NYC Climate Radicals Demand Climate Justice Now!

On April 23, 2022 , Extinction Rebellion (and other radicals like Rise and Resist) gathered at the 72nd st entrance to Central Park where they prepared to March for Climate Justice in the streets of Manhattan.

CLIMATE is Racist! “The climate and ecological emergency is a trauma inflicted on all beings by white supremacy…  to unlearn embodied, racialized behaviors.

Eco-Warriors Or Climate Change Morons

“WE DECLARE NON-VIOLENT REBELLION AGAINST THE US GOVERNMENT FOR ITS CRIMINAL INACTION ON THE ECOLOGICAL CRISIS”

The entrance to the park was very busy with pedicabs and strollers, not just the climate radicals, even an ambulance attempting to pass as the protestors listened to a few speakers before they “Marched for Science“.

A steady propaganda diet, fed relentlessly for decades in our schools and by the media has filled generations with fear. The Planet is doomed without Climate Justice. Part 2 slide show :

.Video # 1– First, before the climate protestors “Marched for Science”, a short video with lots of chanting:

“What do we want? Justice. If we don’t get it shut it down.” “No more Coal. No more Oil. Keep your (climate) in the soil.”  and of course:  “Hey Hey Ho Ho Climate Change has Got to Go”

And signs. Lots of signs:

Climate Action Now; Fight For Our Future; Dayenu ; Enough with the Climate Conspiracy; Ban Fracking Now; The Climate Crisis is Here” and my personal favorite:”Destroy the Patriarchy, Not the Planet.”

Video 2- Four speakers represented the youthful protestors: High school and college-age. They spoke briefly (excerpted)

Climate Justice IS Political. No more Fossil Fuel infrastructure. No New Jails. Demand Green spaces in our infrastructure.”

March for Science is not just non-partisan, it is political. To live on this earth is to be affected by the climate crisis. To live in this city. This country is to be affected by politics.”

“Demand climate justice for all communities. Demand it now. Science not Silence.”

And of course,  “Show me what democracy looks like. This is what democracy looks like

Video 3 – A very political young man with a very POLITICAL speech, (excerpted) exposing the depth of his hard-core indoctrination:

“I am here to demand a livable future for us all. Administration after administration. Congress after Congress. My entire lifetime we have been promised a livable future and we have been delivered NOTHING. That’s what this movement is about. Our collective energy to demand  Climate Justice.”

Re the midterm elections.  “To decide the balance of Congress. Our Senate. Our House of Rep. It is on us to demand a better future by showing up at the ballot.

We know the climate crisis impacts vulnerable communities, the most intensely. Black. Brown. Indigenous. People of color. LGTBQ. The communities most intensely impacted by climate crisis. Those are the same communities, there are over 400 Bills – across the country to stop those communities from voting. we will not STAND for Voter Suppression. we will not STAND for the demolition of our democracy. We will stand on the streets and DEMAND a BETTER FUTURE.

50 years of empty promises. VOTE so we can ensure a livable planet. This is what democracy looks like.

Video 4 : Melissa from March for Science NYC:

Science is Political “(again) “But it should never be partisan. No matter what party is in power, we should have science evidence policy on the table. We should remain vigilant no matter who is in power. Currently in NY State,  3 Democrat leaders who claim to Follow the Science. It has not been enough. We need to know our worth and to ask for more. To ask for more climate action now. We are experiencing not just climate change, but a climate crisis. And we need to act like it. We need bold and consistent action to save our planet and our species.

We cannot play politics with our environment; we need bold and consistent action to reverse climate change. This year at the Federal level, with the mid-term elections, to vote, hold accountable, get things passed like the Build Back Better Bill and the Voting Rights Act, which together will us fight Climate Change. We need climate action now, not in five years.

[lastly] …  cut back on our emissions from our fossil fuel buildings. This is critical. 70% of fossil fuels emissions from the city come from our buildings. We are one of the biggest polluters in the country. Hold all leaders accountable no matter what party they are in; no matter how much they try to distract us mediocre and symbolic actions. We will not be appeased. We know our worth. the worth of our planet.

Video 5 – Jillian is a virologist and mother of two. She mentions pandemic parenting and how the pandemic has intertwined the two.

“In the Spring of 2020, while her colleagues at Mt. Sinai worked round the clock, she was at home with her 3 and 6 yrs old children. Day care and schools were closed, the city was on lock-down. While quarantined and home-schooling her two small children, she was also answering Covid questions from scared friends and family –  fighting the endless disinformation about the pandemic.

She shared that she was grateful for the questions, it meant people actually cared about the data.

