“No Biz with Tech” as Left Marches against Amazon Corporate Greed (again)

Oct 11. 2019. The Marxist/Socialist war against big business:“NO TECH FOR ICE!” continued as they gathered on the steps outside NYC’s famous public library (at 42nd and Fifth Ave)

“Close the Camps & End Corporate Profits from Immigrant Detention” hosted by NYC Democratic Socialists of America

AOC’s job-killing Amazon attack claimed that corporations only care about PROFITS. And since ICE is a state-sanctioned terrorist group, corporate TECH support from Amazon must END!

No Hate No Fear, Immigrants are Welcome Here!

Marxists/Socialists support the People, Open Borders and Sanctuary Cities for Illegals. Ignoring history, they only generate failure (think Venezuela, Cuba)

From Palestine to Mexico, all the walls have got to go!

Outside the library Socialists demanded an end to government collusion with ICE, profiteering (they say) from (ILLEGAL) immigrant detention.

Democrat Socialist accusations against corporate greed:

  • Salesforce contracts directly with CBP to provide custom software for hiring purposes. Through a $7.2 million annual contract, Amazon provides its Amazon Web Services to Palantir for their direct contract with ICE.Tech companies like Salesforce and Amazon provide the tools for the surveillance, detention, deportation and death of immigrants. In order to close immigrant detention camps, we must end the profit motive.”
  • The time has come for THE people to put a stop to the detention and deportation of immigrants and end the money-making that drives these policies.  It’s time to mobilize nationwide against the US’s draconian immigration policies and the corporations that profit from them! “

Video Part 1 March gathers at Main library at Fifth Ave- 42nd Street. Excerpted quotes from one speaker:

“The Democrats are partners with Trump in the attack on immigrants. (… in Jersey) counties all run by Democrats, they have the biggest concentration camps in the country (…) many of the immigrants here in liberal New York are dragged to their partners in New Jersey (…) grabbed by ICE, dragged to Newark, then sent off to the other part of the gulag in Miami (…) this happens repeatedly. We’ve got to build a movement … to march to the Democrats concentration camp, to demand its closure. Immigrants are not our enemy, it’s the billionaire class.”

Part 2 – Outside Amazon Book Store on 34th Street. Excerpted quotes from another speaker:

“Amazon … supplies facial recognition technology … they use for surveillance and  deportation of our immigrant community. It’s time for Amazon to say, “No Business with ICE.” (…) Salesforce, another company supplying tools for Border Control. (remember) they can’t deport people if the companies that profit from them no longer exist! (laughing) No TECH FOR ICE!”

The March concluded at Salesforce

Across from Bryant Park at Sixth Ave and 42nd St
Part 3  video finishes the march to Salesforce

Endorsements to END CORPORATE PROFITS partners included:
Close the Camps NYC
DRUM – Desis Rising Up & Moving
Jackson Heights Immigrant Solidarity Network
CODEPINK: Women For Peace / CODEPINK NYC
Laborers Local 79 – New York City

“The NYC-DSA Immigrant Justice Working Group is organizing alongside local immigrant-led organizations to fight back against ICE, to expand protections and rights for (ILLEGAL) immigrants through state and local legislation, and end the corporate profiteering from immigrant labor exploitation and detentions and deportations.”

Sanctuary Passover Seder/Jericho Walk : Solidarity with Illegal Migrants – NYC

How is This Walk Different From All Other Walks: A Passover Seder & Jericho Walk in Solidarity with Immigrants Foley Square . April 5, 2018 – 10:15am – 11:00am

(This Walk? Different?) Just the same ol, same ol from the Sanctuary City Coalition, EXCEPT this time they did a Passover Seder; a foolish display opposed by NY-JDL.

During the holiday of Passover, the Jewish community invited people of all faiths to gather for a pre-walk Seder ritual, in which they sought to connect Jewish tradition’s commitment to ending oppression and to welcoming the stranger with the fight for immigrant rights today; gathering as an act of solidarity with the New Sanctuary Coalition and friends who are “at risk” for detention and deportation from ICE.

The sedar was organized and led by Rabbi Joshua Stanton, Rabbi Lauren Grabelle Herrmann and immigration attorney/Avodah alumna Rachel Davidson – in collaboration with Ravi Ragbir and the New Sanctuary Coalition.

