OUTRAGE! Trump Travel Ban Upheld Fascist Left, Muslims Protest “Racist TRUMP”

Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Foley Square. NYC. 6 PM. A day of  OUTRAGE ! as the U.S. Supreme Court voted 5-4 to uphold the Trump administration’s travel ban, which blocks immigrants from several Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S.

“The presidential order proclaiming the travel ban, which took effect in December after two broader iterations were blocked by lower courts, applies with varying degrees of severity to seven countries — five with Muslim majorities : Libya, Iran, Somalia, Syria and Yemen — plus North Korea and Venezuela.”NY Times

The Soc/Commie/Prog/Lib/Facisti burst upon Foley Square. Muslims, the naive Left and Communist led unions fed the eager media with the usual agitprop that anything Republican and/or Trump is of the DEVIL.

Front Page Mag addresses their partisan lies: “We are all immigrants’ is a half-truth at best, and a banal historical fact that doesn’t distinguish between legal and illegal immigration, a bipartisan bad habit meant to distract voters from the failures of our indiscriminate immigration laws and policies.

Correcting these dysfunctions caused by our porous border is a separate issue from how we decide whom we should allow in through a legal process.”

“Hundreds (of ignorati ) gathered in Foley Square, in New York City, to protest the decision [… ] SCOTUS voted to uphold President Trump’s third travel ban on predominantly Muslim countries, writing that the president has the right to “suspend entry of aliens into the United States.

OUTRAGE as the Workers Unite!

A few speakers acted surprised at how quickly this protest came together. Point of fact: this protest was On-Call, waiting for the Supreme court ruling.

Once the decision was in. The protest was ON.

Hundreds of the Hard Left gathered “in love, not hate”. The loving sign below translated, “Trump you are asshole”.

When it comes to the unions, they too opposed all things Trump.

“The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Trump’s racist Muslim Ban, so it is time to take to the streets.  Please join us in Foley Square at 6PM to say #NoMuslimBanEver. It’s crucial that we (the unions) have a visible, strong presence across the country of people who care about Muslim and refugee communities and oppose Trump’s White Nationalist agenda.

Saw ex- NYC Councilman, Robert Jackson, who at a previous NYC Muslim Day Parade, proclaimed Harlem to be the New Mecca. Jackson joined the crowd – unnoticed- except for his very BOLD t-shirt, “Many talk the talk, Robert Jackson walks, the walk.” Guess he’s still running for office.

Video: Linda Sarsour spoke, OF COURSE.

TEXT: Sarsour chants: “Whose Street. (crowd responds) Our Street.”

“Sisters and Brothers, I’m here today as a proud New Yorker and an unapologetic Muslim. (cheers) I don’t give a damn who’s sitting in the Supreme Court, I know that this country is open to ALL people and MUSLIMS were here before this country was called the United States of America. (cheers) I don’t give a damn what the Supreme Court says is legal, because they said slavery was legal; segregation was legal; the internment of Japanese-Americans was legal. Just because something is deemed legal does not make it moral or just. (huge cheers) This administration has made it a policy to separate black and brown families. Whether it be on our Southern border or through the illegal, unconstitutional Muslim-ban, they are breaking up the fabrics of our communities.

Just last night I was at La Guardia airport  and I recorded CHILDREN, kidnapped in the night from Texas (who were BORN here) to be put in shelters and to potentially the foster care and never reunited with their families. (crowd JEERS)  I don’t wanta know who you would have been at the time of Japanese internment, or at the time when we refused Jewish refugees, or at the time when we deported over two million Mexico (sic); when the border never crossed them. Right? The border never crossed them, we crossed their country.

Who would you have been at the time of the civil rights movement. I’m asking you, “Who are you right now?” (odd cheers) If it is not clear to you, it is VERY clear to me.

This administration has a White, Nationalist, Supremacist agenda and they are implementing point after point.

