Marxists Occupy City Hall, refuse to leave: where’s Mayor “Red Bill”?

The Revolution leading towards a United States of Socialism has many demands. (and loves to curse)
Nurtured in Occupy Villages, that spring up predictably, they :  Appear to be spontaneous. Peaceful. Temporary. Then change your collective minds. Take to the streets from Occupy base camp. Game ON!

Which brings me to the New York Occupy City Hall Encampment. It was suppose to end on June 30th, after the City Council vote to “Defund the NYPD“.

July 1, 2020, there was now no doubt, the anarchists were not leaving. They will never be satisfied.The now claim this autonomous zone to be untouchable.

Once the Occupy City Hall anarchists took over this public space –  on June 23 – it grew quickly. The disaffected youth rushed to be a part of a revolution.

According to their signs, it’s about so much more than just “defunding”.

No matter the issues, hundreds gathered supposedly to support the Black Lives Matter charade. That was enough to keep the fervor at a pitch.

On Friday, June 26, 2020, I dropped by to take a look at the camp site. 10 years after covering Occupy Wall Street, I wandered through this newest village of Marxist occupiers.  Mayor “Red Bill” de Blasio has always been enthralled with Communism  so he encouraged this “peaceful” encampment to take root.

The necessary participants: disaffected twenty somethings. Looking for a life. a family . a community. Creating little towns with libraries, bodegas, first aid stations, gardens and the very necessary “learning circles”where they willingly listen to hours of indoctrination.

And food. there was plenty of FREE food (donated to the collective).

Throw in, camping in squalor: Happy campers.

June 30th arrived and the “village” was no longer temporary, nor peaceful. In the very early morning hours of the 30th, the day of the City Council vote, the defacing of public property ended all pretense.  The police were now dealing with the hard core resistance.

On the 26th, I overheard a speaker in the learning circle , give this outrageous advice: If you have a job, QUIT YER JOB!

This is how to create a generation lost to Marxism. Dependent. Isolated. Cared for by the collective

Without question, they were ready to storm the streets and deface buildings. Mayor “Red Bill” must be so proud (or maybe not)  [link to UPI photo]

“I am Muslim, Too” Fools and Tools Return to Times Square

I am Muslim, too has returned, proclaiming across Times Square: We Stand With American Muslims!


An I Heart Muslims event organized by the Foundation For Ethnic Understanding — a coalition of religious groups led by record label founder Russell Simmons, Rabbi Marc Schneider (and others)

The crowd was jammed, of course, with all the  UWS (upper west side) and Brooklyn Liberal Jews. Signs advertising their blind obedience with “I am a Jew. Today, I’m a Muslim too’ and  Muslims, of course, filled out the crowd..

Otherwise- the claim by comic, Dean Obeidallah (the Muslim MC) that we were surrounded by a SEA of Brown faces [stretching to 57th st] was GREATLY exaggerated. [See more in Flickr slideshow]

But, how else would Dean be able to lead with his fake-news punch-line LIE, that Trump’s Florida audience had been a sea of angry white faces filled with HATE. (obviously he didn’t see the black trump supporters in Melbourne, Florida. Sitting proudly behind trump, with signs held prominently towards the cameras.

BTW- co hosting with Obeidallah was lesbian, Jewish comic, Judy Gold. Her level of ignorance re Islam and its deathly intolerance for homosexuals obviously runs DEEP. Nope. the truth is always inconvenient.

SO – onward  and upward with I am a MUSLIM, Too – Part Two. Starting things out was the comic co-hosts who screamed us into auditory hell, followed by that that great humanitarian, Def jams’ own Russell Simmons.

Simmons gave a speech to be expected,  ‘We are here, unified, because of Donald Trump, so we won’t speak too harshly of him tonight – today. We want to thank him for bringing us together. Middle America’ has been misled. The seeds of hate that were small, and maybe just ignorance, cannot be watered. That hate cannot grow’. Anti-Trump, Pro- Muslim. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Susan Sarandon. The token STAR of the event, gave a DEEP-voiced speech (my god- what happened to her voice) Pro-forma leftist blather as she railed against Trump’s America destroying the constitution and ending with ‘We will fight hatred with love’ and OF COURSE, I am a MUSLIM, too.

Rabbis and pastors – imams, a Sikh, a Buddhist, Episcopal, Presbyterian, Mennonite, Seventh Day Adventist, Baptist and Hindu – all gave short speeches praising Islam.

