York

“CAIR is America’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. Its mission is to protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.”

Speakers and partners included NY Day of Remembrance Committee, Jewish social justice contingent (Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, Jews Say No!, Jewish Voice for Peace) NY Civil Liberties Union, LatinoJustice, and T’ruah.

On July 4th, 2017 (Noon)  CAIR-NY sponsored a presser; a Muslim-led teach-in and rally in the Fifth Floor Atrium- a public space – in what they described as the “hideous” Trump Tower. (though later they chanted “Whose tower, OUR Tower”)

They claim, the purpose of the presser was to highlight how the United States has repeatedly broken her founding promises and (they claim) targeted groups on the basis of race, religion, or ideology.

The speakers insisted their communities have historically been targeted – from the U.S.’s internment of Americans of Japanese descent, to U.S.’s treatment of Puerto Rico, to President Trump’s Muslim Ban. So, CAIR-NY and their (social justice) partners used this day to reaffirm their commitment to that most “basic American tenet, “ALL are created equal“.

America’s 241st Independence Day, was marred by these protestors who claimed that President Trump stands in a long line of American leaders who sought political power by marginalizing and demonizing minority groups.

AS NOON approached, I arrived – looking for protestors.

11:55 I see barricades but no protestors; just empty pens. Odd. Then I saw ONE – no two – women in front of the doors to the tower.

That, too, was odd; verboten, actually, since a previous Trump Tower protest (on Aug 31, 2016) that BLOCKED entry to the Tower created more crowd control at the entrance.

Guess things have relaxed with time. And THEN I remembered, there is a Fifth Floor Public Space in the Tower.

” … part of an agreement Trump made in the 1970s […] an agreement in which a developer receives special permissions from the city in exchange for the inclusion … of spaces open to the general public.

The Lefties have protested there previously, testing the “public space right-to-assemble.”  SO, once I actually READ the sign the women were holding,   DIRECTIONS to the Fifth Floor Presser, I headed inside.

Went through security, bags, camera screened. Rode the elevator to the Fifth Floor with the Fox5 cameraman AND the very friendly, Albert Fox Cahn, CAIR–NY’s Legal Director! Then,  VOILA – the atrium …

The protestors have gathered here for CAIR’s Independence Day Presser.

Familiar faces, too, like Donna Nevel (Jewish Voice For Peace).

Labor Union Rabbi Michael Feinberg (Interfaith Worker Justice) .

Soon, Nevel and Feinberg put out warnings on ME to CAIR’s Mr. Albert Cahn, who seemed to regret his cheery greeting in the elevator. NERVOUS I guess, cause I –  the ENEMY- was in his – CAIR’s – very sacred – PUBLIC – space.

Now, he asked me who was I with. What media. And another person wanted to know if I was a volunteer. Really? Come on, guys, first thing I signed-in as media. ALL are WELCOME here, right?

All proceeded normally, so it seemed, with cameras in place; waiting for the speakers. (2 pictures David Moriya )

Video: Then the MC made his welcoming speech. All was calm.

However, as soon as the first refugee speaker (Poor William) began (all would be refugee/emigres sharing their stories) the JDL counter-protest began, too.

Turning ALL of their Alinsky-tactics back at them, the JDL caused palpitations amongst the Lefties who “discreetly” scrambled with their signs and banners to cover up the very mobile  JDL flag and a Blue Line Flag.

The first actual speaker was “Poor William from Iran”. He spoke calmly and succinctly about why he fled Iran (he’s Jewish) and his uncertain status in the U.S.  While  in the back ground, the JDL flag was very busy.

VIDEO – William from Iran

The Blue Line Flag stayed put in one corner, not easy to see, but that did not deter the Lefties. They seemed MORE upset by this flag. (So much for grateful patriotism.) Of of course – President TRUMP.

I stayed. Covered all the speakers. And SO DID THE JDL. They stayed, too. Heard later that the CAIR hosts asked the police to remove the “INTERLOPERS”. But, this was met with a  firm, NO. Public Space. (Right Back atcha, CAIR!) Which then accounts for the nice little speech the MC made mid-presser.

“Let’s keep our eyes up here- at the podium. Ignore the  protestors. They have a right to be here. This is America. but, let’s focus on why we are here.”

Leaving the atrium, I was surprised to see educator, Debbie Almontaser.

