At noon on Aug. 27, 2021, outside the United Nations in New York City, Look Ahead America (LAA)and Citizens Against Political Persecution(CAPP) announced they will present a joint letter to the United Nations Human Rights Committee to investigate and demand relief for the Biden Administration’s January 6 political prisoners.
Speaking, Matt Braynard, Executive Director of Look Ahead America and Cara Castronuova, Founder of Citizens Against Political Persecution (CAPP) regarding their Formal Complaint. They are demanding sanctions against key Biden Administration Officials.
From the complaint:
“Today I write in support of basic human rights for a specific group of Americans who have been disparately and inhumanely treated by their government – singled out, imprisoned, and even physically abused – because of their political beliefs. As outlined herein, LAA has sought relief from several members of the United States government, as well as other U.S.-based human rights advocacy groups. We have been largely ignored, and human rights violations continue unabated, with no relief in sight. Those avenues exhausted, and in recognition of the United Nations’ long and prestigious history of human rights advocacy, we ask for your review and consideration of these prisoners’ plight.”
Matt Braynard, Executive Director of Look Ahead America, made the following statement:
“Not only do we urge the United Nations to investigate this abuse of human rights, but we ask that other governments hold US officials to the same standards US officials have held others around the world. Just as the US government has imposed sanctions on foreign leaders whom they allege have fallen short of international norms, we urge government around the world to impose travel restrictions and financial penalties against President Biden, Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and other US government officials who involved in this gross violation of human rights.”
Cara Castronuova, Executive Director of Citizens Against Political Persecution, made the following statement:
“We here at Citizens Against Political Persecution have been fighting for the January 6th detainees for months now. The government continues to unconstitutionally detain our fellow American citizens and we feel that submitting this letter to the United Nations is the next logical step towards justice. Hopefully the United Nations hears our plea, as we are the voices of the unheard political prisoners right now who are not able to speak for themselves.”
December 28, 2016 – Noon – It was a small but vocal gathering, across from the UN. Making their VOICES be HEARD:“U.S .out of UN/UN OUT of NY” and “Stay Strong Israel”
The Jewish Voice NY sponsored this U.N.rally, protesting the historic anti-Israel resolution
Disappointed I wasn’t able to capture a more complete recording of the protest, there were many speakers. Unfortunately, it was impossible to get a good position to film the speakers . The many police officers kept pointing towards the back of the enclosure, which is useless for photographers and video. But, the signs themselves convey the purpose of this rally, speakers and signs, held true …. U.S. the time is now…. Get OUT of the U.N. !
Video
Time to say “buh bye” to the tyrants who hijacked the UN. Let them move back to Europe (or wherever). The building is falling apart anyway and the winds of REAL change are finally HERE. NO MORE BILLIONS should go in the coffers of tyrants. ~ Man up! Move on!~
During his disappointing Middle East foreign policy address on Wednesday, December 28th, Secretary of State John Kerry spewed forth his usual litany of lies and exaggerations while threatening Israel with its very existence if she did not agree to commit suicide by capitulating to the creation of an Arab terrorist state in the Jewish heartland of Judea and Samaria.
As he uttered his didactic rhetoric, a hearty gathering of pro-Israel activists gathered outside the US Mission to the UN, protesting the despicable anti-Israel Security Council resolution passed last week, and strongly condemned Kerry’s pathetic and plaintive cries. The resolution should never have passed, except for the direct intervention of the Obama administration who gave explicit instructions to UN Ambassador Samantha Power to abstain, rather than vetoing it as has been the decades long policy of the US when it comes to Israel at the Security Council.
The rally, (coordinated by David Ben Hooren, publisher of the Jewish Voice as well as Fern Sidman, the editor of the paper), saw speaker after speaker lambast the Obama administration for its abysmal perfidy, while encouraging those gathered to “stand strong, and to stand strong with Israel.” As President-elect Trump recently tweeted, “Stay strong Israel, January 20th is fast approaching!”
Speakers at the rally included renowned Jewish activist and philanthropist Jeff Wiesenfeld, Executive Director of Americans for a Safe Israel, Helen Freedman, longtime Jewish activist and cantorial impresario Charlie Bernhaut, President of JCC Watch Richard Allen, former Congressional candidate Philip Rosenthal, Rabbi Gideon Shloush and prolific author, speaker and Jewish personality, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.
