25th Annual Muslim Day Parade 2010 (video and pics)

UPDATE: September 29; Part 7 (last video ) is now posted

September 28: The first of two parade videos (Parts 6 and 7) is up now (please scroll down for Part 6)

New video posted: September 27, 2010
(please scroll down for Parts 4 and 5)

Part 1: The parade came to an end at  Madison Square Park at 23rd  and Madison Ave. The early part of ceremony had an award to Mayor Bloomberg as well as The Priest, the Rabbi and the Imam. (who seemed to be a non-note band of sorts)

Part 2: Three speakers from ICNA, MAS and the Islamic Cultural Center of NY

Part 3: This speaker is Nihad Awad of CAIR (Council of Islamic Relations) was one of the Grand marshals of the parade.

Part 4: While many spoke on the stage of how the American Muslim is “suffering ” at the hands of bigots they used three groups of lovely children to sing of the “joys” and ” peace” that Islam brings. Good ol’ Da’wah.

Part 5: The prayers before the  parade were at 38th and Madison this year (even though it ws published at 41st as it had been in previous years). There was a delay putting out the tarps (prayer “rugs”) due to this location. Seemed police weren’t ready to close the intersection in time for the zuhur prayer.  The Imam kept singing. There is a wudu basin on Madison this year. The tarps were laid out and finally the prayers (at approx. 10 minutes into video )

Part 6: The parade began with flags..lots of flags followed the the police band playing “This is My Country”…followed by the Muslim Police Officers Association. Then lots of local masjids, mosques, floats celebrating the Victory Mosque that destroyed the  great Jewish Temple….women’s groups, schools, hijabs, niqabs, families…. da’wah was loud and bold for the Ummah of North America with lots of loving, peaceful quotes from Mohammed and chants of takbir. takbir. takbir.

Part 7: I walked with the parade to Madison Square Park at 25th Street. The takbir. takbir. takbir. mixed in with other chants was relentless and then…the occasional…silence .The parade was quite simple. It was families, children, schools and masjids and, of course, the da’wah signs. At the park, there was a popular da’wah table(FREE)andthen more prayers were sung from the stage. After a young woman with a lovely voice sang the National Anthem, the program continued with the speakers ( See videos 1,2 and 3)

On September 26, our first observations :

The parade seemed to be confused. Announced to start at 41st and Madison , but they were all at 38th st. the police were not blocking off the intersections so the prayer tarps could be put down. The clock was ticking and the Imam was BEGGING the police to get the intersections blocked.Police pointed out that they weren’t where they were supposed to be….I think they weren’t planning on closing an intersection (interesting)

Slide show is of prayers and the TARPS on Madison Avenue. The parade floats, some signs and banners….and the children….

The speakers did a lot of complaining about Park 51 with the usual bigots, hatred slander and it was no surprise that it was also a LOVE-Fest for Bloomberg and Obama.

The unannounced theme: Da’wah. To Educate and rewrite Islam’s “history”.

9-29-10: And a few more pictures will be posted.

Freedom for Iran and No Nukes for Ahjad Rally at UN (9-23-10)

UPDATE  10-14-10 ALL seven videos are now posted. Just added John Bolton’s speech (in 2 parts)

In Part 1 (John Bolton) The first 3 minutes has unsteady camera trying to shoot over crowd. I decided to black out the video in  those sections so I could post video . Please LISTEN at those spots. Sound is good . Speech is great.

In Part 2 (John Bolton) Holding camera over heads in crowd of this fabulous (but long) speech, I didn’t catch the very end. Only missed the wrap up at the end.

11 AM, September 23,2010. Rally to protest the presence of Ahmadinejad at the UN. Brave Iranians came together, joined by Jews and Christians and among the speakers were  Former Ambassador the to the U.N. John Bolton and also former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

America came out to protest the murderous Ahmadinejad; this tyrant who was welcomed at the United Nations. Unwanted in Iran, he steals elections and terrorizes and murders those who protest and beg for freedom.

We have lots of pictures still to post from the “No to Ah’jad” rally across the U.N. It was one of the more beautiful rallies we’ve seen. The purple balloons, scarves and caps; the confetti stars being shot high above the crowd, it was visually gorgeous. Yet, the message was any thing but …

Some times uplifting and at other times deeply disturbing that the UN should give a public forum to this holocaust denying, 9-11 truther: Sickening.

Part 1: The Rally (opening) and the crowd

Part 2:includes excerpts from Rudy Guiliani

Part 3: The Marxist-Iranians were set-up at the corner of 47th and 2nd ave. The police tried to move them, said they had no amplified sound permit, but as usual….after much chatter between police and the Leftists…. the Lefty/Soc/Progressive/ Commies: Marxists ….they didn’t move.

A whole contingent of sign-waving  Che-loving Reds arrived, with their SECULAR protest. Then, in the distance we heard a huge roar and saw lots of confetti. This was when Maryam  Rajavi, leader of the Iranian Resistance , was introduced to speak.