The JDL successfully frustrated the lefties, particularly illegal felon Ravi Ragbir, who attempted to block the JDL from assembling  in a public park (see video)

Every Thursday, Ravi Ragbir and his New Sanctuary Coalition bring together faith leaders, immigration activists and community members to march in silence and pray outside 26 Federal Plaza — in solidarity with those ( illegals) whom they claim are “denied their Right to Remain”.

NO BORDERS USA- SI! (that’s their ticket)

Part 1 video – at 3:16 to 3:28  Ravi foolishly attempts to force the JDL (in a public park) to move away from the Sanctuary Sedar.

Ravi Ragbir (illegal felon) demanding Solidarity with Illegal Migrants.

Part 2 video. Ravi’s Passover Sanctuary Sedar demanded LIBERATION for all illegals.

The NY-JDL leaders asked: Should I bring matzah?  🙂

The sedar was followed by the Jericho Walk from 11:00 am-12:30pm, SEVEN times round and round  26 Federal Plaza (Foley Square is between the courts and Federal Plaza). I left: been to one seven times around- you’ve been to the ALL.

JERICHO WALK 2018 FOR illegal RAVI RAGBIR – NO DEPORTATION

January 29, 2018. Outside NYC Federal Plaza.

Ravi Ragbir, 43, was arrested Jan. 11, 2018 during a scheduled appointment with federal officials. Ragbir worked as the head of the New Sanctuary Coalition, an advocacy group assisting people facing detention and deportation.
He had been granted permanent residency in 1994, but it was revoked after a wire fraud conviction six years later. SO, on this day, they gathered outside the Federal Building

I covered the Jericho Walk previously in 2011. Led by Ragbir they marched ’round and ’round the Federal Building – SEVEN times –  as in the Walls of Jericho and looking like Fascisti every time they paused to do their HEIL salute. (picture from 2011 walk).

IMG_0482 copy

“Ravi Ragbir, New Sanctuary’s organizer, in addition to being a well-known immigrant rights activist in the New York metro area, is himself an immigrant at risk of deportation. He is also from the War Resisters League” Inside Immigrant Prisons

https://newsanctuarynyc.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/ravi-1.png?resize=418%2C255

In 2011, Ravi Ragbir (lower left in screen grab) spoke defiantly about being in the U.S. ILLEGALLY.

Now, in 2018, under arrest and finally facing deportation, his Sanctuary Movement cohorts walked the Jericho Walk, sans Ragbir, around the Fed Building .

SILENTLY reciting the Jericho Prayer to show solidarity with their “immigrant brothers and sisters.

The JDL was there, too, in support of American Immigration Law. (video is of 2018 walk).

The JDL presence caused a few of the Sanctuary Prayer-Walkers to behave in contradiction to their SILENT Walk instructions: Walk around building. Say silent prayer 7 times and when you stop, raise “Heil” hands in front of Fed Building. BE SILENT.A young female walker (dressed all in black) assaulted one JDL member by ripping his sign. (beginning at 4:02 in video)

After an older woman accused them of being “uneducated Trump Voters” (starting at 3:20) another malcontent (an older fellow in blue hoodie) was VERY vocal (not silent at all) as he tediously taunted with, “Fake News. Yes, Fox Fake News. Believe your alternative facts  … Babies don’t break laws … Keep America WHITE Again“.
Then there was the press. THEIR press. Eager to record this sacred gathering in support of DACA.
One familiar photographer, Sandi Bachom, got her 15 minutes last year when she went AGAINST Mayor de Blasio’s failed attempt at shutting down the Central Park Hansom Cabs. She got that one right. ONE. The rest of the time she’s out cheer-leading for every Hard Left campaign she can cover.

Today she should have just filmed – instead of her unfortunate attempts at ‘gotcha’ reporting (in the video at 1:31) : “Make America Great Again? Getting rid of all immigrants. Who told you this, Donald Trump? Where’d ja read that, on Brietbart? Where did you  first hear about it (Ragbir) I never heard about it til last week ….Where’d ja hear about it? Ja hear about it on Info wars? Alex Jones? You know what that is?” Getting NO where with such embarrassing questions, she slank away with a “thank you”.
Meanwhile, the JDL held their ground while quietly protesting as the Jericho protestors walked 7 times around the building. Other than the bad-players in the walk, it was a very quiet event.