The speakers addressed the following issues:
1) The US should end its funding of the United Nations, and better yet, relocate that bastion of infamy to another country, say, Syria or Angola.
2) The US action in the UN harms not just Israel, but the US itself. There is bipartisan understanding in Congress that Obama’s action to abstain in the UN was a terrible decision, detrimental to the US.
3) More and more people (including Democrats!) are realizing how dangerous Obama has been to the United States, and are finally acknowledging the poor state of affairs he is leaving the country in, for the next president.
4) People are also realizing that the recent and ongoing brouhaha regarding Israel in the UN, and between Israel and the Obama administration, is not just an Israeli or Jewish issue, but one that concerns the country as a whole.
5) How fitting, that the current furor is occurring during the holiday of Chanukah, when Jews celebrate the victory of a small handful – the Maccabees – against the Greeks, and the victory for religious freedom against assimilation.
Nearly 100 sign-waving, chant-shouting protesters crowded the UN as American and Israeli leaders continued to spar over the U.S. delegation’s controversial vote last week on the touchy settlement issue.
“Stop U.S. $ to the United (Arab) Nations,” and “Hussein Obama betrays Israel, protesters condemned Obama and spoke of the incoming president with hope and excitement.
I believe that the steps taken by the president here on his final 30 days in office break historical president, barriers, and present all kinds of problems — not only for the security of our most important ally, that being Israel in the Middle East, but also for potential implications on how it affects us, and our relationship to the region,” said Kevin McCullough, a syndicated writer and talk show host, who spoke at the rally.
“It is impossible to accept what President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry even were talking about this morning with any degree of seriousness. We have not been a good friend to Israel over the last eight years and it is time that we stop kicking them in the teeth at every opportunity.”
NY Jews express their frustration and disagreement with UN Resolution 2334 that calls to halt settlement construction on Palestinian-owned lands. It describes Israeli settlement activity as illegal, and demands that Israel “immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the ‘occupied’ Palestinian territory, including east Jerusalem.”
“I don’t see how anybody who cares about Israel, who cares about their fellow Jews can countenance [the resolution], even if we feel as though the settlement enterprise has been in some ways mistaken.”
Wednesday’s protest took place as Secretary of State John Kerry gave his speech at the Department of State, laying down his vision for peace between Israelis and Palestinians and justifying the administration’s choice to abstain from voting on the anti-settlement resolution passed by the UN’s Security Council.
Demonstrators rallied Wednesday to protest the U.S. delegation’s controversial refusal last week to block a U.N. Security Council vote condemning Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
March 24, 2016. Opposite the United Nations.AFSI (Americans for a Safe Israel)once again held a reading of the Megillah. The familiar Pinocchio balloon, present at so many AFSI rallies and protests, was on call.
But, sadly, ol pinnoch’ seemed to have sprung-a-leak.No mind. All went off as planned with groggers and masks And Larry Domnitch reading the Megillah.
The purpose of the protest this year, in 2016, was “to celebrate the Jewish victory over the evil Haman and to expose today’s Hamans, many who are housed in the UN, or resort to the UN to support their evil plans,” explained AFSI’s executive director, Helen Freedman. Helen referred to the UN as “the United Abominable Nations.
VIDEO of the Megillah reading:
[There is a slight break in the reading. apologies. For the whole AFSI Megillah reading (from 2011) go HERE.]
There were many fine speeches after the reading that focused on the theme to “UNMASK the HAMANS“. Next are some excerpts from the speakers:
Larry Domnitch,
“The UN is enablers [for so many Hamans] who call for the destruction of Israel. We’re going to stand-up today and read the Megillah, with prayer and hope that by NEXT Purim the world will look to Israel and realize that Israel is a truly an alliance of faith.”