After more than two years of this pandemic, I know how easy it is to let cynicism win. Parents are exhausted, particularly of under 5 yrs olds. We faced school closures. had to weigh risks and benefits of sending our un-vaccinated kids to ‘in-person’ schools. It’s been scary and demoralizing.Parents of kids who are too young to be vaccinated feel ignored and betrayed. Masks mandates being dropped while there is still no vaccine approved for kids in their age group. I hear your rage and frustration. Demand change from our political leaders. As adults it is our responsibility to leave the world a better place for our children than we inherited. Finally, Science should be for everyone. I encourage all my …. scientists to break out of the bubble. The most meaningful science in the past two years … it’s been communicating with my friends, my family and my social circle. Those conversations matter.”

Video 6: 14 yrs old student activist named, Theo.   After the crowd chanted “Stand up, Fight Back” Theo told us of a Walk-Out For Covid Safety that he led.  they are upset that Mayor Adams ignored their demands:

K95 masks for all. Covid testing for every student in our socio-economic status. Quality air-filtration in all our schools.  (unclear “…. “) a new generation of scientists to combat any future pandemic we may face’ Today we march and tomorrow you will listen.”

.10th Day of the Rebellion as rebels take midtown

We are heading for catastrophe. This is the type of actions we must take to stop the #ClimateCrisis before it will be to late … …chanting for action on climate change.FOX news; Bryant Park  sit in on the corner of 42nd and 6th Ave. [Extinction Rebellion]

The climate activists tried to stop  N.Y. Post from publishing.

We fight for a just world and stand in solidarity with the struggle for Black Lives. Take action for Black Lives and support radical Black leadership. End white supremacy now.” #BlackLivesMatter

NYC Leftist Teens “Global Climate Strike” 2022 Demand Climate Justice!

On March 25, 2022, a crowd of mostly teens that some estimated to be a thousand- (maybe, maybe not) poured into Foley Sq, after marching across the Brooklyn Bridge. Except for the few Rise And Resist senior citizens (perhaps reliving their youthful activism) peppered amongst the under 21 protestors.

Rabidly committed to the idea that Mother Earth is going to BURN (“I want to die, but not like this“)

these climate activist TEENS demanded elected officials address the climate crisis NOW…. the Climate Clock is ticking….

“What do we want? Climate Justice! When do we want it? Now!”
And “Climate Justice is Racial Justice”!

The Marxist agitprop drummed in their impressionable skulls has made quite an impression; these kids honestly believe they have No Future.

However, in spite of the doom and gloom messages, the prevailing emotion was PARTY-Time. No weeping nor rending of garments was observed from this obedient crowd. Students told to Stand. Stood. Sit. They Sat.

Sadly, these are the Future AOC Marxist/Socialists of America.

From “Fridays for the Future”, Face Book:

More from a Rise and Resist Face book observer: “It was a thrill to be with Rise and Resist as we volunteered to be marshals for Fridays for a Future, a youth-led and organized Global Climate Strike movement that started in August 2018 when 15-year-old Greta Thunberg began a school strike for climate.

Their three demands are:

1. Keep the global temperature rise below 1.5 °C compared to pre-industrial levels. (34.7 F)

2. Ensure climate justice and equity.

3. Listen to the best united science currently available.

…. exuberant young people participated in a powerful march and rally … from Borough Hall to Foley Square. “Our oceans are under attack. What do we do? Stand up fight back.” ACT UP Lives on. Our souls were lifted.”

.VIDEO 1. A crowd of mostly teens poured into Foley Sq. after marching across the Brooklyn Bridge, except for the few Rise and Resist senior citizens peppered amongst the under 21 protestors. Clearly, this is still the TEEN movement of Greta Thunberg.

VIDEO 2 : Obediently, the children SAT DOWN, when ordered, so they could listen to a poet, chants of climate justice is racial justice and to the horrors of the Bklyn pipeline. Clearly, this is still the TEEN movement of Greta Thunberg.

Their knee jerk ignorance …. sadly disturbing.

Actually, it’s  Children’s Theatre for adults – with colorful costumes – and a very unsubtle message. (video 1)

Blue Dinos good/ Red Dinos bad. “Prehistoric creatures demonstrate how everyday people can mitigate a Climate and Ecological Disaster” (video 2 – The Play)

A meteor is going to hit the earth. How to save humanity. “Why is a solution so difficult to find“. (video 3, at 25 seconds, speaker presents solution to intersectional crisis)

In conclusion, it will take a Citizen’s Assembly where the PEOPLE assemble a plan: Power to the People!

Close The Camps, Extinction Rebellion, Trump 2020 clash in Washington Sq

October 10, 2019. Washington Square. As I arrived, I noticed Extinction Rebellion had set up booths for the week of rebellion.

However, this was a 3-part protest; three diverse groups. Are we really BEYOND Politics?

Under the arch, we found the Silent Protest lead by Rise and Resist: “No Raids! Close The Camps.

In the middle, by the fountain, we had the Trump 2020 Patriots SURROUNDED by the usual leftists who hang in Washington Square). It’s all about politics.

Side note, I saw a Sukkot (sukkah) booth being erected during all of this madness, free of any harassment.