Almontaser – of the infamous Khalil Gibran Public School Madrassa and Intifada NYC T-shirt. (Picture/link 2007)

Currently, Dr. Almontaser sits on Public Advocate Tish JamesJewish, Muslim, and Sikh Task Force to Combat Hate. Almontaser’s first step when leading a session she creates a community agreement about how to interact during the session. For example:

Approach others with respect
Withhold judgment
Don’t make identity-based assumptions
“Listen to learn”; use “generous listening”
Accept differences
Be aware of privilege and intersectionality
Assume good intentions
Don’t take it personally if someone says you’ve said something offensive

Debbie (Almontaser) was having fun sharing some very animated selfies.

The Green Hat fake legal team – standing at the door – looking lost  next to real police

And Patriots who had been in the back were now at the exit, continuing to speak their minds in SUPPORT of Pres. Trump.

As the CAIR Lefties tried to leave – smug with success – they had to walk through the WE WON, YOU LOST Patriots! Again.  (fun.)

These malcontents who masquerade as patriots, these traitors, who have snookered people like Poor William from Iran; conning them into working with organizations like CAIR (organizations that are committed to deconstructing our government,  America) They do not intend to fade away.

But, WE have met their challenge.

We will not be Silent. We TOO have NOT forgotten. WE WON. YOU LOST.

BUT- all was not over.  As I walked to the subway, about two dozen protesters marched passed me to to Tower’s entrance on Fifth Avenue, yelling anti-fascist chants.

Perhaps  now,  THIS was :

…. til NEXT TIME….

In their own words: Sarsour and Tish James – Treason or Patriotism?

July 2, 2017. July 4, Independence Day is just days away. SO, I decided to transcribe Letitia (James) and Linda (Sarsour), to throw some light on their rabble rousing  accusations. BOTH claiming to be Proud Americans. Patriots who are RECLAIMING  America. Saving our Constitution…. from those hateful, racist Republicans. Are you buying what they are selling? Maybe not, but sadly, there are buyers.

These two women, one elected to office and the other aspiring to do likewise, speak for the Progs. – not the average Americans. The Soc/Commie Bernie Sanders Left who masquerade as patriots and (of course) the MSM,  the press LOVES them. So, too, does the next Gen. Primed to resist, for the revolution.

Danger lurks in the hearts of the Millennial/Alphabet Gens that they court. Fed a steady diet of lies. propaganda. fake news. fake history . They respond passionately with cheers. smiles and fist pumping.  ready for CHANGE as they take to the streets.

I witness the same scenarios over and over nurtured at protest after protest by their Comrades-in-Arms: Insurrection. Treason.  Fed to the masses  through our media, our entertainment AND our schools. Better Red than Dead? NOT!

First up, the words of  NYC Public Advocate, Letitia James . Then Linda Sarsour, the agitators this day at the Emergency Town Hall.

Letitia A. “Tish” James is an American lawyer, activist, and politician in the Democratic Party. She is the current and fourth New York City Public Advocate and first African American woman to hold citywide office. … Howard University School of Law. … admitted to practice law in New York state in 1989. James is the first member of the Working Families Party to win office in New York State and the first third-party member to be elected to the NYC Council since 1977.

Jan 25, 2017 : Washington Sq – Flash back quotes

Tish James : ” If you honor the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, then you have an obligation. Whenever you see a government that is lawless, you’ve got an obligation  and a duty to RESIST. RESIST. RESIST.

We’ve got an obligation and a duty to fight back… to protect the marginalized community and vulnerable community … we’ve got to protect those who they are coming after.

We’ve got to stand with them. Rise them. And let them know that THIS is the America that we love and we’ll FIGHT for it.

We are a city made great by the blood, sweat and tears of immigrants and refugees. And we will not close our borders. We will not close our shores [….] ( NYC) is an immigrant town and a sanctuary city and we will protect that right.

And so we’ve gotta stand up to the Federal Government. We’ve gotta stand up to bullies. We’ve gotta stand up to an administration that is “too male, too pale and too stale”.

We will not be silent in the face of this oppression, in the face of this discrimination; in the face of HATE. We will not normalize hate.

This is MY country and I will DEFEND the rights of immigrants and refugees. Mr. President, you and your Executive Orders, you have turned back progress for decades.  That puts you on notice, we will resist and we will ultimately see you in court.