Helen Freedman, “… To Keep Iran from promoting their program… Everything is a deception. Today we have to worry about a Nuclear bomb. To worry about Iran. Who do we blame. Unfortunately we can see what Obama has done. We have a failed government that has allowed the genocide of Christians throughout the Middle East and Africa. Simon Deng is here with us today. (from Sudan) He has his own story of torture and deprivation. Going on for years. Nothing has changed. It only gets worse. Syria and Iraq. ALL part of what the Haman is. America is the strongest country in the whole world and we have let the world down. This President won’t even name Islamic Terrorism … It’s a scourge. A sickness. A cancer. Torture. Evil. We have an opportunity, an election, to get the people in to office who will do what’s best for America. What’s best for the Sudan. Israel. Our allies. NOT for our enemies. We each have the opportunity to influence other people…like Esther. Action is what it’s all about. “
Jonathan Grauman, “It’s a wonderful mitzvah that we are all gathered here to hear the Megillah in front of this nefarious anti-Israel institution, the United Nations. By being here, we are sending a message to all the Israel-haters, and Jew-haters, that we will no longer remain silent in light of what transpires behind those walls across the street. Four mitvot, to hear Megillah, to give charity (to those less fortunate), gifts of food to fellow Jews/exchange gifts, gather around the table for food. Custom giving half a schekel, equalizes everybody. The unity of the Jewish Nation. We’re all in this together. No one is better than anybody else. In eyes of G-d we are ALL equal. Sends a powerful message of unity. Helps us commit to our Judaism. Sends a message to those Israel-haters across the street ( and around the world) that we Jews do stick together. We are united with our brothers and friends, we cannot be beaten. So, today, Israel and the Western world in general, all facing unprecedented threats from Islam. No question about it. Not just radical Islam, but basically ISLAM. And standing here in unity, reading and hearing the Megillah, it sends a message that we are UNIFIED and that we are STRONG. And just like in the days of Mordecai and Esther, we shall confront the threats that are facing us and we shall prevail. We shall win.”
Ken Abramowitz, President American Friends of Likud, is on a crusade to save Western Civilization (SavetheWest.com) The Amalekites show up every generation. (Haman and the Amalekites were 2400 years ago.) Who are the Amalekites today? There are FOUR (not just one) and they are not only enemies of the Jews, they are the enemies of the Christians. We are both now fighting for our collective lives. [he color codes his Haman/Amalekites of today)
1. RED – Socialists. Communists. The eliminate G-d and the Government becomes god. 2. BLUE – The United Nations (The enemy of Western Civilization. It doesn’t represent ANY of our values) Taken over by dictatorships and terror organizations. It’s time to close the United Nations in order to save the world. 3. WHITE – Represents the Surrender Flag. Americans who think we have oceans that will protect us from the bad guys. 4. GREEN-Four world wide-terror organizations have promised to take-over Western Civilization. They say, Christians, Jews and Hindus will convert (revert) to ISLAM (or we will kill them).
IRAN. Al Qaeda. causing havoc in Europe. [Unfortunately, as he stated ” any attack on any Christian, Jew or Hindu is an attack on all us”, a woman pressed him to qualify ‘political” Islam – not Islam – He attempts to correlate the Mafia, Italians and Catholics so as to separate Islam from “political” Islam] Muslim Brotherhood and finally, Saudi Arabia. These are the enemies of all of us. Instead of just Jews they are threatening Christians, Hindus and Muslims. We need to unite to save Civilization from the Barbarians.
Glenn Richter, “Spoke of the power of each individual. He mentions the Isaiah Peace Wall. Isaiah was one person against pretty much anybody else in his time, 2500 years ago; railing against corruption in biblical Israel. ( speaking of others) He mentions Ralph Bunche (the obelisk in this location was named in honor him). The Shcharansky Steps used to have a sign for Sakharov Way (examples of the power of the individual) remembering the Shoah. Individuals were able to turn-the-tide. Who fought and fought and fought. How many genocides are perpetrated today and what the individuals can do today to stop these atrocities. Year after year. Decade after decade. Each individual is very important.”
Robert Sidi(Israel Advocacy Calendar) was followed by Charlie Bernhaut
Bernhaut , “Encouraged, reinforced the power of the individual. The power of one person. You have to try. You never who’s listening.“
Judy Kadish,
“The power of one person: Esther. She was afraid to go to the king, like so many people, who are afraid to speak up. But, Esther was warned that her silence did not mean that she would be safe. She or her family. (Likewise) each one of us should never assume that we have enough power or position, or that we are safe. We ALL need to speak out. But, regardless, we should all know that the Jewish people are going to be fine. We have help. Not there pointing to the UN) but up there (pointing up). We now are living in a golden age of Judaism. It is our responsibility to build on that and to treasure it and to keep it going…ad infinitum…”
Video PLAYLIST (includes the reading)
There was a surprise guest, Simon Deng, who had been at the Isaiah Wall, preceding the Megillah reading (handing out a flyer and a 4 page press release)
To reiterate: The purpose of the protest this year, in 2016, was “to celebrate the Jewish victory over the evil Haman and to expose today’s Hamans, many who are housed in the UN, or resort to the UN to support their evil plans,” explained AFSI’s executive director, Helen Freedman.