The Resistance has momentum. But the bottom line is that they are winning. And every day they keep their promises to their base, who oppose our values and principles and OUR intentions of democracy, and equality and diversity in these United States of America.[2:40]

So, I’m telling you today: Wake Up! WE ARE LIVING UNDER FASCISM. This is Fascism! (cheers)

I don’t believe that we will liberate our communities though the ballot-box. But, what I do believe is that we can stop the hemorrhaging 0n (sic) our communities. That we can stop the bleeding and create some checks and balances. So, I’m asking you to continue to show up and show public dissent, cause dissent is the HIGHEST form of patriotism. (huge cheers) Show up. Show up. Show up  cause we are NOT tired and we will NEVER be tired; and continue to fight for justice for our beloved communities.

I also want you to take yourselves to the polls. (cheers)  Sisters and Brothers, no more self-righteous (?  apologies)[3:42] There are communities that are suffering because  we can’t pass ONE BILL through this congress. Congress has an opportunity to act, and I’m telling you, there’s a lot of people on the roster.

Go to those polls. Put forth your principles and values and let’s show them what we’re made of. Because, it’s not that we need to win, we HAVE to win! We MUST win! People are counting on us every day. (cheers) [4:08]

You can always count. on. me. To stand with any community who demands justice. And I do not care about the consequences of what it means to stand up for justice, just like our  ancestors before us, they didn’t care. They went to jail. They were spied on by the U.S. government. They were vilified in the media. But, all of that doesn’t matter because OUR communities are worth it. Our children are worth it. Our families are worth it. (cheers)

Stay loud. Stay consistent. They are counting on you getting tired. They’re (?) [4:57] on you saying this is  how it is. We have no power.

Sisters and Brothers, we have power. They are afraid of our power and it’s time for you to SHOW that power. (cheers begin and carry on as she continues)Take yourself to the polls. Continue to build (faith?) [5:13] Support immigrant and black life organizations and let’s show this administration what we are made of. (HUGE cheers)” [5:20]

Anti-Violence Project (AVP) poster welcoming illegals.

Debbie Almontaser spoke. Debbie was the leader of what she claims was the largest Yemini -American bodega strike, and lest we forget, the infamous Intifada NYC T-Shirt made by the young women in a Yemini -Amer org)

As she spoke to the adoring crowd, Almontaser held her granddaughter Sophie, a second generation American.

In the video, I caught the end of her speech as she mentions her grand-daughter’s sticker, “Nobody is Illegal“.  (21:26)

Almontaser TEXT: (she loves her sticker) “Even Sophie gets it. If the Supreme Court didn’t get it, Sophie got it and we all got it out here. We all got it out here. And so I thank you my sisters and brothers. Do not despair. Get ready. Get the pair of nicest comfortable shoes you have, because we are going to be out every day, every week, every month and every year until we get this administration out of office. (cheers) I am making one promise, and I know that the Yemini-American community will help in delivering this, we are going to register every Yemini-American member in the United States and in New York City to make sure that we get this President out. (big cheers) And so I wanta end with one special chant that my Yemini-American community loves. (to the crowd) Where are you Yemini-Americans, raise your voice. (cheers) Where are you? The one chant that they love most, and that is U.S.A. When I first heard it at the bodega strike, I was like,”What kind of chant is this?” And then, when they explained to me what it meant, they are RECLAIMING their land. Because they have worked, and they are part of the American fabric and each and every one of us is a part of the American fabric, and Trump will NOT dictate who this America is.  Cause WE are. (cheers)

Letitia “Tish” James (NYC Public Advocate) has shown repeated disrespect for our country – and our laws-  in speech after speech that I have witnessed and recorded.

Yet, she’s favored to be the next New York ATTORNEY GENERAL … with allegiances to her Working Families Party (aka Commies). Please. NO.