I say to Donald Trump, you are NOT my President. I will resist you and stand up to you and I know there is an ARMY out there that will join me.

I need my young people to organize and organize and organize. It is up to you, to get out in the streets, to protect your colleagues, to protect your students, your neighbor and to PROTECT your COUNTRY.” [END]

NEXT June 29, 2017 – recent quotes Letitia James – always like she was speaking to the Comintern.

“Say it Loud Say it Clear Immigrants are welcome here. Refugees are welcome here . Grandparents are welcome here . Your entire family is welcome here.

(At) JFK airport to greet immigrants who are only seeking freedom and opportunity, we can not grow tired (or weary) now. We cannot cower now. WE cannot be fearful now.

We gotta rise up and resist with every fiber of our being […] because we are in a CONSTITUTIONAL crisis. We are at WAR with ourselves. This is not America. Our Values.

On this Independence Weekend let us rise up and DEFEND the Constitution. No Wall with separate us. No Ban will stop us.

[snip]

Make sure individuals will feel welcome here. Comfort here. We will continue to embrace them.

We will continue to challenge this UN-Constitutional Ban by an illegitimate President [… ] because THIS is Democracy and THIS is what makes America great: ALL of us HERE together. (CHEERS)

I know these are very VERY troubling times. But we cannot grow weary. We cannot be afraid. Understand, we are all in this together. When they come after one group their going to come after ALL of us. So we must ALL stand together.

Say it loud say it clear that immigrants and REFUGEES are welcome here. They’re part of the HUMAN family.

This is nothing but a MUSLIM Ban. A Muslim BAN. So we need to say that MUSLIMS are Americans too and they need to be treated with respect. They need to know that the law covers them as well.

So I stand with you today. I hope to see you at the airport. As we raise our voices. As we continue to RESIST this administration [… ] and all that we stand for and all that we value.

And on the 4th – instead of going to a B-B-Q go to JFK. Instead of fireworks.Instead of taking a day off, sitting by the beach/lying in the sun: Go to JFK!  Let everyone know that we stand for something. That the Millennials – Gen  C ,  they believe in others. That it’s not about themselves. All will work together to make this a more perfect society.

What we must do together, stand up and defend America and its values. DEFEAT Islamophobia and all those who HATE people who are different. Diversity is our strength. We gotta celebrate that. Thank you for recognizing that ALL of us are Americans.

I’m a Muslim tonight. I’m Gay tonight. I’m Latino tonight.  I’m Black tonight. We are all one. No distinction. We are all one.

Let us rise up together. Let us stand together.”(CHEERS) [END]

Letitia was followed by the keynote advocate for insurrection, Linda Sarsour.

Sarsour, in her resignation letter from her position as executive director of the Brooklyn-based Arab American Association of New York.

“We are in a critical moment as a country and I feel compelled to focus my energy on the national level and building the capacity of the progressive movement, so it is with a heavy heart that I announce that I will be leaving my post as the executive director of the Arab American Association of New York.”

Linda Sarsour was born in Brooklyn, New York[2] and is the oldest of seven children born to a pair of “Palestinian” immigrants.

Linda Sarsour quotes from Union Square -June 29th, 2017

“I feel like I’m having the same conversation like – every week. I came here to say what I say to New Yorkers, and in any platform that I have (had?)  before the elections, THIS is NOT normal.

Remind yourselves that you live in a country with a President and an administration that is NOT normal.

This ban is a Muslim refugee ban. No other way to describe it.

As a country that passed marriage equality (sends a message) nobody gets to decide who our families are.  We get to say who our family is and what constitutes a bonafied relationship. We have people whose grandparents and aunts and uncles are their primary guardians.

When we allow the federal government to tell us who our family members are, we undermine the decades of work that people  have done in this country,
for us to define our families and what makes up the people that we love. (applause- cheers)

This ban impacts most directly the people who need us most – people who need critical medical care – who can die if they don’t come to this country and have access to the type of health care services we have.

This is a ban  that keeps out the refugees – the very people – impacted by war and conflict that WE are instigating and fueling with our tax payer dollars and WE tell them they can’t come find refuge in our country.

We should be ashamed that there are people living in refugee camps – victims of terrorism and violence.  And we are telling them that they do not belong here and can’t come into our country.  I say we have to stay loud and outraged every single day.