“We each have the opportunity to influence other people…like Esther. Action is what it’s all about. ”

Thursday – Dec 10, 2015 – #HumanRightsDay NYC . “Stand in Solidarity with Iraqi and Syrian Refugees” – Columbus Circle
Lurking in the background, COMMUNIST and PROUD, the white and mostly Jewish Communist/Soc/Prog facilitators …
From Daniel Greenfield: ‘The Left’s Muslim Replacement Theology for Jews . Muslims are the new Jews; time to get rid of the old Jews.‘
As I arrived – agitprop – screeds – chants – droned on and on to the ubiquitous beat of a drum
It was United Nations “Human Rights Day” held under the statue of that “racist, murdering Christoforo Columbo.
Even Obama was getting slammed by some in the crowd, “Trump Slanders Muslims, Obama Bombs Them”
Their voices rang loud and clear through-out the noisy traffic circle: “Dump Trump “,”There is no Debate, Trump Equals Hate”,”Say it Loud, Say it Clear, Refugees Are Welcome Here”,”From Mexico to Palestine, Border Walls Are A Crime”, etc, ad nauseum.
I spotted almost immediately, one protestor’s sign (Keep Syrians Out) peering confidently above the crowd
Part 1 video – chants as the event was beginning –
More than one angry young woman, mostly Muslimas, indicted the United States as imperialist and racist . The signs below suggests, “Will Trade Refugees For Racists” and “Grief has no Borders”.
,
Another sign held by a Muslima, welcomes us all to the Fourth Reich.
Sign after sign carried on about that “Racist Donald Trump”, Wall Street (and Donald Trump), Migrant workers (and Donald Trump) and the Central Park Five – with a picture of Donald Trump– (whatever)
For an hour and a half this crowd chanted while laughing and making merry, I guess, about the virtues of atheistic Communism. Even so, one Christian Leftie (she seemed to be a Pastor of some sort) managed to carry a pithy Bible sign.
” Mirna Haidar, lead organizer at the Arab American Association of New York, claimed that anti-Muslim comments like Trump’s are about far more than words.
“It’s violence,” argued Haidar (speaking above) a refugee from Lebanon who came to the United States in 2010.
Haidar says she’s frightened by the recent political climate, combined with the rise in hate crimes targeting Muslims … Little did I know that here, I will face fear, xenophobia, Islamophobia, and arabophobia“
“The Most Dangerous Terrorist groups in the USA are the Republicans and Democrats”? But…what about the Isis. Daesh. The Muslim Brotherhood. Al Qaeda!! ” FREEDOM FROM FEAR” proclaims the signs.
Other signs: “Can You Hear the Beating Heart of every Refugee” and “The Jewish Community is United Against Fascism”
While ” on the pedestal-turned-stage, seasoned Syrian activist Hamid Imam led the crowd in chants (“Dump Trump” and “Donald Trump, Listen Here. Refugees are Welcome Here”) He gave an impassioned speech calling for the dismantling of both ISIS and the Assad regime. “The only way to end the suffering is to end the war,” urged Imam, a refugee from ar-Raqqah who now studies social work at Rutgers.”
PART 2 video : [please note at 00:43 and 2:32 the counter protestor holding up a sign “Keep Syrians Out“]
Hussam, a refugee from the besieged Syrian city of Homs who came to New Jersey four months ago, exposed the cowardly racism of the fear-mongers by describing the actual events driving millions of people from their homes. An activist in the movement against the dictator Bashar al-Assad, Hussam talked about the last protest he attended, where the regime fired live ammunition on the crowd.
“I fled the country for my children, to take them away from the killings,” he said to the crowd through a translator. “But we hope to God we will go back.” As Sarah Aziza reported for Bedford and Bowery, after that last comment, many in the crowd shouted back, “Yes, you will!”
