Anti-Israel Left Protests Batsheva Dance Company at NYC’s Joyce Theatre

July 10, 2018 – 6:30 pm. Joyce Theatre. Batsheva, The Young Ensemble (scheduled from July 10 to 22). A part of the Israeli government’s Dance Fest Israel 70, supported by the Consulate General of Israel in New York [video link]

So, of course, Adalah-NY protested with anti-Israel signs and obnoxious music from the Rude Mechanical Orchestra.

Thankfully the NEW JDL NY was there : On With The Show!

The audience arrived as the anti-Semites chanted boycott, boycott; handed out brochures supporting BDS and proclaimed Israel to be the perpetrator of Muslim/Arab Apartheid.

Self-hating Jews, hard-core Lefties … their LIES assaulted those who merely came to attend a dance concert:

The LIES: Apartheid. Racism. Israel. The problem is JUSTICE denied to Muslims in the Holy Land … by ISRAEL.

So glad to see the New JDL-NY there to “Stand Up For Israel “.

From the New JDL- NY: “Once again, American jihadists promoted BDS outside of the Joyce Theater. The rabid anti-Semites will use the Brand Israel program to promote their anti-Israel vitriol and lies.”

“Adalah-NY promotes a movement to de-legitimize Israel. We can not be silent where there is hate! We must be visible where there is hate!”

Afterwards, from New JDL-NY: “Thank-you to everyone who came out on this steamy night. One moment that stood out was a mother who came over to us with her three sons (under the age of 12). She is from Israel. She thanked the team in front of her kids. She was so thankful that people were standing up for Israel and that the anti-Israel group was being countered. We make a difference!”

Broadway World also posted this embarrassing article:

“July 9 was the 13th anniversary of the Palestinian boycott call. The protesters support the growing international movement for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) to pressure Israel to end its human rights abuses. Fifty human rights advocates held a vibrant, musical protest on the sidewalk just outside New York’s Joyce Theater to oppose the opening night performance by the Batsheva Dance Company, a leader in helping the Israeli government to whitewash its violent repression of the Palestinian people.

The dimwits at Bdwy World used SPLC , Southern Poverty Law Center, as a SOURCE to demean the New JDL-NY.  “A small group of protesters from the anti-Arab hate group the Jewish Defense League (JDL) protested in support of Batsheva, the Joyce Theater and the Israeli government, holding signs saying “Thank God for Trump”, and “Punish Gaza.

The Southern Poverty Law Center calls the JDL a “radical organization that preaches a violent form of anti-Arab, Jewish nationalism.” [Bdwy World]

Shame. shame Broadway World, using the arts to promote Adalah’s hate machine meme-of-the-day: “The arts should be for liberation, not whitewashing colonization!”

Their screed follows: “As Palestinians mark 70 years of dispossession, Batsheva–The Young Ensemble and the Joyce Theater will be celebrating Israel’s 70th anniversary.”

“… we call on Batsheva and the Joyce to sever their ties with the Israeli government and refuse to participate in its Brand Israel initiative, which cynically uses the arts to distract from Israel’s violations of Palestinian rights.”

“…. we’ll let Batsheva and the Joyce Theatre know that the arts should be for liberation, not whitewashing colonization!”

Some history on the origins of Batsheva. It all started with Batsheva de Rothschild.

All [that Palestinians] can agree on as a community is what they want to destroy, not what they want to build.” [New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman]

There is no age-old Palestinian people. Most so-called Palestinians are relative newcomers to the Land of Israel

Like a mantra, Arabs repeatedly claim that the Palestinians are a native people. The concept of a “Stateless Palestinian people” is not based on fact. It is a fabrication. [The Geller Report]

Adalah. Boycott. BDS. “In response to a letter from Adalah-NY: Campaign for the Boycott of Israel criticizing the Joyce for hosting Batsheva and collaborating with the Israeli government, the Joyce’s Executive Director Linda Shelton wrote that the Joyce would “let the art speak for itself,” and asserted that artists’ work “has the potential to transcend violence and political conflict.” Ms. Shelton did not explain how dance sponsored by and in support of a government that is perpetrating systematic violence could transcend that same violence.”