I am fueled my perpetual outrage at this administration.

Sisters and brothers, our country has done horrific things to many communities BEFORE Muslims.  We have a history of doing unthinkable things to communities … a precedent that our nation has set forth  for different elements of our society. I want you to join me – to be part of the NEVER AGAIN generation. I will not allow horrific things to happen to any community on my watch or on your watch.

So, there was NO partial victory. There was NO limitation to this ban. There was just a rejuvenation of what this administration tried to do from Muslim Ban 1, Muslim Ban 2.0 and now we’re at the Supreme Court.

AND for those who know the history of the Supreme Court, THEY DON’T ALWAYS DO THE RIGHT THING.

If we have any folks resigning from the Supreme Court anytime soon – guess what – on the record – and this may not be the most professional thing you ever heard me say, WE ARE SCREWED.

If we have resignations in the  Supreme Court at this moment – all of our issues – from marriage equality, voters rights, reproductive rights, abortion, to immigration, to this ban – are ALL going to be rolled back.

I want you to stay  woke. … as our black sisters and brothers teach us :  outraged . informed.”

(Woke is a slang term that is easing into the mainstream from some varieties of a dialect called African American Vernacular English (sometimes called AAVE). In AAVE, awake is often rendered as woke, as in, “I was sleeping, but now I’m woke.” ‘Woke‘ is increasingly used as a byword for social awareness.) …. arggh….

“Most importantly, you gotta stay united because our opposition is trying to divide and conquer us on issues. And what we’re saying to them is that we are intellectual enough. Loving enough.  That we will not be divided based on the issues we are most passionate —-  that we care about.

We will be inter-sectional in our organizing and we will show up for one another cause that’s what we do as the American people. (CHEERS)

So…what am I asking you to do? Three things:

1. social media
2. phone call elected officials
3. show up – public spaces presence extremely critical must be outraged on THE STREETS .  (CHEERS )

And I will end by saying this, I am a proud American and the way that I express my patriotism is through DISSENT, because dissent is the HIGHEST form of patriotism.

SO, if you LOVE your country, you fight hard to make your country the greatest nation on earth, because right now this country has a far way of going —

Until we have health care for everyone who needs health care, women have full agency of their bodies, until we have immigration reform, until we end mass incarceration and UNTIL we become a nation that welcomes ALL immigrants in this country,  until then we are NOT the greatest nation on this earth.

So – stay strong (fist held high above her head), stay united and stay organized.”  [END]

#CancelSarsour Protest a Great success, May 25th, 2017

MAY 25 , 2017. 12 to  2 pm (rain or shine)

Protest  CUNY Keynote Speake, Pro-Terror anti-Semite : Linda Sarsour Protest terror and hate at CUNY– this will not stand.(Pamela Geller)

“The AFDI demo against CUNY’s obscene invitation to pro-terror Jew-hater Linda Sarsour to give their commencement address was a smashing success! With over a thousand people who came out in a downpour of pelting rain on East 42nd Street outside CUNY’s headquarters on to oppose the mainstreaming of evil. It was an amazing event, a turning point, despite Mayor de Blasio’s nefarious attempts to undermine and destroy the rally.” [Pamela Geller]

Speakers included:
Assemblyman Dov Hikind
Milo Yiannopoulos
Pamela Geller
Nonie Darwish, Former Muslims United
John Guandolo, Founder of UnderstandingTheThreat.com.
David Wood, Acts 17 Apologetics

MY THOUGHTS on the event. To begin – It was raining and raining and RAINING for the whole TWO Hours.  But, this did not deter anyone for showing up.

[2 photos – Mike Grambush includes attorney, Aaron Schlossberg)

Even the press, eager to hear Milo speak, hung around. Milo was the keynote, so he spoke at the end. So the press WAITED. In the RAIN. As did we all.

The dedicated patriots enthusiastically jammed the protest area. Everyone hung in there – meeting the challenge of rain and the VERY obnoxious Leftist noise pollution.