Hosam stressed that he considered himself a victim of ISIS, and emphasized that “anyone who thinks ISIS is Islam is very wrong.Islam is a religion of peace. We greet one another by saying, ‘Peace to you.’
Linda Sarsour, executive director of the Arab American Association of New York which co-sponsored the rally , spoke like she was running for office (and those in the know) have no doubt that’s where she’s headed : Elected Office.
“Hate is not going to divide us,”. “People need to be held accountable for this hate speech. These are not just words; they are words that are inspiring actual violence against innocent people who have nothing to do with these terrorist attacks happening.”
Sarsourtold Salon, in the past few weeks, as presidential candidates like Donald Trump and Ben Carson have ramped up their Islamophobic rhetoric and proposed explicitly anti-Muslim policies, there has been a rapid increase in the number of attacks and threats against Muslim Americans.
“We absolutely have to take responsibility for” the refugee crisis. Our flawed foreign policy in the Middle East has created the fertile ground for groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda. We can’t act like we have nothing to do with that.”
Linda Sarsour, the safe face of a ‘moderate’ Islam. Just don’t read or listen to her racist screeds and the electorate can remain blissfully unaware . (Link to her video from multi-faith menorah lighting on Dec 12)
SARSOUR tweeted – “This country right here was built on the backs of black people and immigrants”#HRTRUMPSoppression@lsarsour
America – BAD. (The Donald VERY Bad)
They have the answers – bloviating from every sign:
Another sign : “If you stop bombing and OCCUPYING their countries, there won’t be MILLIONS of refugees…. etc”
Human Rights. The U.N. vs the U.S. Accusations of oppression by those who are the real oppressors. (Not the US) Which begs these final questions, “Who are the actual oppressors? Who is actual purveyor of racism and hatred?”
Pamela Geller asks, “Do Muslims Around the World Really Hate the United States? Yes.”
The hatred of infidels is a religious imperative in Islam. No matter how fast we dance, appease, pay, accommodate, and submit, the hatred and holy war will not cease. On the contrary, the more we submit and reward the hatred and terror, the more we will have to surrender.

NEXT post – a raucous Dump Trump Protest held the next afternoon (Friday Dec 11) at the Plaza hotel.
Conference on “Global Anti-Semitism: A Threat to International Peace and Security”
According to the World Zionist Organization, since the recent Israel-Hamas conflict there has been more than a 400-percent rise in anti-Semitic incidents in Europe. In South America and South Africa, anti-Semitic incidents have spiked 1,200 and 600 percent, respectively. In the U.S., such incidents are up 127 percent.
The conference was co-organized by the UN Permanent Mission of Palau and the Engr Aja Eze Foundation.
Attendance to this historic event was free. The place was packed.
The hall was packed!
On the third floor of the United Nations, just two doors down from the Security Council, more than 500 people gathered on September 8, 2014, for a conference on the rise of anti-Semitism. For some, the location was a touch ironic … it wasn’t the UN that decided to address the threat global anti-Semitism posed to international peace and security… it was the UN Permanent Mission of Palau and the Aja Eze Foundation that sponsored the lunchtime conference.
Energy. Intense. Positive.
Serious. Purposeful. Supportive.
The speakers explained how the rising tide of anti-Semitism, if not stopped, will have a catastrophic effect on the safety and security of the world. A thought-provoking afternoon. Rather than just post a podcast, I decided to post the entire audio with stills that I took during the Conference. I encourage you to listen to each speaker . In Two-Parts (total is 1 hour 45 minutes):Ms. Ugoji Eze Esq, President of the Eng Aja Eze Foundation, a non-profit organization focusing on the rebuilding of societies following conflicts, was the moderator
Please Note: Listing of the time code after each speaker’s name to locate them more easily

H.E. Mr. Ron Prosser- Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations. (4:46 – 17:02) Ambassador Prosor gave a FABULOUS Speech in which he encouraged those present to “speak up against anti-Semitism” and instead of demonizing Israel, to “stand with democratic nations that believe in human rights, tolerance, and freedom” . END PART ONE VIDEO
++ PART TWO – VIDEO
PART TWO VIDEO Begins with Pastor Mario Bramnick, Chief Liaison for Israel and the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference: “The Root Causes of the Current Rise of Global Anti-Semitism”. (00:29 – 13:43 )He said, “ There has never been a meeting on anti-Semitism like this in the halls of the U.N.”
