Which made me ever so thankful for the live feed from CPAC. For me, long distance, the high point was President Trump’s speech to a packed house. This made up for his cancellation last year. He’s BACK and he is PRESIDENT. (wow)

Sadly, I missed all my favorite parts of CPAC. The many panels, the speakers in the main room, and the break-out panels as well. It’s always a YUGE three day event.

This was announced as a peaceful demonstration. A rally, not a march (though plenty of Leftards marched up Broadway)
There was a congressional recess on February 20th that aligned with President’s Day. SO, “Let’s rally while our federal representatives are back in town and remind them who they represent.”
But, today was NOT just any Presidents Day.
Officially, the holiday is called Washington’s Birthday, to honor the first American president, George Washington. The date was established by Congress with the Monday Holidays Act, which went into effect in 1971.
But, just say “President Trump” and watch the temper tantrums from the Left begin.

That’s all they needed to “gather like children”, screaming , “Trump is NOT my President.” Pathetic.

– He plans to cut federal funding to our state in an attempt to turn us against our immigrant population, funneling money away from important public institutions.
– He wants to use our tax money to build a wall that no one wants.
– He attacked our Muslim communities and instituted an Islamophobic religious ban.
– He approved a pipeline that threatens to destroy sacred lands.
– His administration opposes a woman’s right to choose and purged the White House website of information pertaining to police brutality and LGBTQ rights.
– His party doesn’t take climate change seriously and undermines our state’s efforts to combat it.
Donald Trump stands against the progress we have worked hard to enact. He does not represent our interests. He was voted in by a minority of the American public but governs as if there’s no resistance. But there is — and on February 20th, we will honor previous presidents by exercising our constitutional right to assemble and peacefully protest everything Donald Trump stands for.

As visitors move around the sculpture, they get a different perspective. Once they arrive at the designated spot, a heart is revealed.”
However, I was on my way to the “I am a Muslim, too” rally. No time to ponder, wander nor wade through those poles. Deciphering this IMMIGRANT friendly ART installation was not high on my bucket list.
Perhaps “We Were Strangers Once, Too” was all too easy to explain, translate, decipher. Smart Art to educate the masses by asking (subliminally of course) ” WHY does that racist Donald TRUMP – POTUS 45- HATE Immigrants?” SO, make your hearts light up by REMEMBERING, in the words of Barack Hussein Obama – POTUS 44 – that, “We Were (ALL) Strangers Once, Too.” (whatever)

The crowd was jammed, of course, with all the UWS (upper west side) and Brooklyn Liberal Jews. Signs advertising their blind obedience with “I am a Jew. Today, I’m a Muslim too’ and Muslims, of course, filled out the crowd..
Otherwise- the claim by comic, Dean Obeidallah (the Muslim MC) that we were surrounded by a SEA of Brown faces [stretching to 57th st] was GREATLY exaggerated. [See more in Flickr slideshow]
But, how else would Dean be able to lead with his fake-news punch-line LIE, that Trump’s Florida audience had been a sea of angry white faces filled with HATE. (obviously he didn’t see the black trump supporters in Melbourne, Florida. Sitting proudly behind trump, with signs held prominently towards the cameras.
BTW- co hosting with Obeidallah was lesbian, Jewish comic, Judy Gold. Her level of ignorance re Islam and its deathly intolerance for homosexuals obviously runs DEEP. Nope. the truth is always inconvenient.

Simmons gave a speech to be expected, ‘We are here, unified, because of Donald Trump, so we won’t speak too harshly of him tonight – today. We want to thank him for bringing us together. Middle America’ has been misled. The seeds of hate that were small, and maybe just ignorance, cannot be watered. That hate cannot grow’. Anti-Trump, Pro- Muslim. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
Susan Sarandon. The token STAR of the event, gave a DEEP-voiced speech (my god- what happened to her voice) Pro-forma leftist blather as she railed against Trump’s America destroying the constitution and ending with ‘We will fight hatred with love’ and OF COURSE, I am a MUSLIM, too.
Rabbis and pastors – imams, a Sikh, a Buddhist, Episcopal, Presbyterian, Mennonite, Seventh Day Adventist, Baptist and Hindu – all gave short speeches praising Islam.
As did Rabbi Marc Schneier (President Foundation For Ethnic Understanding) who twice in one short speech proclaimed, I am a Muslim, Too , followed by a sequence of Takbirs (Allah is Greater) … [1;13 in the video]