[AFDI screen shot with me in red circle]

No rain was going to stop the patriots. NOR did it stop the soc/commie/leftists. So the police line was long and tight at the stage area

(3 live podcast screen shots – Tim Pool)

The ruse …. as long as passersby can move through the sidewalk …. passing their screaming gauntlet, the Soc/Commie/Lefties claim the right to STAND there, SCREAMING. Which is contrary to what we have been told in the past by the NYPD: keep moving, not standing, has been the supposed rule of law – til now.

crowd 1

Moving – no standing – but the lefties bully the system (always) to get their way. So rules change as they need them to change. An electic group of 20-something patriots marched back and forth in front of the Lefties, No standing around for them. [Foot Note – finally have a name for the eccentric Libertarian protestors – PROUD BOYS, a creation of Gavin McInnes]

Saw Gavin McInnes (the Proud Boy mentor) enter the stage enclosure from the crowd behind me. Wondered if he was speaking (he wasn’t listed). He was not. Just hung out at the edge of the stage.  Police didn’t like him offering a can of Pepsi to the protesting morons.

[my 2 screen shots of McInnes (with goatee) arriving and watching from side of the stage]

As for the abuses heaped upon The AFDI Speakers- by the obnoxious Left – I heard that the reason we were surrounded and drowned out by the Leftists was that the police were sued by the Commies – to be allowed to stand wherever they liked. (no idea if this is correct)

[AFDI screenshot]

Brief video of the crowd and the noise harassment. Noni Darwish was bravely speaking over the din.

Another source reported that when the police moved the Lefties away from the stage, the Commies started making phone calls. Presuming these calls went to someone in “Red Bill’s” office, since they were allowed, post-haste, and en masse a return to the staging area where they continued to relentlessly harass the speakers. (I understand the officers expressed frustration at this favoritism).

Which is why you will hear the unabated harassment heaped at these brave and dedicated speakers while they gave important and honorable speeches. I have posted videos of most of the speakers.

Pamela Geller’s opening remarks on why Linda Sarsour should not be the Key Note Speaker. “CUNY COULD have done BETTER”

Milo Yiannopoulos was the final keynote speaker

Noni Darwish gave an impassioned speech on the dangers of Sharia. She lived it and left Islam  ( which infuriates the Left) so they were particularly RUDE to her

David Wood (excerpted) is a respected scholar on Islam and Sharia spoke of the dangers of leave Islam – the sharia fatwas-  and the dangers for everyone to live – forced – under sharia.

John Guandolo – Ex FBI agent addressed the lies we in the so called (enlightened)  West are taught about Islam and Sharia. And what we can do about those lies.

Dov Hikind  (D) N.Y. State Assemblyman

Parting thoughts from Pamela Geller:

CUNY has invited a pro-terror, pro-sharia anti-semite to give the keynote commencement address. And they will not reconsider. Universities have dis-invited Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Nonie Darwish, Ann Coulter, Milo, legions of conservative thinkers and voices in defense of freedom, but a vicious, pro-sharia, Jew-hater they will defend to the death and that is it right there. They fear jihad. They fear Islamic supremacists. They know no harm with come to them if they smear, defame, libel or cancel us. They know we don’t destroy, maim, behead like Sarsour supporters and their violent running dogs on the left.

On June 1, Sharia advocate Linda Sarsour will be giving the graduate commencement speech at the City University of New York. While no one who believes in freedom of speech would object to Linda’s right to speak at a university, a graduate commencement address is a completely different story. The graduate commencement speaker is chosen by the university for the students’ final “send off.” Couldn’t CUNY find someone besides a Sharia advocate to speak at a celebration for students and their families?

Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch calls on Americans to protest:

Some people are responding by insisting that Linda Sarsour should be allowed to speak on college campuses. It seems they’ve missed the point entirely. No one is saying that Linda shouldn’t be allowed to speak at CUNY. (Robert even challenges her to a debate.) The protest is about Linda being the COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER for the graduation. The commencement speaker is the university’s choice for who gives the final “send off” for the graduates. CUNY chose a Sharia proponent for the final send off. That’s what’s being protested. CUNY is trying to ram Sharia down students’ and parents’ throats.

My next report- June 1st, 2017. Many fine patriots intend to protest outside the the Apollo Theatre where the grads will assemble inside. Wonder if the patriots will be allowed ANYWHERE NEAR the entrance.  To be continued….

Linda Sarsour, #Women For Syria NYC Union Sq

NYC – 6 pm – Union Square. April 13, 2017.  Linda Sarsour, darling of the Left; adored, respected, was host of the  #Women For Syria Vigil

In New York this Saturday, Women’s March organizers are planning vigils in 34 cities in the U.S. and abroad to call attention to the plight of the Syrian people and to demand a humanitarian response to the situation. Hundreds will call for the United States to take in Syrian refugees.

