The Metropolitan’s Season will include this Anti-American, Anti-Jewish, Anti-Israel, Pro-Terrorist SNUFF Opera, ” The MURDER of Leon Klinghoffer”
More appropriate title should be. ” The MURDER of Leon Klinghoffer“… Leon Klinghoffer didn’t just die… SHAME ON PETER GELB
Thousands came out to protest the Snuff opera. They gathered on both sides of the Avenue and managed to have a presence on the Plaza as well.
Even though attempts were made to confine the massive gathering to one location across from the opera…the protest peacefully but with determination spread out ( before, during AND AFTER)
The Official Protest ended at 6 PM. but many stayed on with signs and flyers to greet those attending the Opening Night of the opera season.
Demanding this Snuff Opera be removed from the season.
Important questions were asked of the media as well, “WHO is FUNDING this Terrorist Opera?”

Leon Klinghoffer was born a poor Jew from the Lower East Side, a man who invented an electric mini-grill you could also wash in your sink, an early predecessor of the current George Forman Grill. I recall one of these mini-grills in my home as a child in the 1950s. From this, Mr. Klinghoffer was able to create jobs for a number of people in manufacturing and sales and to support his family.

They highjacked the parade’s theme this year. Who’s idea was this?
Workers World-Commie Organizer, Bill Doares, lurked around the ‘pali’truck and then marched in the parade down Madison Ave.
NO Islamic State Black Flag this year. No Green Hamas flags or head bands but PLENTY of the “palestinian” flags, scarves and headbands
Also, a ‘Pali” humanitarian aid float…for the children …
As well as the ‘fakestinian’ float that pulled up LAST in the parade (followed by the garbage truck brigade)
Palis were joined by those ‘peace-loving’ hard-core Marxists: “Jews For Peace/Not In Our Name”. Laughing and smiling as they advocated for the annihilation of Israel.
Side Note:Donna Nevel and her ‘minions‘ did a vaudeville leapfrog back up Madison Avenue every time they reached the end of the parade.
They scurried up Madison more than once so they could RE-ENTER the parade with their anti-Israel signs. Below they are getting ready to jump behind the Egypt/Muslim Bro contingent. Perhaps the police officer is going to ask them what they are doing? (maybe) or not.
Later they talked to reporters ‘on-camera’ pressing on with their anti-American screed: “Stop Killing Civilians” .
THERE WAS OPPOSITION from ONE Brave Muslima at the end of the parade. Offended by the Muslim Bro Rabaa Black Hands that were marching past her. (They put on quite a display)
Guess the Four-Finger Salute’ that shows Solidarity With Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood was too much.She started yelling from the sidewalk.
In the picture below, she was quickly SURROUNDED by the marchers. Getting a picture of the confrontation was blocked.
She spoke up and OUT. Sadly this is not the norm. (SILENCE from the ‘moderates’ is.)
There were a few Christian preachers out in opposition. The guy who was SCREAMING his Christian message at 38th street could have stayed home. (No one was interested in screaming.)
The Christian Preachers who weren’t SHOUTING got lots of interest. The Muslims who stopped, talked to the Christians. Asked questions. Seemed courageous.
(BTW- WHY was the Green-hatted Legal Patrol out this year? WHO needed protection. From WHOM?
Some final observations AFTER THE PARADE. What about the Key Note Speakers and Grand Marshals? Just like the prayers, they got past me ( I was so busy with the ‘guns’)]
The marshals are often NY politicos whom we had NO idea were ‘reverts’ to Islam like “Revert” NYC Councilman Robert Jackson who in a previous year said, “Harlem is the NEW Mecca”
Earlier, I had noticed one fellow, after the SPARSELY attended pre-parade prayers. [blue tarps on Madison Ave as usual). Shaking hands. American Flag bandana.
But, finding a list of the Marshals this year was like hunting ghosts. We knew they were there but NO Names to put faces to. WHY?

There was quite a BOUNCY prayer being sung as I entered the speakers area (much of it is in English)
In CONCLUSION: This was my eighth Muzzie Parade and 2014 was the SMALLEST yet. The prayer tarps were barely filled. (this was as they were walking away)

One boy looked so sturdy as he held his flag blowing in the wind.
I found a post on the parade from a Muslima blogger. She was pleased with what she saw. She had no interest in the complaints of other Muslims.
One of the most interesting moments of the parade was the political demonstrations made to highlight US support of Egypt’s President Sisi. Three masked men – Obama, Cheney and Kerry, walked in front of “Sisi” whom stood on a rolling chariot holding a whip that he used to strike the pavement. It was quite a sight to see and probably nothing too shocking for the average New Yorker.
We decided to walk along with the short parade, from where I was able to witness the expressions of the spectators watching this demonstration. Some people looked at him in disgust, I heard one muslim woman say “This is disgusting!”, then shortly after 2 women in front of us were complaining that the media does enough to depict Muslims in a violent manner-there was no need to act like this in a parade.
The average New Yorker may not be familiar with politics in Egypt, so we can’t expect everyone passing by to understand the significance of this demonstration- to this person it may seem like something barbaric, but to the Egyptians that have lost their loved ones, their rights, their former President Morsi, whom they elected in a democratic election – it means so much more.

May 17, 2014. The Union/Socialist/Marxist Machine and Teachers were joined by parents and students, as well as a few school bus drivers, at NY’s City Hall to protest Cuomo, Bloomberg, Charter Schools and the “Common Core” curricula.
Odd bed-fellows: Republican parents and Teachers Unions, joined together in opposition to Common Core :
” to support a bill that would delay the administration of a standardized test aligned to the Common Core. Conservative lawmakers also sponsored a bill, co-written by the teachers union, that overturned a State Board of Education policy tying decisions about teacher licenses to student test scores.”
Speeches and signs, however, revealed a very un-Republican animus towards those “Evil Capitalists” on Wall Street…
Seems the Capitalists are to blame for our failed Public Education.