“Tish” tweeted later: [https://twitter.com/TishJames] “I need your help in the fight against Donald Trump and his attacks on the rights of all New Yorkers – will you join my historic campaign for Attorney General today and chip in with a small donation? Every $ counts bit.ly/2tvfUav”

Text Letitia’s speech: Say it loud, say it clear, immigrants are welcome here. (crowd repeats) This ban will not make us any safer. This ban will only hurt us. This ban, unfortunately, will impact our standing globally. And so this decision was nothing more than a racist decision. A decision that, unfortunately, is gonna continue to promulgate and promote discrimination in our nation. This is NOT who we are! (cheers, applause and “whoos”) And so we want to say to all of you, that it’s critically important that we all understand that this was a result of the fact that they STOLE the Supreme Court seat. (crowd uproar) An illegitimate President and an illegitimate member of the Supreme Court, PERIOD. (crowd applause) And so it’s important that all of us, all of us be involved in the electoral process and that we take back our government, our country for those who believe that there are those who, unfortunately, want to separate us. It’s really critically important that we rise and we stand together and that we use our voices and that ALL of us come together and recognize that this is not America. And that this decision is inconsistent with our values and our principles AND with our constitution. So we gotta stand tall today and let the country know, the world know, that WE believe in a country where our borders are open. And that we welcome all individuals … (cheers, applause) and diversity is our strength and  not a liability. (cheers, applause continues) And we wanta show the occupants, the residents at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue .… (crowd starts boos) BOO…. that Muslims aren’t the problem. What is the problem? HATE is the problem. And we want to send the message of love and compassion. And we want to send a message that this Do-Nothing Republican-led Congress, they need to get steel in their backs, they need to stand up and make sure we have an immigration policy in this country that welcomes all and that understands and appreciates our values. And so I say to you today, don’t give up, don’t be (sic) don’t get despair, don’t despair. We’ve gotta come together as we did today, as we stand together after this ban. [[and we’ve gotta show individuals that we will stand with Muslims, with immigrants, and we will stand with Americans to defend our values and our principles….. let’s continue to raise our voices. No Justice, No Peace (crowd repeats chant)

At the end of the Letitia clip, a Leftard Safety Patrol female attempted to control, aka censor, Univision 41 as they prepared to film the counter-protest.

She repeated (referring to the counter protestors) “ … they don’t represent us … we are asking that you focus over there.”

The Univision reporter stood his ground as he gestured to both groups and then … despite her “plea”  … proceeded to interview the counter-protestors.

As I left crowd behind, I passed a public trash can already sporting the tossed meme of the day (AND some predictable reading material illuminating their intentions). Patriotism was NOT their meme …. of the day.

Raise Your Voice, No Muslim Ban Ever Prayer Vigil NYC

“Raise Your Voice” Prayer Vigil in Foley Square – October 15, 2017 – 6 pm (The JDL was there too – in SUPPORT of travel RESTRICTIONS)

“On October 18th, the newest Muslim Ban will fully go into effect. Our coalition is mobilizing supporters to go to Washington that same day, but we’re also organizing for candlelight vigil the weekend before. As this administration continues to exclude thousands of people with discriminatory policy, we stand up and fight back… to show the world that New Yorkers stand with our brothers and sisters affected by the Muslim Ban! #NoMuslimBanEver”

This event began with Debbie Almontaser (Intifada NYC T shirt) as she announced the Maghreb Prayer, with a look at the crowd and the JDL protestors;  then an excerpt of the Maghreb prayer. (video 1)

After the Maghreb prayer Almontaser introduced the groups, many progressive Jewish Groups, that supported the march, rally, prayer vigil.

FYI- The Facebook info-link for the Wednesday – October 18 – No Muslim Ban March and Rally in DC

#NoMuslimBanEver Campaign, was a grassroots awareness and mobilization effort that “happened” in the weeks leading up to and on October 18, 2017, when the newest “Muslim Ban” went into effect.

Dr. Almontaser is currently President of The Board Of Directors of the Muslim Community Network. The Muslim Community Network identifies and cultivates the leadership skills of all Americans to fully participate in the social landscape.