We will stand with them to push that rhetoric even further:

– Solidarity with all those displaced by bombs, markets, or discrimination

Abolish borders, and the nationalism and racism that depend on them

Free entry for Syrian refugees, and everyone else!”

“NYC’s Women For Syria vigil is to be led by Muslim activist, Linda Sarsour, National co-chair of the Women’s March.

Sarsour is the Exec Director of the Arab-American Association of New York.  She is a “proud Muslim woman” who finds no fault with CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood and supports Sharia LAW who became one of the main organizers of the recent Women’s March on Washington and now, was a leader for their next project, #WomenForSyria

The crowd was comprised of the usual Leftists, anti-Israel protesters and ‘social justice” warriors, like “NO! REFUSE Fascism“.

#WomenForSyria makes the claim that Americans are waking up:

[…] sections of the United States have begun to wake up and take to the streets, confronting the bourgeois state and the murdering racist police that protect it.”

As Linda took the ‘stage’, speaking with her usual THICK Brooklyn accent, she reminded this small but very supportive crowd that she’s just a GIRL from Brooklyn. Deftly adding a convenient photo-op by holding a friend’s toddler.

Video of Sarsour’s opening speech was engaging, but scattered. Predictably, she managed to include mention of “Palestinian” solidarity and Islamophobia.

The United States must take-in MORE Syrian refugees. A plea I’ve heard often over the past 5 years, during Obama’s presidency and now Trump’s. SYRIAN REFUGEES must be given sanctuary.

++ A brief look back at previous mostly anti-Assad, Sanctuary for Syrian Refugees signs and flyers; the anti-Bush, anti-Obama screeds etc, in posts from Sept 2012, Aug 2013, Sept 2013Aug 2014, Sept 2015, Dec 2015 ++

In 2013, from a World Can’t Wait protest. A familiar message while holding Assad’s two-star flag. [Not the revolution three-star flag.]

In 2013, World Can’t Wait, DEFENDING Assad?

https://thesilentmajoritynomore.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/flyer-copy1.jpg

A 2013 Face book complaint felt misled by the “World Can’t Wait” action:

facebook copy

By 2014, the message was clearly against Assad and gassing Syrians.

Back to 2107. A man from Refuse Fascism ranted that Trump does NOT care about the Beautiful Children. Saving the Children is just a U.S. war machine ploy. The Commie contingent fomenting turmoil. confusion. conflicting messages.

But, saving the refugees. the women. the babies. the families from the terrors of gassing has complications; caveats that preclude thanks.

From their press release:

“We are outraged that the President and his cabinet are banning the very refugees that are escaping the same terrorism we are claiming to fight. The United States has taken in a very small number of Syrian refugees. We demand that we be a sanctuary and safe haven for Syrian refugees. We call on the administration to let in at least 75,000 refugees. This will help alleviate some of the suffering of the children and their families. There is no easy solution — but providing Syrians with a life of safety and security is the least we can do.”

Amongst the few speakers I heard was a Muslim man, a social justice leader and best friend of Linda’s; a male ally.

Followed by a Christian Syrian woman.

The Christian speaker mentioned that there are NO opposing factions in Syria. Then WHY are there TWO flags?

From Wiki: there are currently two governments claiming to be the de jure government of Syria, using different flags to represent the state. The incumbent government, led by Bashar al-Assad and the Ba’ath Party, is using the red-white-black United Arab Republic flag in use since 1980; while the Syrian Interim Government, led by the Syrian National Coalition – seeking to overthrow the Assad government – readopted the green-white-black Independence flag in 2012.

AND this clarification:  “The Assad regime is backed by Iran and other Shias.

2012–present, Flag used by the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces
2012–present, Flag used by the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces
1980–present, Syrian Arab Republic
1980–present, Syrian Arab Republic

Sounds like factions, to me. But, in Union Square, we saw only the flag of the revolution opposing Assad.

Peace and Love. Love not War.

>A young woman, Hibah Javed, stands with friends at #WomenforSyria

Apparently these Social Justice warriors are THE BEST arbiters of Peace. Linda said we must LISTEN to the SYRIANS, they are the only ones qualified on how to deal with Assad etc. All decisions should come from SYRIANS.