A fundamental Human Right. Quality Education that is not possible in NYC without a Struggle for CHANGE.
They were not disappointed in the election of DeBlasio as Mayor of NYC, but are strongly opposed to Mayoral Control of the Public Schools. And they are very opposed to Charter Schools.

She complains that “the NYC schools have become a pipeline in to our prisons. Too many of our students are being arrested in our schools where they are supposed to be learning. The Israel Day Parade 2014 was superb! The sidelines were full from 53rd to 73rd st.
New York is clearly a city full of Jewish people, religious and non-religious, AND non-Jewish such as moi! All who LOVE Israel! 35,000 people jammed Fifth Avenue.

Back at 58th and 5th Avenue, the usual anti-Israel protestors, Neteuri Karta and their comrades, “progressives” in their own minds, stood with their anti-Israel propaganda signs calling for the annihilation of Israel.
The very happy parade participants, in support of Israel, did not pass quietly by these protestors (small pleasures) Keeping all eyes on the parade. As it should be.

As for the protestors marching IN the parade, I understand the anti-Israel/ BDS supporters were placed early, near the beginning. I’ve seen no pictures of their BDS protest marching. Only signs in Support of Israel.
Perhaps this is a good-thing, that any anti-Israel protestors at the parade are forgotten (at best).
A foolish decision by the UJA Federation , allowing anti-Israel BDSers IN the Israel Day Parade. Baffling.

According to Adalah’s web site, they’ve been showing up outside Zabars… A LOT… There were many familiar (hostile) faces…. These Lib/Prog/Commie/Leftards proudly and regularly protesting anything to do with Israel. This particular day they were on the Upper West Side, preaching their anti-Zionism “to the choir”. And as a friend pointed out, “They look exactly like you think they would. Not to mention Code Pink and SEIU joining in.”

I was not aware of any counter protest to their usual anti-Israel lies and propaganda, but it was the last night of Passover. Most likely this night was chosen for that reason. This way their Anti-Zionist/Anti-Semite protest, sing-along (and lecture) could proceed without an informative opposition to expose them. (Or so they thought)
I missed one counter protestor who informed me that he got off the subway at 79th street and jumped into the middle of thir protest for a couple of minutes. He asked them, “Why they were not Boycotting the Arab/ Muslim beheaders, the abusers of women and young girls and homosexuals?” So Sorry I missed him. Wish I had been there to get that on film!

Part 1- Obnoxious Occupy Wall street type chants and sound bites, lies about “fakestine” and petitions based on those lies and propaganda against Israel and Soda Stream.
Part 2 begins with an obnoxious “Earth Day” aka Commie Day rendition of Beethoven’s 9th. Then these tools chant (flip off the camera ) while passing out flyers and petitions filled with lies and propaganda against Israel and Soda Stream.
Part 3 catches a passer by heckling them and one tiny little lady putting a Leftist through an amusing description of Soda Stream…and then…. she refuses to sign his petition!
“Yesterday, on the last day of Passover, protesters surrounded the doors of Zabar’s—the iconic Upper West Side grocer famous for its knishes and lox—to demand the store stop selling the carbonated beverage maker SodaStream. The roughly 40 protesters, carrying guitars and signs decrying “Apartheid Soda,” represented a coalition of volunteers from Adalah-NY (meaning “justice” in Arabic), Jewish Voice for Peace, and members of the failed initiative to boycott Israeli products at the Park Slope Co-Op.
Some of Zabar’s customers appeared unaffected while others were clearly annoyed at the ruckus. “Go to hell, anti-Semites!” shouted one customer as he left the store, hoisting a SodaStream, an Israeli soda making device made in a factory in Maale Adumin, a suburb of Jerusalem. “You all go to hell!”
Alana Krivo-Kaufman, a representative from Jewish Voices for Peace, says protesters deliberately chose to target Zabar’s for a boycott because it has strong ties to the Jewish community. “Zabar’s is a beloved institution by those of us on the Upper West Side. They have a history of being a community influence,” she said.
But Pam Sporn, a BDS advocate, tried to deny the protest was anti-Israel. “There’s nothing in the BDS call that’s anti-Semitic,” she said, “There’s no hate speech. There’s no accusations at any individual Jewish person. I’m Jewish.” However, she also said her objection to Israel extended beyond the settlements and to the entire state of Israel. “Personally, I have a problem with any state being for any one religion or one group of people,” she said.
“Idiocy,” said Joe Steiner, a customer who said he’s been shopping at Zabar’s for 15 years. “This product is made in the West Bank. If it weren’t for them, those Palestinians would be starving. SodaStream pays them more than Hamas can. It’s good. This is ridiculous.”
Erica Gerson wasn’t shopping at Zabar’s today. But she crossed the street to speak out against the protest. “My understanding is that SodaStream is good for Jewish and non-Jewish relations,” she said, “They pay Jews and non-Jews the same wages. They provide employment. And what could be better than working side by side?”
The protesters “are either crazy, anti-Semitic, or ill-informed,” she said, “If I didn’t own a SodaStream already I’d go in and buy another one.”
Glad to know that Zabars stood up to them. Mr. Zabar did not bother to meet with the protestors because, he said, “I did not think you were worth it”. And one more Zabar’s quote From Kate Harvard’s article, “We sell food. We don’t do politics”
Glad to see this particular protest fall flat ….. perhaps they might add a few bubbles next time… compliments of SodaStream….