” MCN’s strategies include creating strong relationships with other faith-based communities; articulating and advancing an understanding of the need for citizen engagement; developing the skills and ability of our community to affect change; and building the next generation’s identity and capacity as leaders.

  • Social Justice Framework – We use a social justice framework to encourage engagement in addressing the root causes of inequality.
  • Inclusion, Unity, and Diversity – We work with all of New York’s diverse Muslim and non-Muslim communities. We value diverse leadership and voices.  We seek to facilitate the emergence of a Muslim identity that transcends generational, ethnic, gender, racial and class-based boundaries.
  • Mutual Consultation – We believe in mutual consultation as a decision making process which works to build consensus and cooperation among diverse opinions, identities and experiences.
  • Self Determination  — We create spaces for all New Yorkers to engage one another and take an active role in their society. Rather than attempt to represent all Muslims or New Yorkers, we prefer to bring people to the table to represent themselves.
  • Empowerment – We facilitate individual and community empowerment by providing spaces for reflection and consciousness-raising within the Muslim community, which develops the confidence and self-reliance necessary for the realization of power.
  • Partnership – We value partnership as a means of effectively expanding the ways in which we can serve multiple communities through multiple methods.
  • Creating Connections – We do not seek to reinvent the wheel, but rather to connect those with experience and expertise to audiences that can benefit from their teachings.

We believe that social justice is both a goal and a process. We also believe in supporting the Muslim community to not just actively work to assure its own civil rights, but the rights of other groups as well. We believe in cultivating cross-generational leadership which will serve as a foundation for the building truly inclusive communities.”

“We Will Not Be Banned: The Broken Promise of Equal Justice” Hosted by CAIR-New York

July 4, 2017 – NOON- Fifth Floor Atrium-  #TakeTrumpTower

“We Will Not Be Banned: The broken promise of equal justice” Hosted by CAIR-New York

“CAIR is America’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. Its mission is to protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.”

Speakers and partners included NY Day of Remembrance Committee, Jewish social justice contingent (Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, Jews Say No!, Jewish Voice for Peace) NY Civil Liberties Union, LatinoJustice, and T’ruah.

On July 4th, 2017 (Noon)  CAIR-NY sponsored a presser; a Muslim-led teach-in and rally in the Fifth Floor Atrium- a public space – in what they described as the “hideous” Trump Tower. (though later they chanted “Whose tower, OUR Tower”)

They claim, the purpose of the presser was to highlight how the United States has repeatedly broken her founding promises and (they claim) targeted groups on the basis of race, religion, or ideology.

The speakers insisted their communities have historically been targeted – from the U.S.’s internment of Americans of Japanese descent, to U.S.’s treatment of Puerto Rico, to President Trump’s Muslim Ban. So, CAIR-NY and their (social justice) partners used this day to reaffirm their commitment to that most “basic American tenet, “ALL are created equal“.

America’s 241st Independence Day, was marred by these protestors who claimed that President Trump stands in a long line of American leaders who sought political power by marginalizing and demonizing minority groups.

AS NOON approached, I arrived – looking for protestors.

11:55 I see barricades but no protestors; just empty pens. Odd. Then I saw ONE – no two – women in front of the doors to the tower.

That, too, was odd; verboten, actually, since a previous Trump Tower protest (on Aug 31, 2016) that BLOCKED entry to the Tower created more crowd control at the entrance.

Guess things have relaxed with time. And THEN I remembered, there is a Fifth Floor Public Space in the Tower.

” … part of an agreement Trump made in the 1970s […] an agreement in which a developer receives special permissions from the city in exchange for the inclusion … of spaces open to the general public.

The Lefties have protested there previously, testing the “public space right-to-assemble.”  SO, once I actually READ the sign the women were holding,   DIRECTIONS to the Fifth Floor Presser, I headed inside.

Went through security, bags, camera screened. Rode the elevator to the Fifth Floor with the Fox5 cameraman AND the very friendly, Albert Fox Cahn, CAIR–NY’s Legal Director! Then,  VOILA – the atrium …

The protestors have gathered here for CAIR’s Independence Day Presser.