[From 2013 – Times Sq]

So, if Syrians are the only ones qualified to fix the Syrian problems. WHY aren’t they fixing them? IN Syria? And , why is the U.S. being pressured so take in Syrian refugees? More and more.

Sarsour has the answer (in Salon):

“We absolutely have to take responsibility for the refugee crisis. Our flawed foreign policy in the Middle East has created the fertile ground for groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda. We can’t act like we have nothing to do with that.”

         Sarsour continued

“Hate is not going to divide us. People need to be held accountable for hate speech … words that are inspiring actual violence against innocent people who have nothing to do with these terrorist attacks happening.”

Who is doing the HATING? From today’s gathering, one would surmise it’s America. America is characterized as a racist, hate-filled State. America, she is BAD.

“Stop the War. Stop the Hate.” Refers only to the U.S. imperial war machine. No one else seems to be responsible.

Sept 2015 – The Nation explains why:

“The Syrian civil war has displaced more than 4 million people, most of them to other countries in the region—though conspicuously not to the Persian Gulf states or Saudi Arabia, friend to the West and armorer of Islamist fighters in Syria. The rise of the Islamic State, or ISIS—now terrorizing Syria and Iraq and threatening neighboring countries—was sparked by the aftermath of the Iraq invasion and further fueled by the misguided tactics of the United States and Britain in Syria. Yet the United States has accepted just 1,500 Syrian refugees since the civil war began.”

Listen UP President Trump, the #Women For Syria are calling you to task:

“If you stop bombing and OCCUPYING their countries, there won’t be MILLIONS of refugees trying to flee…”

AMERICA, YOU MADE THEM. LET THEM IN.

Linda Sarsour Leads A Day Without A Woman Strike NYC

The Anti-Trump Women’s Movement Teams Up With Islamist Terrorist  and Linda Sarsour, Islamist apologist and activist,  a supporter of shariah law. Linda was our HOST for the day at 59th st and Fifth Avenue. Noon and the sidewalks were jammed, both sides with a sea of Red and PINK. A lot of foolish women worshiping at the altar of sharia loving feminazi, Linda Sarsour. SAD.

Banner4.png

“Anti-Trump activism seems to have little to do with the political arts required to win elections — finding common ground, forging alliances, making friends. Instead all of these demonstrations are about denouncing enemies, and making yourself feel better about the November defeat by gathering publicly with those who share your rage. This sort of thinking leads to such self-defeating acts as interrupting traffic in places like New York City (where Trump got 18 percent of the vote) or San Francisco (9 percent).

If you want to persuade working-class Trump voters in Wisconsin to join your cause, annoying rich liberal Democrats trying to get to work a thousand miles away is a strange way to go about it.” [NY Post]

Israeli Apartheid Week 2017 – Columbia University

This year the 13th Annual Israeli Apartheid Week took place all around the world between March – April 2017. Israeli Apartheid Week is organized by an international network of grassroots solidarity groups, unions and activists.

apartheid-week-2017
March 1st, 2017 – RAIN- and Apartheid Week 2017 at Columbia University and its vile Apartheid WALL was getting rained-out. (little pleasures) March 3 was the last day of this annual week of hate and lies and with no rain predicted the next day, I headed for Columbia.

But, now it was WIND. (What’s next frogs and locusts?) Whatever, once I arrived, I rather enjoyed the low-impact caused by this inclement weather. The Wall  of Hate  had to lay flat on the ground. The visual impact was down to zero.

short video:

Oddly, after about 20 minutes, I was quizzed by a Columbia Media Relations Rep. Where was my press permit (really?) He begrudgingly let me stay an extra 15 minutes since I explained I was “hanging, hoping the wind would abate and the wall placed upright – for a better picture. I waited 15 minutes. 1 pm arrived; gusty winds still blowing so: No “Wall”.

Really there was nothing new to see. Never is. I’ve been following the NYC Apartheid Week since 2007. Been to one Apartheid Week offensive you’ve been to them all: the anti-U.S., anti-Israel, anti-Jewish message is deeply embedded and never grows dim. The annual event has grown from 2005 to 2017. Ever stronger, they hold court, spew their litany of lies eagerly accepted as FACT. NO opposition allowed.

If ONLY we could get equal time to counter their outrageous lies. If only our truth could be heard …. by open minds.  If Only.