Later that afternoon: Manhattan judge orders immigration activist Ravi Ragbir released from custody

A federal judge ordered immigration activist Ravi Ragbir be released from custody on Monday, granting him a temporary reprieve from deportation to his native Trinidad and Tobago.

In a seven-page decision, Manhattan Federal Court Judge Katherine Forrest wrote that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents had violated Ragbir’s rights to due process.

“The court finds that when this country allowed (Ragbir) to become a part of our community fabric, allowed him to build a life with and among us and to enjoy the liberties and freedom that come with that, it committed itself to allowance of an orderly departure when the time came, and it committed itself to avoidance of unnecessary cruelty when the time came,” Forrest wrote.

“By denying (Ragbir) these rights, the government has acted wrongly.”

She wrote that Ragbir was “entitled to the freedom to say goodbye” — indicating the activist still faces eventual deportation. [NY Daily News]

The Constitution commands better,” says Manhattan Federal Court Judge Katherine Forrest. (really?)
Encouraged by Mayor de Blasios’s Sanctuary City Movement, this Manhattan Federal Court Judge ignored U.S. Immigration Law, supporting those who have no respect for the Rule of Law. Anarchy? Is that the ticket?

In their own words: Sarsour and Tish James – Treason or Patriotism?

July 2, 2017. July 4, Independence Day is just days away. SO, I decided to transcribe Letitia (James) and Linda (Sarsour), to throw some light on their rabble rousing  accusations. BOTH claiming to be Proud Americans. Patriots who are RECLAIMING  America. Saving our Constitution…. from those hateful, racist Republicans. Are you buying what they are selling? Maybe not, but sadly, there are buyers.

These two women, one elected to office and the other aspiring to do likewise, speak for the Progs. – not the average Americans. The Soc/Commie Bernie Sanders Left who masquerade as patriots and (of course) the MSM,  the press LOVES them. So, too, does the next Gen. Primed to resist, for the revolution.

Danger lurks in the hearts of the Millennial/Alphabet Gens that they court. Fed a steady diet of lies. propaganda. fake news. fake history . They respond passionately with cheers. smiles and fist pumping.  ready for CHANGE as they take to the streets.

I witness the same scenarios over and over nurtured at protest after protest by their Comrades-in-Arms: Insurrection. Treason.  Fed to the masses  through our media, our entertainment AND our schools. Better Red than Dead? NOT!

First up, the words of  NYC Public Advocate, Letitia James . Then Linda Sarsour, the agitators this day at the Emergency Town Hall.

Letitia A. “Tish” James is an American lawyer, activist, and politician in the Democratic Party. She is the current and fourth New York City Public Advocate and first African American woman to hold citywide office. … Howard University School of Law. … admitted to practice law in New York state in 1989. James is the first member of the Working Families Party to win office in New York State and the first third-party member to be elected to the NYC Council since 1977.

Jan 25, 2017 : Washington Sq – Flash back quotes

Tish James : ” If you honor the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, then you have an obligation. Whenever you see a government that is lawless, you’ve got an obligation  and a duty to RESIST. RESIST. RESIST.

We’ve got an obligation and a duty to fight back… to protect the marginalized community and vulnerable community … we’ve got to protect those who they are coming after.

We’ve got to stand with them. Rise them. And let them know that THIS is the America that we love and we’ll FIGHT for it.

We are a city made great by the blood, sweat and tears of immigrants and refugees. And we will not close our borders. We will not close our shores [….] ( NYC) is an immigrant town and a sanctuary city and we will protect that right.

And so we’ve gotta stand up to the Federal Government. We’ve gotta stand up to bullies. We’ve gotta stand up to an administration that is “too male, too pale and too stale”.

We will not be silent in the face of this oppression, in the face of this discrimination; in the face of HATE. We will not normalize hate.

This is MY country and I will DEFEND the rights of immigrants and refugees. Mr. President, you and your Executive Orders, you have turned back progress for decades.  That puts you on notice, we will resist and we will ultimately see you in court.