Familiar faces, too, like Donna Nevel (Jewish Voice For Peace).

Labor Union Rabbi Michael Feinberg (Interfaith Worker Justice) .

Soon, Nevel and Feinberg put out warnings on ME to CAIR’s Mr. Albert Cahn, who seemed to regret his cheery greeting in the elevator. NERVOUS I guess, cause I –  the ENEMY- was in his – CAIR’s – very sacred – PUBLIC – space.

Now, he asked me who was I with. What media. And another person wanted to know if I was a volunteer. Really? Come on, guys, first thing I signed-in as media. ALL are WELCOME here, right?

All proceeded normally, so it seemed, with cameras in place; waiting for the speakers. (2 pictures David Moriya )

Video: Then the MC made his welcoming speech. All was calm.

However, as soon as the first refugee speaker (Poor William) began (all would be refugee/emigres sharing their stories) the JDL counter-protest began, too.

Turning ALL of their Alinsky-tactics back at them, the JDL caused palpitations amongst the Lefties who “discreetly” scrambled with their signs and banners to cover up the very mobile  JDL flag and a Blue Line Flag.

The first actual speaker was “Poor William from Iran”. He spoke calmly and succinctly about why he fled Iran (he’s Jewish) and his uncertain status in the U.S.  While  in the back ground, the JDL flag was very busy.

VIDEO – William from Iran

The Blue Line Flag stayed put in one corner, not easy to see, but that did not deter the Lefties. They seemed MORE upset by this flag. (So much for grateful patriotism.) Of of course – President TRUMP.

I stayed. Covered all the speakers. And SO DID THE JDL. They stayed, too. Heard later that the CAIR hosts asked the police to remove the “INTERLOPERS”. But, this was met with a  firm, NO. Public Space. (Right Back atcha, CAIR!) Which then accounts for the nice little speech the MC made mid-presser.

“Let’s keep our eyes up here- at the podium. Ignore the  protestors. They have a right to be here. This is America. but, let’s focus on why we are here.”

Leaving the atrium, I was surprised to see educator, Debbie Almontaser.

Almontaser – of the infamous Khalil Gibran Public School Madrassa and Intifada NYC T-shirt. (Picture/link 2007)

Currently, Dr. Almontaser sits on Public Advocate Tish JamesJewish, Muslim, and Sikh Task Force to Combat Hate. Almontaser’s first step when leading a session she creates a community agreement about how to interact during the session. For example:

Approach others with respect
Withhold judgment
Don’t make identity-based assumptions
“Listen to learn”; use “generous listening”
Accept differences
Be aware of privilege and intersectionality
Assume good intentions
Don’t take it personally if someone says you’ve said something offensive

Debbie (Almontaser) was having fun sharing some very animated selfies.

The Green Hat fake legal team – standing at the door – looking lost  next to real police

And Patriots who had been in the back were now at the exit, continuing to speak their minds in SUPPORT of Pres. Trump.

As the CAIR Lefties tried to leave – smug with success – they had to walk through the WE WON, YOU LOST Patriots! Again.  (fun.)

These malcontents who masquerade as patriots, these traitors, who have snookered people like Poor William from Iran; conning them into working with organizations like CAIR (organizations that are committed to deconstructing our government,  America) They do not intend to fade away.

But, WE have met their challenge.

We will not be Silent. We TOO have NOT forgotten. WE WON. YOU LOST.

BUT- all was not over.  As I walked to the subway, about two dozen protesters marched passed me to to Tower’s entrance on Fifth Avenue, yelling anti-fascist chants.

Perhaps  now,  THIS was :

…. til NEXT TIME….

“I am Muslim, Too” Fools and Tools Return to Times Square

I am Muslim, too has returned, proclaiming across Times Square: We Stand With American Muslims!