Local politicians and civil rights advocates, too. Parading their ignorance of Islam’s INTOLERANT history towards Judaism and Christianity, even NOW in the 21st century. No matter what the historically intolerant facts reveal about Islam, they shouted – each one of them – I AM A MUSLIM, TOO.
So, as the pathetic display of naive inclusiveness and good will continued for the cameras, we heard the required Muslim prayers; allahu akbars and takbirs from the stage . (even got the extra treat of some prayers at the side of the stage)
Linda Sarsour, Brooklyn-born Palestinian-American activist, “I am unapologetically Muslim, all day, every day,” she told the cheering crowd. “I am not afraid because fear is a choice; it is not a fact. So today I ask you, in the true grit and spirit of a New Yorker, that you choose courage in the face of fear.”
Sarsour was also touted as one of the proud organizers of the DC Women’s march .
Fist bumping and ONE finger umma pumping Sarsour. The symbolism did not go unnoticed.
Sarsour BTW resurfaced after seeming to be persona non grata at some recent Muslim pressers down town. But, here she was – front and center – along with intifada NYC’s Debbie Almontaser.

Feb. 5, 2017- Noon – Outside Trump Tower Fifth Avenue. It was cold. It was SUPER BOWL Sunday. But, that did not keep these patriots at home.
Only problem, couldn’t hear or see the speakers. Otherwise, it was a Super Rally on Super Bowl Sunday.
I arrived a few minutes after twelve, and first thing I heard was chanting “refugees are welcome here“. Did the pro-Trump Rally find a way to use the Lefist’s chants — as a hook for the press? Nope. A few LOUD hard-core anti-Trumpers were on hand …. chanting away.
Moving on to the end of this block, between 55th and 56th streets, I was pleased to see the many pro-Trump rally signs. Eager. Happy. Already scoped out by the press. Cameras on tripods ready to film the action.
This was a nice turnout- kudos to the organizers. Visually the signs did not disappoint.
The enthusiasm was infectious.
Someone even brought a Donald Doll to the festivities
At the other end of the rally, the pro-Trumpers ….
…. They had a spirited exchange with the anti-Trumpers and the press, of course, drifted that direction.

On a sunny but chilly Sunday afternoon, supporters of President Trump braved the cool weather and swarms of tourists on Fifth Avenue in front of Trump Tower, to tell the world:

Since President Trump’s inauguration, there have been hundreds of anti-Trump rallies around the country, many of them violent and filled with language not worthy of the gutter. Yesterday, those who believe in democracy and the rule of law said, “enough is enough.” President Trump was elected democratically, according to the laws of our country, and it is time for the entire nation to accept it.
AFSI’s Co-Executive Director, Helen Freedman, was one of the many speakers at the pro-Trump rally. Carrying an Israeli flag, she emphasized that the USA and JerUSAlem are entwined, since USA makes up the middle letters of Israel’s capital city. She also stressed the promises Trump made while campaigning regarding moving the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and keeping a hands-off policy regarding settlement building. The crowd was with her all the way.
Organizers of the pro-Trump Rally said they came to honor President Trump and to show support for the “electoral college process AND to show pride in America.” That they did. Bravo!
By the time they actually started – after much waiting – Washington Square was packed. 5 pm was really just hurry up and WAIT.
We had to wait, chant, and wait some more …. while our Muslim brothers and sisters finished their Maghrib (sunset) prayers. Call a presser to coincide with their prayers; to impress the media with their faithfulness. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Spread the Prayers. Spread the Love….
Finally, Afaf Nasher, Executive Director of CAIR-NY, Muslim. hijabbed and photogenic, began to introduce the speakers.
Missing, BTW, was Linda Sarsour. Muslim. Photogenic. Sarsour led most of these protests as the hijabbed-face of Islam. Groomed for public office, but she seems to have disappeared from the forefront of this diverse and inclusive enclave.
Even so, there was no shortage of local and State government politicians, anti-Trump and in-the-pocket of the pro-Hamas “CAIR Demolition Express” .
The short individual videos of the speakers, throws the spotlight on the outrageously predictable speeches of NYC’s hard-core Marxist politicians. To paraphrase Sun Tzu,another step in the “Know Thy Enemy” loop. We have ignored their agenda for too long.

I arrived, surrounded by scores of eager “fools and tools”, pathetic do-gooders, who RUSHed down the narrow side-streets of Lower Manhattan, signs in hand, faces laughing (and/or passionate).
They were coming to a “Yuge” Immigration protest against “all things TRUMP.” The disaffected youth. Their angry elders. PULLED like the brain-dead Eloi of HG Wells OR … like mindless lemmings- to-the-sea… choose one or all of the above… it was a PARTY!