I say to Donald Trump, you are NOT my President. I will resist you and stand up to you and I know there is an ARMY out there that will join me.

I need my young people to organize and organize and organize. It is up to you, to get out in the streets, to protect your colleagues, to protect your students, your neighbor and to PROTECT your COUNTRY.” [END]

NEXT June 29, 2017 – recent quotes Letitia James – always like she was speaking to the Comintern.

“Say it Loud Say it Clear Immigrants are welcome here. Refugees are welcome here . Grandparents are welcome here . Your entire family is welcome here.

(At) JFK airport to greet immigrants who are only seeking freedom and opportunity, we can not grow tired (or weary) now. We cannot cower now. WE cannot be fearful now.

We gotta rise up and resist with every fiber of our being […] because we are in a CONSTITUTIONAL crisis. We are at WAR with ourselves. This is not America. Our Values.

On this Independence Weekend let us rise up and DEFEND the Constitution. No Wall with separate us. No Ban will stop us.

[snip]

Make sure individuals will feel welcome here. Comfort here. We will continue to embrace them.

We will continue to challenge this UN-Constitutional Ban by an illegitimate President [… ] because THIS is Democracy and THIS is what makes America great: ALL of us HERE together. (CHEERS)

I know these are very VERY troubling times. But we cannot grow weary. We cannot be afraid. Understand, we are all in this together. When they come after one group their going to come after ALL of us. So we must ALL stand together.

Say it loud say it clear that immigrants and REFUGEES are welcome here. They’re part of the HUMAN family.

This is nothing but a MUSLIM Ban. A Muslim BAN. So we need to say that MUSLIMS are Americans too and they need to be treated with respect. They need to know that the law covers them as well.

So I stand with you today. I hope to see you at the airport. As we raise our voices. As we continue to RESIST this administration [… ] and all that we stand for and all that we value.

And on the 4th – instead of going to a B-B-Q go to JFK. Instead of fireworks.Instead of taking a day off, sitting by the beach/lying in the sun: Go to JFK!  Let everyone know that we stand for something. That the Millennials – Gen  C ,  they believe in others. That it’s not about themselves. All will work together to make this a more perfect society.

What we must do together, stand up and defend America and its values. DEFEAT Islamophobia and all those who HATE people who are different. Diversity is our strength. We gotta celebrate that. Thank you for recognizing that ALL of us are Americans.

I’m a Muslim tonight. I’m Gay tonight. I’m Latino tonight.  I’m Black tonight. We are all one. No distinction. We are all one.

Let us rise up together. Let us stand together.”(CHEERS) [END]

Letitia was followed by the keynote advocate for insurrection, Linda Sarsour.

Sarsour, in her resignation letter from her position as executive director of the Brooklyn-based Arab American Association of New York.

“We are in a critical moment as a country and I feel compelled to focus my energy on the national level and building the capacity of the progressive movement, so it is with a heavy heart that I announce that I will be leaving my post as the executive director of the Arab American Association of New York.”

Linda Sarsour was born in Brooklyn, New York[2] and is the oldest of seven children born to a pair of “Palestinian” immigrants.

Linda Sarsour quotes from Union Square -June 29th, 2017

“I feel like I’m having the same conversation like – every week. I came here to say what I say to New Yorkers, and in any platform that I have (had?)  before the elections, THIS is NOT normal.

Remind yourselves that you live in a country with a President and an administration that is NOT normal.

This ban is a Muslim refugee ban. No other way to describe it.

As a country that passed marriage equality (sends a message) nobody gets to decide who our families are.  We get to say who our family is and what constitutes a bonafied relationship. We have people whose grandparents and aunts and uncles are their primary guardians.

When we allow the federal government to tell us who our family members are, we undermine the decades of work that people  have done in this country,
for us to define our families and what makes up the people that we love. (applause- cheers)

This ban impacts most directly the people who need us most – people who need critical medical care – who can die if they don’t come to this country and have access to the type of health care services we have.

This is a ban  that keeps out the refugees – the very people – impacted by war and conflict that WE are instigating and fueling with our tax payer dollars and WE tell them they can’t come find refuge in our country.

We should be ashamed that there are people living in refugee camps – victims of terrorism and violence.  And we are telling them that they do not belong here and can’t come into our country.  I say we have to stay loud and outraged every single day.