“Emergency Rally for Muslim and Immigrant Rights” – Washington Sq – NYC

Wednesday, January 25, 2017 – 5 pm – Washington Square . Emergency Rally For Muslim and Immigrant Rights” hosted by Hamas-linked CAIR.

cair-quotes-00_15_49_10-still001
Joined by NYC’s hard-core Leftist politicians and union shills.

.
.
The Soc/Commie/Prog/Fascisti ranted and whined for over an hour about the need to RESIST the Trump Presidency.

RESIST. RESIST. RESIST.

Their Plan: Deconstruct American customs and laws, one fake-news protest at a time.
.
.

And the press eats it up. No Rally.  No Protest goes unnoticed.

AFDI (American Freedom Defense Initiative) has compiled video excerpts that exposes this treasonous revolt

By the time they actually started – after much waiting – Washington Square was packed.  5 pm was really just hurry up and WAIT.

We had to wait, chant, and wait some more …. while our Muslim brothers and sisters finished their Maghrib (sunset) prayers. Call a presser to coincide with their prayers; to impress the media with their faithfulness. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Spread the Prayers. Spread the Love….

Finally, Afaf Nasher, Executive Director of CAIR-NY, Muslim. hijabbed and photogenic, began to introduce the speakers.

Missing, BTW, was Linda Sarsour. Muslim. sarsour-anti-nypd-protestPhotogenic.  Sarsour led most of these protests as the hijabbed-face of Islam. Groomed for public office, but she seems to have disappeared from the forefront of this diverse and inclusive enclave.

Even so, there was no shortage of local and State government politicians, anti-Trump and in-the-pocket of the pro-Hamas “CAIR Demolition Express” .

The short individual videos of the speakers, throws the spotlight on the outrageously predictable speeches of  NYC’s hard-core Marxist politicians. To paraphrase Sun Tzu,  another step in the “Know Thy Enemy” loop. We have ignored their agenda for too long.

To keep the American reformation from happening they “Dance with the Devil” (shaitan). Preaching to “the Oppressed”. The Good. The Needy. The “Tired and Poor”. A recipe for Deceit. Duplicity. For Treason.

Repetition is their drug of choice: “NAZI. Trump.  Fascist. Trump. Racist Trump AND Dump Trump. Dump Trump. Dump Trump.” He must be stopped. Impeach Trump! (amidst cheers, cheers. and more cheers)

The prominent agitators behind this presser/ rally/protest : CAIR / Workers Party/Communist Party/ Socialist Party. SEIU. NYCLU. The NY City Council.   All seek treasonous ways to create and maintain the disaffected masses. Their goals never change.  Agitate. Propagate. Exterminate. (rinse and repeat) Agitate. Propagate. Exterminate. (rinse and repeat ) Agitate. Propagate. Exterminate. (rinse and repeat)…. ad nauseum ….

We are at war. Traitors from within. Temper tantrums from the Left. And the media still LOVES them.

“… a war between Davos, Conde Nast, GQ, Soros, MSNBC, Hollywood, Facebook and America. And America won.

The “resistance” is a collection of elites, from actors at award shows to fashion magazines to tech billionaires, decrying a popular revolt against their rule. They are not the resistance. They are dictators in exile. They had their chance to impose their vision on the people. And they lost.

The protests aren’t a revolution. They’re a counterrevolutionary reaction by a fallen establishment.”

The People have spoken. At the ballot box. We the Revolution!

Part 12- Chants from the Resistance in Washington Sq

Next day, CAIR thanked all the little people and their political sycophants on face book for joining The Resistance:

Our most sincere thanks to the thousands of New Yorkers who joined us last night to take a powerful stand against President Trump’s attacks on Muslim and immigrant New Yorkers. More than 3,000 people joined this remarkable rally, and there wasn’t a single arrest during the CAIR-NY sponsored event (though we were saddened to learn of several arrests during a later splinter demonstration).

Yesterday was the easy part, now we tackle the long, strenuous task of building the legal and advocacy capacity to fight any attack on our Muslim and undocumented neighbors. Please consider making a donation today to help cover the costs of last night’s demonstration and build CAIR-NY’s ability to advocate for all New Yorkers. We don’t receive any funding from our national organization, so CAIR-NY depends on the New York community for our financial support. http://www.cair-ny.org/donate.