An I Heart Muslims event organized by the Foundation For Ethnic Understanding — a coalition of religious groups led by record label founder Russell Simmons, Rabbi Marc Schneider (and others)

1486586933833
The crowd was jammed, of course, with all the  UWS (upper west side) and Brooklyn Liberal Jews. Signs advertising their blind obedience with “I am a Jew. Today, I’m a Muslim too’ and  Muslims, of course, filled out the crowd..

Otherwise- the claim by comic, Dean Obeidallah (the Muslim MC) that we were surrounded by a SEA of Brown faces [stretching to 57th st] was GREATLY exaggerated. [See more in Flickr slideshow]

DSC_7770

But, how else would Dean be able to lead with his fake-news punch-line LIE, that Trump’s Florida audience had been a sea of angry white faces filled with HATE. (obviously he didn’t see the black trump supporters in Melbourne, Florida. Sitting proudly behind trump, with signs held prominently towards the cameras.

Screen shot from itv.com

stream_img
BTW- co hosting with Obeidallah was lesbian, Jewish comic, Judy Gold. Her level of ignorance re Islam and its deathly intolerance for homosexuals obviously runs DEEP. Nope. the truth is always inconvenient.

SO – onward  and upward with I am a MUSLIM, Too – Part Two. Starting things out was the comic co-hosts who screamed us into auditory hell, followed by that that great humanitarian, Def jams’ own Russell Simmons.

Simmons gave a speech to be expected,  ‘We are here, unified, because of Donald Trump, so we won’t speak too harshly of him tonight – today. We want to thank him for bringing us together. Middle America’ has been misled. The seeds of hate that were small, and maybe just ignorance, cannot be watered. That hate cannot grow’. Anti-Trump, Pro- Muslim. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Susan Sarandon. The token STAR of the event, gave a DEEP-voiced speech (my god- what happened to her voice) Pro-forma leftist blather as she railed against Trump’s America destroying the constitution and ending with ‘We will fight hatred with love’ and OF COURSE, I am a MUSLIM, too.

Rabbis and pastors – imams, a Sikh, a Buddhist, Episcopal, Presbyterian, Mennonite, Seventh Day Adventist, Baptist and Hindu – all gave short speeches praising Islam.

As did Rabbi Marc Schneier (President Foundation For Ethnic Understanding) who twice in one short speech proclaimed, I am a Muslim, Too , followed by a sequence of Takbirs (Allah is Greater) … [1;13 in the video]

Ashamed of being Americans in what they claim to be an INTOLERANT America.

Local politicians and civil rights advocates, too. Parading their ignorance of Islam’s INTOLERANT history towards Judaism and Christianity, even NOW in the 21st century. No matter what the historically intolerant facts reveal about Islam, they shouted – each one of them – I AM A MUSLIM, TOO.

So, as the pathetic display of naive inclusiveness and good will continued for the cameras, we heard the required Muslim prayers; allahu akbars and takbirs from the stage . (even got the extra treat of some prayers at the side of the stage)

Linda Sarsour
,
Brooklyn-born Palestinian-American activist,  “I am unapologetically Muslim, all day, every day,” she told the cheering crowd. “I am not afraid because fear is a choice; it is not a fact. So today I ask you, in the true grit and spirit of a New Yorker, that you choose courage in the face of fear.”

Sarsour was also touted as one of the proud organizers of the DC Women’s march .
Fist bumping and ONE finger umma pumping Sarsour. The symbolism did not go unnoticed.

Sarsour BTW resurfaced after seeming to be persona non grata at some recent Muslim pressers down town. But, here she was  – front and center –  along with intifada NYC’s Debbie Almontaser.

The media war for the hearts and minds of a naive America, whose desire to Love Muslims (Islam is off the table), this circus was the darling of the media for about 4 hours on Sunday, Feb 19.

A circus that will continue to play across the country, dominating the media.  Enjoyed. Unchallenged.

As long as the Hate Trump machine rolls on, these LOVE fests will continue. Appearing soon at a school, college and artistic venue near you.

The Future is a terrible thing to waste.