I am fueled my perpetual outrage at this administration.

Sisters and brothers, our country has done horrific things to many communities BEFORE Muslims.  We have a history of doing unthinkable things to communities … a precedent that our nation has set forth  for different elements of our society. I want you to join me – to be part of the NEVER AGAIN generation. I will not allow horrific things to happen to any community on my watch or on your watch.

So, there was NO partial victory. There was NO limitation to this ban. There was just a rejuvenation of what this administration tried to do from Muslim Ban 1, Muslim Ban 2.0 and now we’re at the Supreme Court.

AND for those who know the history of the Supreme Court, THEY DON’T ALWAYS DO THE RIGHT THING.

If we have any folks resigning from the Supreme Court anytime soon – guess what – on the record – and this may not be the most professional thing you ever heard me say, WE ARE SCREWED.

If we have resignations in the  Supreme Court at this moment – all of our issues – from marriage equality, voters rights, reproductive rights, abortion, to immigration, to this ban – are ALL going to be rolled back.

I want you to stay  woke. … as our black sisters and brothers teach us :  outraged . informed.”

(Woke is a slang term that is easing into the mainstream from some varieties of a dialect called African American Vernacular English (sometimes called AAVE). In AAVE, awake is often rendered as woke, as in, “I was sleeping, but now I’m woke.” ‘Woke‘ is increasingly used as a byword for social awareness.) …. arggh….

“Most importantly, you gotta stay united because our opposition is trying to divide and conquer us on issues. And what we’re saying to them is that we are intellectual enough. Loving enough.  That we will not be divided based on the issues we are most passionate —-  that we care about.

We will be inter-sectional in our organizing and we will show up for one another cause that’s what we do as the American people. (CHEERS)

So…what am I asking you to do? Three things:

1. social media
2. phone call elected officials
3. show up – public spaces presence extremely critical must be outraged on THE STREETS .  (CHEERS )

And I will end by saying this, I am a proud American and the way that I express my patriotism is through DISSENT, because dissent is the HIGHEST form of patriotism.

SO, if you LOVE your country, you fight hard to make your country the greatest nation on earth, because right now this country has a far way of going —

Until we have health care for everyone who needs health care, women have full agency of their bodies, until we have immigration reform, until we end mass incarceration and UNTIL we become a nation that welcomes ALL immigrants in this country,  until then we are NOT the greatest nation on this earth.

So – stay strong (fist held high above her head), stay united and stay organized.”  [END]

#NoMuslimBanEver: Emergency Town Hall NYC 6/29

June 29th, 2017 . An Emergency “Town Hall” was called in response to the “Supreme Court Upholds Trump’s Travel Ban”. A ban that would affect 6 terrorist Mid-East countries. They were outraged.

At approximately 6 pm, after listening to a number of speakers, the march to 18th St from Union Square commenced.

Sponsored by Linda Sarsour’s Arab American Association of New York  and Mpower Change

“Calling directly impacted communities, organizers, faith leaders, labor organizers, activists and allies for an emergency town hall to .discuss latest move by SCOTUS on the Muslim ban.

Make no mistake: the latest SCOTUS ruling is not a partial victory for affected communities. It’s still a Muslim and refugee ban and we still need to ORGANIZE. We CANNOT normalize this and forget the context in which this Administration operates: they are motivated by fear-mongering, xenophobia and Islamophobia.

This ruling is ambiguous and confusing and will create chaos once its implemented and we need to PUSH BACK. The most disproportionately impacted will be the people who need to immigrate here the most: refugees.

The Event was co-sponsored by: African Communities Together, New York Immigration Coalition, Network Against Islamophobia, CUNY CLEAR as well as MPower Change and Arab American Association of New York .”

I found them by accident at Union Square.

A tight circle of protestors and media clamoring to get pictures and video, particularly of NYC Public Advocate, Leticia James, and (Saint) Linda Sarsour of Brooklyn.

Amongst the many speakers were two well-known advocates for open borders and sanctuary cities (yes- even Sharia Law). What they have to say was predictably offensive, but well worth a listen.

First, Leticia James, NYC Public Advocate (Racist and very RED)

The last speaker, was (Saint) Linda, the Sharia-loving, queen-of-the- night.