Ms Anne Bayesky, Director Touro Institute on Human Rights: ” The United Nations and Anti-Semitism”. (14:01 – 20:36 ) She made an important point for us ALL to remember, “The perversion of the legal system is how a Holocaust begins.” The final speaker before a short Q and A was Dr. Michael Llorenz, Professor Touro College Graduate School of Business, “Entrepreneurship: A Tool to Social Integration” (20:56 – 35:33) This, too, was a powerful a speech. Dr. Llorenz posted a comment at Algemeiner I felt compelled to share. So eloquent. Passionate. Determined to make a difference. In spite of the United Nations blatant anti-Semitism!
Dear Editors:
Thank you for conveying the message of my speech at the United Nations last Monday. Too often, those of us who Israel stand on the sidelines and wait for someone else to act. Most often, fiery rhetoric substitutes for effective action.
You may know what impelled me to agree to speak and to help with the historic event that we experienced on Monday.
Hashem is not the God of coincidence. These Recommendations I made are part of a larger strategy that I prepared as a response to two questions asked of me at a book signing where a frustrated colleague who knew that I had successfully aided other communities and institutions to address their complex difficulties. “Israel and Jews are in trouble. Why don’t you come up with something to help?” I was surprised as the person walked away. A little later, Dr. Donne Kampel, founder and chair of the Women’s Leadership Council introduced me to the Barrister Ugoji Eze, CEO of the Aja Eze Foundation that produced the program at the United Nations. She asked me what could be done to help Israel and to reduce anti-Semitism in the United States. It was a curiosity that two persons would ask me similar question within perhaps an hour and a half.
This time, I responded. My answer took perhaps twenty minutes inclusive of analysis, alternatives, and recommendations. She then told me she wanted me to speak at an anti-Semitism program that she was going to produce at the United Nations. I smiled, then agreed. Having been for five years the Principal Accredited Representative at the UN of one the largest NGOs in the world and having presented before the Fourth Committee, I was cogently aware of the sentiments of many of the key actors. Hence, I had difficulty imagining such a thing taking place. Yet, who would imagine that that the two of us who earned law degrees from English universities, she of African father and a British Jewish mother, and I, an American of Cuban heritage and some Jewish ancestry, would be blessed with the support of Ambassador Otto of Palau and later be joined by like-minded persons to make this historic program take place. Barrister Eze demonstrated prescient leadership.
Since my speech, I have had numerous requests to help apply practical and substantive ways to address anti-Semitism. I shall do my best to help.
This is a story of Hashem’s people doing His will.
Thank you again.
Michael Llorenz
Lastly, Short Q and A (35: 34 – 45:43) and Final Remarks by Ms. Ugoji Eze Esq. (45:45 -47:40)
END PART TWO VIDEO Final Thoughts:
I had never been to the United Nations. Held no interest for me. But, the seriousness of this conference pulled me in. Very glad I went.Post-Conference:
Had a sandwich in the cafeteria overlooking the East River (Where they CHARGE you 10 cents to use a TRAY)
Took some pictures as I wandered the halls from the third floor to the first. (lots of glitter and gold items that were donated by RICH oil emirates)
And one obnoxious set of panels that greeted the conferees as they exited the third floor elevator on the way to the Global Anti-Semitism Conference (SURELY this was NO accident)
Our exit from the building, after this spectacular conference, was made even more meaningful when these OBNOXIOUS PANELS were turned AWAY from the Exit. Go Team!

The Dangers of Trans-nationalist Samantha Power Representing the US at the UN are NOT to be IGNORED
Under the tyrannical reign of Barrack Hussein Obama, America is rapidly being de-constructed. Obama works 24/7 to diminish the American ‘brand and Samantha Power is one more GIANT Step in the continued pursuit of the DECONSTRUCTION of this once glorious Republic. Power considers the United States to be an Imperialist Beast that must be knocked down, made weak, limp in the eyes of the world ‘s dictators. She is just the person Obama needs to represent HIM in the United Nations
Samantha Power is not now nor will she EVER be a great Patriot as in former UN Ambassador, John Bolton. Bolton’s wisdom and patriotism is already sorely missed but will be even more so if Samantha Power is appointed as United Nations Ambassador from the U.S.