As did Rabbi Marc Schneier (President Foundation For Ethnic Understanding) who twice in one short speech proclaimed, I am a Muslim, Too , followed by a sequence of Takbirs (Allah is Greater) … [1;13 in the video]

Ashamed of being Americans in what they claim to be an INTOLERANT America.

Local politicians and civil rights advocates, too. Parading their ignorance of Islam’s INTOLERANT history towards Judaism and Christianity, even NOW in the 21st century. No matter what the historically intolerant facts reveal about Islam, they shouted – each one of them – I AM A MUSLIM, TOO.

So, as the pathetic display of naive inclusiveness and good will continued for the cameras, we heard the required Muslim prayers; allahu akbars and takbirs from the stage . (even got the extra treat of some prayers at the side of the stage)


Linda Sarsour, Brooklyn-born Palestinian-American activist,  “I am unapologetically Muslim, all day, every day,” she told the cheering crowd. “I am not afraid because fear is a choice; it is not a fact. So today I ask you, in the true grit and spirit of a New Yorker, that you choose courage in the face of fear.”

Sarsour was also touted as one of the proud organizers of the DC Women’s march .
Fist bumping and ONE finger umma pumping Sarsour. The symbolism did not go unnoticed.

Sarsour BTW resurfaced after seeming to be persona non grata at some recent Muslim pressers down town. But, here she was  – front and center –  along with intifada NYC’s Debbie Almontaser.

The media war for the hearts and minds of a naive America, whose desire to Love Muslims (Islam is off the table), this circus was the darling of the media for about 4 hours on Sunday, Feb 19.

A circus that will continue to play across the country, dominating the media.  Enjoyed. Unchallenged.


As long as the Hate Trump machine rolls on, these LOVE fests will continue. Appearing soon at a school, college and artistic venue near you.

The Future is a terrible thing to waste.

NYC Muslim Parade 2016 “One Umma,For God & Country”

The 31st Annual Muslim Day Parade (Sept. 25, 2016)
“One Umma, For God and Country.”


Nine years ago I first covered this annual Muslim “parade with no audience”
(’cause anyone interested is IN the parade)


Even so, “Takbir’s” and “Allahu Akbar’s”would ring through the air. Block after block. Down Madison Ave

Madison Avenue – from 38th to 26th St-

Starting around 2011, five years ago, a Turkish Muslim Day Street Festival was held just a few blocks west of the of the “26th annual Muslim Day Parade” (at the same time as the Muzzie Parade)  Was this as a mistake of timing? Or a reason for the diminishing parade.

Perhaps it was a red-flag denoting trouble amongst the Muslim factions.  (see Facebook nudge below, “We intend to bring 10,000...) Did NOT happen.

This year’s press conference stressed how difficult it is to be a Muslim – American, maybe they were trying to  explain the missing groups. (Fear? Intimidation?)

Those who came out to celebrate were mostly Indonesian Muslims. I’ve noticed that the Indonesian women are often the ones in niqabs – not just hijabs.

Will the Turk-undertaker, Erhan Yildirim, a respected Community Co-ordinator for the NYPD ( seen on his phone below) be educating the NYPD to fight (or to ignore) Sharia abuse? They’ll probably learn that abuse is the problem, not Islam.

The Puerto Rican Muslim above,  wearing the “fakestinian” scarf, did a lot of talking with the press. Wonder if he would have been so chatty if asked about Sharia vs American Law. 
 (OR is that not a POLITE question?)

Missing were the many colorful multi-ethnic costumes and hijabs BUT, these two  new participants on the sidelines, were peaceful protestors with a serious message.

dsc_2956As for the many Indonesian groups, they added lots of color by  carrying (and wearing)  an abundance of American flags along with their “Peace for All/Justice for All” signs.With so few Muslim schools and masjids marching, this intimate parade was spread out, with huge gaps between groups.

And  LOTS of American flags marching for “One Umma – God and Country”


There was an abundance of  “Peace Roses”  for  people ‘watching’ on the sidelines.

A beautiful child wth a peace rose and Old Glory….  But, FIRST,  BEFORE the parade kicked-off, there was the  zuhr prayer – at 1 pm

Madison Avenue, once again, converted into a very public masjid. (see video)

Then we marched, lead by the NYPD Marching Band (no mounted color guard this year)


NYC Muslim officers  carried  banners for each group. One NYPD banner seemed WAY too religious.  What if that had been a BIBLE instead of a Quran?