“In his most recent review, he slammed the performance of Israel’s junior troupe, the Young Ensemble. And he did it in such a way as to make clear to readers that he regarded this group as a sort of example of Israel’s repression of “Palestinian” people.” [the Geller Report]

The New JDL NY says otherwise: DON’T LET AMERICA BECOME LIKE EUROPE; Hamas and its supporters are agents of RACISM, HATE and MURDER; THANK GOD FOR TRUMP!”

APATHY should NEVER be an OPTION.

“Nakba” Day 2018 NYC – New JDL counters anti-Israel LIES

May 18 and 19,  2018. Two Days of the “Nakba Day 2018” protests began in Times Square and ended next day in Grand Central Station. It began at 3 pm, in Times Square. [Face Book]

The New JDL NY was there, countering the LIES put out by the anti-Israel protestors:“Jihadists and their supporters will assemble on Times Square and call for Intifada. They will spread the lies of “Nakba” and promote the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Israel…”From the river to the sea….”

“Silence is dangerous. Silence will not end the lies. The lies will only grow stronger and so will the violence.” [the New JDL NY Face Book]

The LIES from the Marxist Fascist Left : “ALL OUT IN COMMEMORATION OF THE NAKBA AND THE ONGOING STRUGGLE FOR LIBERATION AND RETURN”

“March 30th, Land Day, marked the first day of the Great March of Return, a 46 day struggle leading up to “Nakba Day “on May 15th. From now until then and beyond, we in New York and around the globe must support the ongoing struggle in Palestine.

As the struggle escalates throughout historic Palestine and the diaspora, join NY4Palestine as we reiterate our commitment to the liberation and the right of return of all of historic Palestine from the strangles of the settler colonial Zionist state of ‘israel.’ “

Present for the Times Square “Nakba was Sara Flounders (of International Action Center), Bill Doares, Workers World Party, Raja Abdulhaq [Abulhaq is an active member of Al-Awda, a radical anti-Israel website that rallies for the “Right of Return,” otherwise known as the “One State Solution“], and always, the very racist Nerdeen-Mohsen Kiswani (who tried but could NOT persuade the NYPD to give her special on street  parking privileges.

Video Part 1

“It has been 70 years since nearly 1 million Palestinians were forcibly expelled from their homes by Zionist forces during the Al-Nakba (Arabic for the Catastrophe) To this day they and their descendants are still barred from returning. Israel has recently escalated its racist and genocidal policies, with the detention and killing of children increasing whilst Al-Quds, the capital of Palestine, is under threat.

“In reaction to the increase in these policies of ethnic cleansing the resilient Palestinian people, alongside their international allies, are organizing to let the world know that the land, from Haifa to Jerusalem to Gaza and all in between, will be liberated and that a sovereign, independent, free Palestine is inevitable as long as its people remain beacons of resistance.”

“While we mourn the “Nakba”, we celebrate the resistance and its steadfast sacrifices in ensuring that the question of Palestine gets an answer. The Zionists did not expect that 70 years later Palestinians would still be fighting for their freedom and dignity.

As the fight for liberation continues in the homeland, the fight for liberation continues from inside the belly of the beast. We will be rallying to demand the right of return for ALL Palestinians in the diaspora, to demand Israel keep its hands off al-Quds, to celebrate 70 years of resilience and resistance, and to denounce the settler colonial state of “israel.”

Video Part 2

The chants from the anti-Israel, “palestinian” demonstrators always focus on the annihilation and demonizing of Israel:

The “Nakba” did not end in 1948, nor did the resistance: There is only one solution! Intifada Revolution! We don’t want two states! We want 48!