Once finished speaking, they marched a couple of blocks to SEIU Union Hall where a couple of Back the Ban protestors greeted them. (a troll hung with them briefly)
Of course, there was much angry shouting right back at them, which abated briefly, and then took off again while the meeting took place upstairs.

World Refugee Day : Back The Ban vs March to Iftar

June 20, 2017 – 6 pm –  NYC World Refugee Day  – Stop the Refugee Ban, Save Asylum and Defend Temporary Protected Status (TPS)”

At 6 pm  African Communities Together (ACT) and City of Refuge Coalition partners gathered at  59th/ 5th Ave’.   Other than lots of signs (and those orange dinghies) it was low-key at this point. Voice of America did a few interviews, but the march and the Iftar, these were the main events.

6:30pm – 7:30pm: March to/ Rally at Trump World Tower and Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (47th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenue)

8:30pm – 9:30pm: Interfaith Iftar* at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (47th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenue)

*An Iftar is the ceremonial ‘breaking of fast’ observed by Muslims during the month of Ramadan.

Wasn’t able to follow them to the U.N. and the Iftar, (I found plenty of reportage on the Iftar). Meanwhile, I focused on the preliminaries and their Signs of Love and Inclusion ( unless you are Trump and company)  .

The orange dinghy brigade returned [waiting  in the background]

No love for all things Trump

Interviews with Voice of America included this familiar protestor

6:30 pm and the march to the U.N. was almost ready to go…til someone picked up those ORANGE dinghys

Video – brief interview quotes and then the—  parade passes by—-

The sponsors were the usual suspects.

“Thanks to everyone for organizing such an inspirational demonstration….The Iftar meal was delicious! —The Last Raft.

The Observer:

“The action […] condemned the administration’s efforts to bar refugees from war-torn Syria and other Muslim lands and defended Temporary Protected Status, which gives arrivals from nations enduring an armed conflict or natural disaster deportation immunity and work authorization. The march kicked off on 59th Street and Fifth Avenue and concluded […] (when) demonstrators held an interfaith iftar—the evening meal breaking the daytime fast during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

“We are celebrating the heritage and existence of refugees in this country and throughout the world,” Fatou Waggeh, a civic organizer for African Communities Together[…] “But we’re also coming together as a community to say that we stand against the refugee ban.”

“Waggeh recalled “feeling very sad and depressed” when Trump was elected in November but that she is now feeling “mobilized and hopeful.”‘

The DSA Immigration Justice Working Group  aka  NYC Democratic Socialists of America:
” Just remember: It’s not you. It’s Capitalism

 PressSenza:

“United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres called on the international community to provide support and solidarity to refugees. “We reflect on the courage of those who fled and the compassion of those who welcome them,” the Secretary-General said.”

There’s always a protest somewhere. NYC  soc/commie/progs never rest: next up. an Emergency Town Hall meeting Against the Supreme Court Decision.

Patriots March FOR #MAGA vs “Peoples” March for Free Press

March 25, 2017 – 1 PM – Patriots marched in support of President  TRUMP and #MAGA in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, across from the U.N.

In NYC the actual march didn’t seem to happen, though about 40 Trumpers gathered first at Trump Tower – at 11 am- and then walked to the gathering in the UN Park. So, you could say there was a mini-march.  A peaceful gathering. DIVERSE (as always).

Once at the rally, I saw a nice solid assemblage of patriots. Not huge, but not tiny either. Maybe 100 or even a bit more.

With lots of signs…

And lots of banners….

Heard a few speeches of support for Trump’s America. The main speaker was immigration enforcement expert, Michael Cutler. Cutler has 30 years of experience as an Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) agent.

He was followed briefly by Jimmy McMillan, founder of The Rent Is Too Damn High Party.

Found a few anti-Trump protestors across the street with impeachment issues.

No matter the conflicting Chinese factions…

…. the mood stayed uplifted amongst the MAGA crowd.

There was, also, a disturbing faction that attached itself to this Trump Rally: the  Larouchies.  [see Lyndon LaRouche Party – Wiki]  Way too many La Rouch signs and clip boards in-hand as they worked to recruit New Larouchies.