And don’t count on our yellow-media to expose her. It is up to us, AMERICA, to say ENOUGH and to STOP her appointment to the United Nations.
Remember, The Senate has to approve the nomination.
Continue to target Senators, most importantly GOP on Senate Foreign Relations Committee: Mr. Corker, Mr. Risch, Mr. Rubio, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Flake, Mr. McCain, Mr. Barrasso, and Mr. Paul
Use July 4 holiday as a backdrop to draw a sharp distinction between traditional US foreign policy for 237 years and what Power represents!
Senators like Ted Cruz oppose Power for solid reasons of LOGIC.
Samantha Power is one of most extreme radical leftistsin the Obama administration
http://uc4i.org/notopower – Please share this video and this action page. We must demand the Congress says, “No To Power!” – US Congressional Switchboard – (202) 224-3121
Samantha Power is against western interests
She supports the UN having a Standing Army.
She supports the Cairo Declaration on “Human Rights”
Samantha Power supports Sharia Law!

The following message is from Frank Gaffney
Urgent Call to Action
President Obama’s appointment of Samantha Power to be the next US ambassador to the United Nations is an abomination, she is rabidly anti-American, hateful towards Israel, reflexively trans-nationalist and, in short, wholly unsuited to be our representative to an organization in which such traits are already way too much in evidence.
Samantha Power: The Quintessential ‘Blame America First’-er
The following provides full text and quotes from Samantha Power on a variety of subjects to support our position on Samantha Power’s unsuitability for the position of UN Ambassador…
In 2002 interview with Harry Kreisler:
In a ‘Conversations with History’ interview at University of California at Berkeley, Power, responded to a hypothetical question on a scenario in which the U.S. must “install some mechanism” to prevent the possibility of genocide in the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
.
She was asked, “Let me give you a thought experiment…let’s say you were an advisor to the President of the United States, how would you respond to current events there? Would you advise him to put a structure in place to monitor that situation, at least if one party or another [starts] looking like they might be moving toward genocide?”
. This was a excerpt from Power’s response: Power said that her advice to the President would be to 1) “Alienate” the American Jewish community, and indeed all Americans, such as evangelical Christians, who support the state of Israel, because 2) Israeli leaders are “destroying the lives of their own people.” 3) Pour billions of dollars of the taxpayers’ money into “the new state of Palestine”; 4) Stage an American ground invasion of Israel and the Palestinian territories — what else can she mean by a “mammoth protection force” and a “military presence” that will be “imposed” by “external intervention”? — in order to do the exact same thing that she considers the height of arrogance and foolishness in Iraq: an American campaign to remake an Arab society.

The Case Against Her Appointment as US Ambassador to the United Nations.
Samantha Power, President Barack Obama’s choice to fill the position of 28th US Ambassador to the United Nations, has built her reputation as a staunch and vocal advocate for “humanitarian intervention”, particularly where genocide is the likely result of non-intervention. She is the self-styled “genocide chick”.
.
She has been widely criticized, however, for the solutions that she espouses, which have been called “answering a ‘problem from hell’ with a ‘solution from hell.’. She is also widely believed to support an anti-Israel agenda as part of her overall view of a globalized integration of American law and values. This is a view demonstrated by a largely consistent body of statements over more than a decade.
. Power’s Role in the Obama Administration and Intervention in Libya and Syria.
When President Obama led the United States into a coalition of forces against Libya, the person behind that decision was understood to be Samantha Power. The decision was strongly influenced by her doctrine of “Responsibility to Protect” (R2P) that purported to guide the American government on how to prevent genocide. The concept is being promoted to create a new international model based on ‘moral’ criteria, that can be employed in situations where the safety of civilians is at risk.
.
Yet, on the very first night of the coalition’s enforcement of a “no-fly zone” over Libya, US forces rained 1,100 missiles down on Tripoli. It brought death and destruction to an unprecedented level for a “humanitarian” effort, in a nation in which the US had no strategic interest.
.
According to John Podhoretz’s account of the “contentious” meeting at which the President decided to “move on Libya”, it was Power’s concept of R2P and not any concern for our national interest, that influenced the decision.