“This past Tuesday, May 15 marked the 70th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba. Nakba, Arabic for “catastrophe,” describes the mass expulsion of 750,000 – 1,000,000 “indigenous Palestinians” and the destruction of over 500 “Palestinian” villages that Zionist settlers carried out in 1947-1949 in order to establish a Jewish-majority state.”

Jewish Voice for Peace-New York City —Thank you to everyone who came out to Grand Central on Saturday for remind New York that Palestinians have the right to live in freedom. Palestinians have the right to return home. #Nakba70

Video Grand Central

The “Nakba” has continued ever since through different forms of political, legal and military violence, including the ongoing theft of “Palestinian” land to build Jewish-only settlements; the military detention of “Palestinian” men, women and children; and the 12-year siege of Gaza.

“The day prior, Monday, May 14, Israeli forces killed over 60 “Palestinians” in besieged Gaza and wounded thousands. This is the response to the near-culmination of the historic #GreatReturnMarch, where for seven weeks, tens of thousands of “Palestinians” — families, children, elders — have been gathering along the fence that keeps 2 million people penned in in an open-air prison. Remember, Resist, Return. Free Palestine.”

100 Days : #TheResistance vs Thank You Pres. Trump Patriots NYC

April 29, 2017. Noon. Trump Tower – 56th street and Fifth Avenue -home base for The Resistance. The police seems to favor them at this prime location.

57th street and Fifth – the not preferred but seemingly predictable location that now houses the patriot rallies.

On this 1oo day of celebration, it was great to see that some came to praise our President.

VIDEO #TheResistance and Patriots come face to face

While others came to vilify him. Unceasingly.

Some observations. Re this ‘bigly’ thing: another Fake News meme.

BBC News  and The Hollywood Reporter

‘bigly’? “It’s a word,” says Fiona McPherson, a senior editor with the Oxford English Dictionary.

“Bigly” can mean “with great force”, she says. Thomas Hardy uses it in Far From the Madding Crowd to mean “proudly, haughtily, pompously,” McPherson adds. The OED lists an adjectival definition: “Habitable, fit to dwell in; (hence) pleasant.”

The US reference book company Merriam-Webster agrees that “bigly” is a word.

Part 2 Slide show : the Patriot’s Support President Trump Rally was a block away from the 100 Days “Not My President” Protest. No matter.

Things got lively when some of the younger patriots brought flag-waving, singing and chanting to the Anti-Trump location.

Eventually, The Not My President losers started their march, passing by the patriots on their way to Columbus Circle.

The Never Ending Resistance : 100 days and counting.

But, perhaps there is a glimmer of hope that their persistence is NOT winning

Townhall -Kurt Schlicter:

In the first 100 days … the goofy collection of commie traitors, coastal snobs, and crack-pot weirdoes that hilariously styles itself “#TheResistance” has only managed to successfully resist success.

#TheResistance is resisting us. The elite establishment is outraged that we normals have demanded to govern ourselves rather than begging for scraps from our betters in DC, NY and LA…. we rejected … them…. we “stole” ….their birthright to reign sovereign over us.

#The Resistance is a mess [….] reduced to fighting for supremacy in their final redoubt, the universities where their fascist intimidation and suppression of speech provides a glimpse of America as it would have been had Trump not been elected […]

[….] forced into a last-ditch effort to keep power in an institution where their control is total is proof positive of their weakness […] to actively work to silence the voices of non-idiocy […] Their goose-stepping antics on campus are providing America a preview of life under Democrats and it’s not helping them.

There’s no indication that the next 100 days, or the 100 days thereafter, will be any better for #TheResistance.

My thoughts on the recent protests. May Day. Climate /Science Day. 100 days and Counting Day. And upon Trump’s return to NYC at the Intrepid the meme (again) – Impeach/Not My President Day.

Same signs. Same people. The Resistance drones on. BUT, there is a NEW Game in town. After May Day Commie Day and 100 Days Patriot’s Day it would seem the millennial gen is actively resisting The Resistance.

Silence is not the answer.