These weird groupies, will they become a trend at the NY Republican rallies? Hope not.

Then there was Gary Phaneuf – a ‘professional” heckler – and Chairman Mao’s faithful disciple. Gary walked through the Republican crowd with his Trump cap, Trump-Putin sign and his Communist China Daily rag. What happened? Why are the Trump rallies attracting these bizarre creatures?

Whatever, the many group of patriots were on message with the National Anthem. The Pledge-of-Allegiance as well as plenty of smiles and good-will.

… Slide show of #MAGA Rally…

DSC_9428

Two marches in one day with the Patriots vs the Socialists. On  my way to the #MAGA rally, I stopped by the “People” March for a Free Press protest/rally

It was Noon in Bryant Park (42nd and Sixth ave) just a couple of avenues from the NY Times.(another mini-march) It’s the gesture that matters, ’cause they are ‘marching”.

Their aim was to show SUPPORT for a Free Press while resisting Trump’s “Fascist” America.

Trying to LOOK Patriotic – after all,  resistance is patriotic – they spoke of the Constitution, the American Revolution and claimed their protest was a living example of what our Founding Fathers fought for. The TRUTH will keep us FREE.

So, now all those racist, dead WHITE males are okay?

Holding large and small American flags while reciting the Pledge of Allegiance the speakers’ focused on, Trump and his minions who they claim oppose a Free Press. And Fox news. Of course.

TRUMP is a threat to PATRIOTIC Americans, like themselves; a danger to the NY Slimes and … a Free Press

(People for a Free Press & Tax The Rich) Couple this display with their signs, masquerading as patriotic Americans, resulted in a confused message (for some).

Passers-by wondered, “For or against the NY Times?”

The NEW Socialist Left, inquiring minds want to know,  are they the real patriots? Exposing those fools who support President Trump and Fox News. The fight is on for WHO represents a patriotic, FREE Press America.

… Slide show of the “Peoples Protest “…

DSC_9274

Even the NY Times seemed to ignore this rally. Saw lots of photographers, but found no reports. (Too peaceful, I guess).

I did read that nationwide, things were not as peaceful in the Peoples Republic of California and Omaha, of all places. Were the aggressors plants? Were they really Trump supporters?

“Violence erupted at a “Make America Great Again” rally in California. (and) more than 1,500 miles away, counter-protesters also caused chaos at a Trump rally in Omaha. The ruckus did not disrupt the rally, but it saddened some of the Trump supporters. “Today was a perfect example of how divided we have all gotten,” said Shayla McShannon, 36.”

Still, NYC was TAME in comparison. But, whether a fight with fists or a battle for a FREE Press. A battle for the TRUTH vs propaganda is a seriously important pursuit. I left the Peoples Protest. Heading to the U.N Trump supporters with this thought,

Holding a large American flag, saying the pledge of allegiance. These are not hallmark of a hanging-on-the-Left crowd. Yet they do manage to deliver the photo-ops the media enjoys. Winning? In some circles. With the help of that Free Press, can they sucker the public in to thinking this is the NEW America?

Red Bill de Blasio’s Snowflake Town Hall vs Step Down de Blasio Commies

March 15, 2017 – 7 PM – First rule of politics (that Repubs seem to have neglected) Never attend a Town Hall meeting you can’t control. That’s what Comrade de Blasio did with great aplomb.

The NYPD, the NYC Council members, the local progs, who remain loyal to the mayor, packed the meeting with loyalists who understood they were there to  make nice with the mayor, or else.

Even the so-called “hard questions” were asked with respectful voices. No shouting. No screaming. No chanting. No signs (nothing like that was permitted). No Way. No How.

Not possible since entry to the school was security intensive. Everything was scanned, purses dumped (my wallet – DUMPED); back packs, camera gear groped, dumped and prodded. No signs would be snuck in- if they even tried- not gonna get past that security. (for s few more pictures see slide show)

Listened to the town hall meeting for about 90 minutes, of a three hour marathon, with nary a spark of discontent.  The Mayor and Councilman Johnson offered the usual FRIENDLY soc/commie/prog responses to a very receptive crowd.

Stuck-on-stupid for almost every question or complaint, the most recycled solution was, “We need MORE Progressive Democrats in Albany to get rid of Trump.”