Part 1 video – Found the silent vigil for Close the Camps under the arch. Turned to see the the Trump 2020’s flag, surrounded by Washington Square Lefties. As usual, there was profanity from the left as they harassed the buoyant Trumpers. Of course, the leftists did not like the Trump 2020 flag. After some “playful” exchanges, the Bob Avakian REVOLUTION Marxists joined the circle around the Trumpers – and then an electric scooter and skateboards – round and round they went. While the police just watched. No harm. No foul, so the silliness rolled on.

Part 2 video : From the Close the Camps vigil back to the Trump 2020′s. Trump Trump Trump and F-Trump’s back and forth as the anti-Trumper  skateboards jumped into the circle. Then a familiar Black Trumper took on an obnoxious lefty and the black skateboarders with a calm verbal exchange. As always he is solid!

Close the Camps, Trump 2020 and Extinction Rebellion. Lots of activity, but the most disruptive seems to be Extinction Rebellion. While covering the more tame event in Washington Square, I missed their Times Square chaos. [Facebook]

Extinction Rebellion NYC blocked traffic for nearly two hours in Manhattan’s Times Square, resulting in 62 arrests for civil disobedience. A boat dropped in Times Sq. at the intersection of 44th and Broadway. Rebels surrounded the boat and super-glued themselves on, including 16 year old Nathaniel standing on top with his feet glued. We say no more business as usual. This is a CLIMATE EMERGENCY!  [https://www.xrebellion.nyc/]

It seems …. NO good … will come from these climate anarchists. A comment below illuminates the conflicting issues:

Climate change which started as global freezing was an invention of the old Soviet Union. We are seeing a number of damaging things such as political correctness (also a communist invention from the old Frankfurt School in pre WWII Germany) and of course the complete communist takeover of education in both europe and north America. [] [Geller Report]

The Marxists will not relent, as this declaration of  intent makes clear:

“We are going to force the government to act, and if we don’t, if they don’t we will bring them down and create a democracy fit for purpose, and yes, some may die in the process,” the movement’s leader says. This is eco-fascism. “Excuse me?” Watson asks, “At what point did Extinction Rebellion go full Manson Family cult?” [Western Free Press]

Rise and Resist started the day, but the Extinction Rebellion (those Marxist Loons) made the larger imprint. Climate insurrectionists deconstructing our culture. our lives. our world. Silence is not the answer. We too must EDUCATE. Fight Back!

Climate Marxists reveal relentless indoctrination of Student Protestors in NYC

September 20, 2019. Foley Square. NYC. It’s a fact, Climate Strike Marxists have a solid grip on the “Hearts and Minds” of our children.

Extinction Rebellion  why have we allowed them to permeate our every thought with this dooms day insanity?

What I saw marching was giddiness. silliness. Students happily proclaiming ONLY they could save the world from this CHICKEN LITTLE extinction. Even though starting with pre-school, they are told they have no future. You’d think they’d be a bit sad? Nope. It was party!

Do you know what your child is being ‘taught’ ? After 40-50 years of hard-core leftist indoctrination, generations – including adults – cannot contradict the indoctrination they’ve been saturated with on all levels. Can we do ANYTHING to end this insanity? That’s the conundrum.

Controlled. Intimidated. Opposing Marxist agit-prop would make you a NAZI.

The streets of lower Manhattan were jam-packed from all sides with young and old. Sadly, we may have lost the war for the hearts and minds of the next generation.

Or, can we save the FUTURE? Will the truth win-out?

Short slide show of their ridiculous politics:

DSC_1090

““There are real environmental issues, but global warming isn’t one of them. Man-made climate change is a monumental top-down fraud. It’s a ploy to prevent the third world from developing, to keep it mired in poverty. It’s a huge tax scam to redistribute wealth from the poor and the middle class to the one percent. And these self-satisfied, sanctimonious useful idiots, whether they know it or not, are fully complicit,” (Paul)Watson [Western Free Press]

Profanity seems to be as important to the younger participants as the ‘adults’: profanity de rigueur

Video of assembly and march

Unless we put an END government UNION-controlled indoctrination (aka education) the future will continue to look dim. Intellectual Child abuse rolls-on.

In New York, students have been allowed to skip school with the blessing of Mayor de Blasio, who said in a tweet, “we have ten years to save the planet. New York stands with our young people, they’re our conscience.”

According to The New York Times, 1,000 students from Beacon High School in Hell’s Kitchen plan to attend the march — almost two-thirds of the student body.

But while students will get a free pass, the city announced earlier this week that teachers won’t be allowed to participate in the march with their students because it would constitute a political activity.

Disappointed teachers said they’d been planning for months to attend with younger students as chaperones and now many of those students won’t be able to participate. Younger students also have permission to skip school but need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to leave class.” [NY Daily News] also [NY Daily News]

Are we really this gullible?

Do Americans really believe that the Free Market and individualism is the villain?

What happened to intelligent debate?

The future, it is a terrible thing to waste.