The parade marshals I’d seen before, except for this year’s Grand Marshal, Khazir Khan.dsc_3064 Khan is the Pakistani Muslim-American father of United States Army Capt. Humayun Khan, killed in Iraq in 2004 .Khan walked with celeb, Russell Simmons and Imam Shamsi Ali. However, the  politicians did NOT march down Madison Ave.  They joined up at the END of the parade – for photo ops . Like David Weprin (NY State Assemblyman). Wonder why he didn’t march  .

 

 

 

 

Many of the usual political faces were missing: Linda Sarsour (running for office soon, I hear), Debbie Almontaser, Rabbi Michael Feinberg and his Leftie Jewish associates. Councilman Jackson (a Muslim revert) and Marxist loving, Charles Barron.

10,000 in attendance? Not as they marched. (Or prayed)


Nor when they assembled to hear the speakers at the end of the parade (26th St to 25th St )

(BTW- New this year, the merchant booths were in a short block going east on 26th St)

Found an interesting article about  Imam Shamsi Ali, an Indonesian Muslim who, in 2o11,  was”fired” from the the Islamic Cultural Center on 96th Street . Did the parade shrink because of Ali and a religious conflict on how to be a (moderate) Muslim-American?

As usual, there were a couple of non-Muslim factions marching. About 6 people from a multi-faith group of Christians and Jews (Expecting Miracles) With two familiar hard-core lefties who always march for “fakestine”.


Since it’s considered unseemly to conflate Islam (the Religion of “Peace”) with anything negative …  They (and the press) “negate the negative” with  lots of dawah; community and inter-faith outreach with the ubiquitous memes like:  “Muslim-Americans want PEACE.” They support “God and Country.”

The news coverage of the 2016 parade focused on “One Umma, For God and Country…. and a Desire to Show Dedication to God and U.S.”  (As did a couple of speakers) Guess there’s nothing like a Live Rap duet video (from Muslim Day Parade Facebook page) to say “I am a Muslim-American”. Zaki Abdul from East Harlem said he [came out] to show what a large gathering of Muslims looks like. “Muslims generally are people of peace, those people who are really subscribed to Islam according to Islam,” he said. “People should see that.”

Speeches by ILLEGAL migrants, hating on America, were nauseating. (video link at LIVE STREAM) Surrounded by white, Jewish LEFTISTS (Commies) and their spawn: WHITE college-aged anarchists. Fools and Tools. Prodding. Nurturing the ignorati (ILLEGALS) who came to America for (… what …) To Hate? OR…maybe…it was for our Constitutional Freedoms. Freedom of the individual. Freedom of Choice. Free-Market Capitalism.
Never! It is the “Capitalist GREED” that DOOMS them to a life of “poverty. ILLEGAL migrants must be saved by the Commie-led SEIU machine from the slave-wages of GREEDY Capitalists.
2016. Union Square. NYC. was probably the poorest turnout I’ve seen in 10 years. It RAINED (literally) on their parade. Upside down U. S. flags, hung in protest against the American government, faux INEQUITIES as they screamed:  WORKERS UNITE!!
After an rainy hour of obnoxious speeches, pathetic signs and banners, AND the infamously defaced U. S. flags, I left.
The media, of course, stayed. Their raison d’être : obsequious fawning coverage for the anarchists cause they really, really CARE.

NY 1- a love letter to the WORKERS as we meet a few Commies:

Myriam Marques (Committee to Defend DEMOCRACY in Brazil) , Karina Garcia (Party for Socialism & Liberation) “Family being EXPLOITED here just like in the country they left…. an INTERNATIONAL ‘struggle‘”. Shahid Comrade (seriously? that’s his name? –Pakistan USA Freedom Forum), Doris-Elin Salazar (ICE Free NYC),

“Dump Trump” Prayer Protest- Commies & Muzzies – AGAIN (NYC) 12-20-15

December 20, 2015 – NYC- Trump Towers. Fifth Avenue and 56th st. NO TO “RACISM”, “NO TO TRUMP AND HIS MEDIA MEGAPHONE”, “NO TO HATERY.”

As I arrived, I observed a coalition of Prayer-Protesting Muslims and Communist facilitators,  Bill Doares (below) of Workers World
… and their Communist “led and fed” students.
Also, the usual “anti-war” agitators (from multiple groups)
… pro-ILLEGAL trespassers (also members of multiple groups)
and VILE, angry “anti-racist”aka hard-core Black Commie RACISTS gathered outside Trump Towers. (see Kim Ortiz  below , a lead organizer for NYC Shut It Down and Black Lives Matter )
The Muslim protestors said they, too, were there to oppose the “racism” promoted by Trump’s campaign.