.
It should be noted that this intervention was in response to Libyan leader Muammar Ghadaffi’s threat of revenge against dissidents. Although there was certainly fighting on the ground in Benghazi and other places, there was no wholesale genocide taking place in Libya at the time the decision to engage was taken.
.
In stark contrast, the Administration has refused, for the last two years, to act openly in Syria, even after tens of thousands of civilians were killed in the rapidly escalating conflict.
Even after we had all known for several months that chemical weapons were now at play in Syria, US policy was to remain publicly uninvolved. Perhaps the concept of “humanitarian intervention” only applies where it is politically expedient and safe.
.
Meanwhile, Samantha Power was appointed head of the do-nothing Atrocities Prevention Board, set up by the President in 2012…
But while the growing list of atrocities being committed against Syrian civilians continued to bring the death toll ever higher, the APB did nothing. It is difficult to understand how Power’s commitment to R2D did not make Syria her most urgent priority.
To date, some 93,000 men, women, and children have died in Syria, according to the latest UN estimates. Yet even today, this “budget neutral” board still has no office, no web site, no phone, no public record of actions it has taken, nor has it issued a single public statement relating to the increasingly desperate plight of Syrian civilians, who themselves are facing genocide at the hands of both the Assad government and the terrorist elements within the opposition.
…. it should give the Senate serious pause as they consider her appointment.
On Israel
The implications of her off-the-cuff remarks suggest that she believes 1) that either side was capable of genocide, 2) that there was a clear moral equivalence between the two leaders, 3) that US support for a Palestinian state should include massive US funding for a Palestinian defense force, at the expense of funds now going to Israel for its own defense, and 4) that Israel was incapable of handling its own affairs vis à vis the Palestinians, and the only solution, therefore, was international intervention in the affairs of a sovereign state.

When concerns arose in 2008 regarding Barack Obama and his views towards Israel it generated wrath from Ms. Power, who was a key foreign policy adviser to candidate Obama. She let loose in a radio interview while in Europe, “So much of it is about: ‘Is he going to be good for the Jews?”
We care too much about whether it is good for the Jews
Sean Hannity isn’t the only conservative commentator who has put in his two cents on Power. Glenn Beck has said:
For anyone who thinks that Samantha Power is just some low level cog in the Washington machine, the New York Times just did a nice profile on her role in the current administration. It turns out that Mrs. Cass Sunstein is probably the most dangerous woman in America, after all.

Urgent Call to Action
REACH OUT TO YOUR SENATORS NOW. The Senate has to approve the nomination WHICHIS SCHEDULED FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 15, 2013
Please send this message to your Senator and forward to your e-mail contacts.
Dear Senator:
As you know, President Obama has declared his intention to nominate Samantha Power to be the next U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations. In light of her low regard for our country, her animus towards one of our most important allies, Israel, and her affinity for those who would diminish our sovereignty and strengthen our adversaries, we consider her to be a wholly unacceptable choice for this sensitive post and urge you to reject this nomination.
Of course, almost since its inception, the United Nations has been dominated by member states, organizations and personalities who share Dr. Power’s sentiments. We do not need to add to their number – especially as the representative of the American people – someone who shares their transnationalist agenda, with all that implies for our interests and freedoms.
That is particularly the case at this moment in history. Freedom-loving nations are under assault – arguably as never before – from totalitarian adversaries, Islamist ideologues, terrorist groups and other enemies. Such foes have found legitimacy and sustenance in the United Nations. And their agendas are routinely adopted as the agendas of this so-called “world body,” rather than ones that are actually in the interest of our country and allies.
Now, more than ever, the United States needs to return to the kind of UN representation it has enjoyed in the past with prominent figures from both parties, like Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Jeanne Kirkpatrick and John Bolton. They loved and admired our nation, exulted in its exceptionalism and courageously defended it against all enemies, foreign and domestic. They were under no illusions about the United Nations and routinely challenged efforts to increase its influence and power at American expense. Samantha Power’s decades-long track record makes clear that she neither embraces these principles nor is disposed to play this important role in advancing them.
We urge you in the strongest of terms to ensure that we are once again represented at the UN by a great American, not someone like Samantha Power who reviles America’s greatness.