Manhattan. NYC. A hot bed of soc/commie PROGRESSIVE politicians who stay in office til they die. New York has no brain. No heart. Just empty tills that must be refilled with higher and higher taxes. Yep. That’s the ticket to a workers party paradise. (playlist of videos has excerpts of many of the talking points and answers)

Three hours of platitudes and get rid of Trump promises. “We feel your pain. November 8th was a nightmare. We can fix it if we try. We are HERE FOR YOU!”

See two more videos of the mayor on Muslim school holidays…

And Sanctuary Cities are MORE safe.

So, where were the disenchanted heavy hitters? Those fellow-travelers who often demand that Comrade Mayor de Blasio step-down. I’ve heard them. Seen them. Guess inquiring minds were checked-at-the-door.

Next day, March 16, 2017, FOUND the DUMP Blaz Commies outside City Hall. There they were, ready to excoriate all things de Blasio.

The malcontents were baaack! And not just for Chinatown and the LES (Lower East Side).

This was a CITYWIDE Alliance to Dump de Blasio NOW!

Their press release said a people-of-color consortium lead this protest. They gathered (AGAIN) with the same complaints heard on Jan 16, followed by “Mayor de Blasio must STEP DOWN!”

Blaz, the racist, is as BAD AS TRUMP!

Mayor de Blasio, “gentrifier-in-chief,” has designated NYC a “sanctuary city” in an effort to protect immigrants from racist and xenophobic Trump Executive Orders. For many NYC immigrants, however, our communities are under siege as we live in the instability and crisis as a result of the Mayor’s own rezoning policy that is displacing us from the very places that we seek refuge.

A list of  speakers outside City Hall:

Heard three of the speakers before I had to leave:

What a difference a day makes. These soc/commie/progs are not the friendlies from the night before.

While Trump pushes people out of the country, de Blasio pushes people out of their homes and neighborhoods, all to benefit his political aspirations and ultra-rich developers. They are two sides of the same coin: both destroy immigrant families and communities of color.

We say no more to racism and displacement! Join us to demand Mayor de Blasio step down!

There was a list of demands:

1) End racism in city planning. Pass community-based “People First” plans like the Chinatown Working Group rezoning plan.

2) End public funding for luxury development, such as 421-a. Instead; use public resources to preserve and build more permanent low-income housing.

3) Stop privatization of public land and assets.

4) Mayor de Blasio and those in City Council who also collude with developers, step down.

Displacement. Selling blocks of real estate apartments – in lower economic communities – to build higher and higher 65 story replacements. They want the displacement to stop. The graft and payments to stop. (Are you listening NOW, Mr. Mayor?)

Seems ol’ Red Bill’s a bit soiled and his fellow soc/commie/progs are not happy that this “Progressive” Mayor remains in office.

Step Down de Blasio!” The real estate developers are displacing NYC residents. (With the mayor’s blessing.) Racist Rezoning is destroying immigrant families. That’s why “Bill de Blasio must go!”  Now.

They do eat their own …. Don’t they…

CUNY Student Walkout For Sanctuary Campuses – NYC

Dec. 1, 2016- 1 pm – A “National Day of Action for Sanctuary Campuses”. “No Borders. NO Nations

A Student Walk-Out Day, in support of the Sanctuary Movement, hosted by a small group of Anthropology Students from the CUNY Grad Center, as well as members of  the Freedom Socialist Party [info came compliments of Facebook]comments-4-copy

Their battle cry: “He Says Go Back, We say Fight Back” Along with the usual chants there was a new one, “Don’t film Fascists!

They never expect any opposition like he PRO-ICE patriots.Enjoyed, in particular, the in-your-face sign, “YOU LOST”.

Outraged by Trump’s promise to end protections and assistance for ILLEGAL migrants, the student marchers made a last minute decision to organize a walk-out. Once in midtown, they intended to present a petition to the CUNY admins at 205 E. 42 st. (CUNY Central). However, someone changed their collective minds. No petition today, just the march to Trump Tower.

I had seen enough of these anarchistic Freedom Socialist dabblers.

Why bother to follow them to Trump Tower. Nothing New here Just the Same ol’, Same ol’….

I leave you with a few more signs – here – in the Slideshow