The FACT that Islam is not a Race goes unmentioned.

But, since the Muslims billed this as a Prayer Protest, that’s what a small group of Muslims did (for two hours).

While a hard-core group of (atheistic) Commies and militant Muslims shouted slogans and preached hatred against Trump, America, Israel and the police (all of these groups were ANTI-Police) 
But, how about some history: Pre-Islamic history. These Indonesian Muslims were invaded,CONQUERED by the “Sword Of Islam”. Like the Copts of Egypt. The Jews of the Holy Land. The Persian Zoroastrians of Iran. Why don’t the Indonesians DEMAND their history and culture back with shouts of  ISLAM INVADERS GET OUT. Nope. They go silent. (sort of)
At moments like these, all must forget Al Qaeda. The Taliban. The Islamic State. Jihadis. “The Donald” is the focus of their ‘fear’ and anger as they PRAY to their Moon god, Allah, to rid the world of  “That Racist pig – Donald Trump.”
Get WISE. Get Smart. Like this costumed chap who warns we should only FEAR Fox News and that “Shit Stain“, Donald Trump.
Or this guy – with a few CLUMPS of ?? (for sale) Perfect stocking stuffers for Christmas. Just $12 and be on your way! (Whatever) Even the anti-Capitalism Commies do NOT waste a moment to make-a-buck.
The Commies had an interloper. But, never fear,  Commie – thug, Bill Doares, made sure this loud, whistle-blowing purveyor of conflicting messages was NOT in their pen.  A threatening ,“We don’t want you here” is usually Doares’ first line-of-attack. 
The interloper (uninvited) stepped outside the enclosure, cautiously, where he hung around awhile …
…til he decided to whistle-assault the NY ICE protest on the Fifth Avenue side.
Back to 56th Street. Costumes. Pithy signs and LOTS of speakers. Muslim speakers. Commie speakers. Angry Black and “illegal trespasser” speakers. Come one, come all. (not really)
Throughout the  protest, the Commies walked the perimeter; keeping watch over their flocks (like Tony Murphy below). They don’t let just anyone join their protests.Naming just a few that I captured on-the-job:  Sara Flounders, Andy Pollack, Tony Murphy, Imani Henry, Kim Ortiz (of the very angry Black Lives Commie) and the ever scowling, Bill Doares (seen earlier – up top). ANGER . Scowls. de reguerre.
They Orchestrate. “Control and Patrol” the photo-ops. Making sure the media has plenty to record: Anger. Passion… “Humor”…. 
And Prayers. Muslims-in-prayer. Muslims chanting against terrorism. Everyone chanting, parroting, droning …. on and on …. and on.

No photo-ops go unanswered.
Playing to the cameras, the Muslims were eager. Buoyant. Even playful. Unfortunately, as the videos reveal, their accented English made the chants mostly unintelligible.

At 3:30, as I left the festivities, I took one last look at the protest on the 56 st side. The agitated and outraged speakers were still bellowing through their VERY LOUD amplification while the prayer-protest continued on silently.

The actual protest had started at 2 pm. It was still 30 minutes til the 4 march. This unsavory group was going to tie-up lots of the NYPD (to protect them? or to protect the public?). Whatever, these officers are ‘off-patrol’ – not able to keep our city safe – while these anarchists marched to Fox News and CNN.  Unlike the police, I was able to skip the march. It’s the same ol same ol. If you’ve seen one march, you’ve seen them ALL.

NY ICE lead a spirited counter protest on Fifth Avenue, in front of Trump Towers, that was invaded a few times by the Commies from the 56 st street protest.

Easter NYC – 2015 – Fifth Avenue – Pictures

I almost skipped the Easter “Parade” this year. FYI- It’s really a jam-packed promenade from 49 st. and St. Paddy’s Cathedral to about 54th-55th st.
But, the sun was out……Pulling me toward Fifth Avenue… Pulling me toward all the pretty hats.(It’s ALL about The Hats)
And Happy People

On the Avenue… Fifth Avenue… NYC Easter 2015
In the midst of a world weary from terrorism, I am so very glad I hung-out for a couple of hours with so many Happy People.
Of course, all was not flowers and hats. This is NYC, after all. There was this one unfortunate fellow (with a sartorial ‘egg’ from Manhattan College)
He was sitting close by the marionette show.
And, thankfully, some OWS protestors who stood out side St. Patrick’s were gone after about 30 minutes. It just wasn’t the time or place for such a display.
This was much more fun. Their smiles, their joy, was perfect.
