June 29th, 2017 . An Emergency “Town Hall” was called in response to the “Supreme Court Upholds Trump’s Travel Ban”. A ban that would affect 6 terrorist Mid-East countries. They were outraged.
At approximately 6 pm, after listening to a number of speakers, the march to 18th St from Union Square commenced.
“Calling directly impacted communities, organizers, faith leaders, labor organizers, activists and allies for an emergency town hall to .discuss latest move by SCOTUS on the Muslim ban.
Make no mistake: the latest SCOTUS ruling is not a partial victory for affected communities. It’s still a Muslim and refugee ban and we still need to ORGANIZE. We CANNOT normalize this and forget the context in which this Administration operates: they are motivated by fear-mongering, xenophobia and Islamophobia.
This ruling is ambiguous and confusing and will create chaos once its implemented and we need to PUSH BACK. The most disproportionately impacted will be the people who need to immigrate here the most: refugees.
The Event was co-sponsored by: African Communities Together, New York Immigration Coalition, Network Against Islamophobia, CUNY CLEAR as well as MPower Change and Arab American Association of New York .”
I found them by accident at Union Square.
A tight circle of protestors and media clamoring to get pictures and video, particularly of NYC Public Advocate, Leticia James, and (Saint) Linda Sarsour of Brooklyn.
Amongst the many speakers were two well-known advocates for open borders and sanctuary cities (yes- even Sharia Law). What they have to say was predictably offensive, but well worth a listen.
First, Leticia James, NYC Public Advocate (Racist and very RED)
The last speaker, was (Saint) Linda, the Sharia-loving, queen-of-the- night.
Once finished speaking, they marched a couple of blocks to SEIU Union Hall where a couple of Back the Ban protestors greeted them. (a troll hung with them briefly)
Of course, there was much angry shouting right back at them, which abated briefly, and then took off again while the meeting took place upstairs.

The strategy directive as always is GET OUT. PROTEST. HIT THE AIRPORTS, even mentioning Independence Day as a day to protest. Forget the Bar-B-Q’s and parades. Take the day off and protest. Resist!
Valentines Day – NYC – 2017. A coalition led by nyic declared that Feb 14 was a “Day to come together… in love…. We’ve got each others backs. If we fight with love, we will win.”
A Love-Fest co-ordinated by those LOVING anti-Trump, anti-America Leftists.
THEIR goals – an America with no borders, no immigration laws should frighten all Americans. (BUT, it doesn’t.)
Video: Opening speech from (Linette?)
[BTW- sitting on the nyice board– of course – CAIR ‘s own Linda Sarsour, Director Arab-American Association of New York]
As I stood there – surrounded by the couple 100 or so “robots”- swarming the staging area – I wondered, “Would they love me?” Do they, “Love all their neighbors? Or just illegals?”
For moi, anonymity seemed the better course at this time.
Pressed elbow to elbow with SEIU (commies) Working Families Party (Commies), MinKwon (commies), CAIR (FASCISTS) and the many others named in their thank you list and read off at the beginning of this short, VERY short presser. ( video)

Destroying Trump’s America. Yeah. That’s the ticket. So, Let the party begin! (and it did) . See short Flickr slide show:
” a series of speakers voiced their discontent over the ban that blocks entry for all refugees from Syria indefinitely, halts refugees from other countries for 120 days and restricts travel from six additional majority Muslim countries.”
Video – Gale Brewer . President of the New York City Borough of Manhattan.
“We are a cityand country of immigrants,” said Rama Issa-Ibrahim, a lead adviser to the NYC Commission on Human Rights, and herself a Syrian immigrant, “We will not stop fighting for everyone’s rights.”

After the speakers came music and chanting lead by the Rude Mechanical Orchestra AND then – finally- the media noticed these stalwart patriots from NYICE – defending America’s borders and Laws.
“On this Valentine’s Day, we call on New Yorkers to come together to love and protect one another, and stand up for immigrant communities!
Join The New York Immigration Coalition to show your love for and solidarity with our immigrant communities who are under attack.
Our New York is inclusive and we will do everything in our power to fight back against deportations, walls, and bans.”
(They even sent a Valentine to Putin) Spread the LOVE!
“As WE SAY:
-NO to ICE raids and enforcement
-NO to the Muslim and Refugee Ban
-NO to the building of a wall”
i.e. —LAWS? We don’t need no stinkin’ laws.