Apologies for BOUNCY CAMERA work… the zoom was hyper sensitive …and I was having more difficulty than usual keeping it steady…

Part 4:  Maryam Rajavi, leader of Iranian Resistance, spoke…

Part 6: During the protest,  South of the stage (at 1st Avenue) where the rally took place was the Falun Gong. Never saw them in action before (and so QUIET). Then as I left the rally, there was Crazy Commie Guy on 2nd Avenue. What a contrast….

There was unexpected street-theatre depicting the sharia law horrors of hangings and stonings so loved by this vile dwarf.

Also present along with the Marxist Iranians was  of course  (for those of you who know him) Crazy Commie Guy!

It is an outrage that the madman of Tehran, Mahmud Ahmadinejad was granted a platform at the United Nations. “…a sad day for people of all faiths” .

Tibetans, Camaroons, Chinese Fulong Gong and the La Raza contingent. And throw in a new Leftist org called, Iran 180.

These Leftists formed a new group called “Iran 180” and hosted a press conference on Monday with Anthony Weiner and Jerry Nadler . Today they brought their GIANT head-puppets (no body but the hard-core left drags these  giant heads around) It’s De rigueur . Freshman year: “How to make Giant Puppet Heads for Protests 101”

TONS of pictures of this eclectic rally with one more slide show will be posted…

One last video to be posted ….

New York Board of Rabbis Human Chain in Protest at United Nations

“This is a Day of Outrage” .

On TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2010 @ 9:45 AM, at the SOUTHWEST CORNER OF 40TH & 1ST AVENUE, the New York Board of Rabbis (NYBR) gathered at 1st Avenue and 40th street to protest the President of Iran .

“There is no place for this evil-entity to be at the U.N. A sad day for New Yorkers and Americans.”

DSCN2600 copyright

“Ah’jad, a man who brutalizes the opposition. A tyrant . A murderer who is being given an honorable welcome by the U.N.  when he should be locked away; put on-trial and locked away for the crime of genocide.”

DSCN2579 copyright

They gathered at the UN to protest and to voice their condemnation of the madman of Tehran, Mahmud Ahmadinejad being granted a platform at the United Nations. “This is a sad day for people of all faiths.”

DSCN2625 2 copyright

The night before Ah’jad refused to even say the name of Israel, using instead “the Zionist entity”. “This protest is about doing what is right. It is about the Decent vs the un-Decent.”

DSCN2618 copyright

The Rabbis were joined by the Inter-Faith Community.
‘No sign of CAIR, ISNA, ICNA or other Islamic surpremacists. Where was peacemaker Rauf?’

DSCN2574 copyright

After a few short speeches, they formed a Human Link Across First Avenue in Protest; singing and the blowing the shofar.

The New York Board of Rabbis (NYBR), is the largest interdenominational rabbinic body in the world representing over 700 Rabbis from the New York metropolitan area .

DSCN2610 copyright

After linking arms and forming a chain to block 1st Avenue in protest the police then asked them all to leave the street or they would be arrested. With the blowing of the shofar, they willingly and respectfully cleared 1st Avenue.

“The voices of the murdered cry-out and the voice of moral conscience will follow this evil (Ah’jad) until he is defeated and overcome. Goodness will prevail.”

Sun- Sept 26, 2010: The Muslim Day Parade AGAIN

It’s time to play: GUESS THE THEME OF THE  2010 MUSLIM DAY PARADE

.

Grand Marshals Ghulam Nabi Fai and Nihad Awad

.

25th MUSLIM DAY PARADE

SEPTEMBER 26th , 2010

1PM Madison Ave /41 Street NY City

ZAHUR PRAYER ON MADISON AVE.

Famous Muslim entertainer Zain Bhikha to perform in our parade

Islamic Circle of North America

Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA)

Council on American Islamic Relations, New York

Islamic Society of North America

They say, ” Our parade always has Islamic Theme and a Muslim Grand Marshal. It represents many Muslim nationalities and their cultures. At the end of the parade, we have a bazaar where vendors are selling foods, clothing, books and etc. from different countries. Also included are programs for the kids.”

TSM: So, we went looking for that theme.  In 2009  the theme seemed to be the 2010 census:

from video

from video

And here’s the links to the Parade in 2008 That year the “coincidence” was  that the parade was infringing on Columbus Day. So they seemed to be “celebrating’ Columbus day.

Looking back,  the 2007 Parade was a water-shed year when the average American  discovered this parade in the wake of  the NYC Intifada T-shirt; a summer very similar  the Ground Zero Mosque up-roar.

What surprises lay ahead since it seems, the only poster for a parade that’s planned at the end of this week is from 2009…… What’s up?? There are lots of questions…lots of secrets….and no answers….

Side note from TSM: Last year this blogger was told to stop taking pictures on a public street, at the 2009 Muslim day Parade. then last week I was told to stop taking pictures, again, at a public candle lighting rally on September 10th, 2010. Each time I was told that I  was making them (Muslims…Lefties)  nervous (taking too many pictures).

Why was everyone else was permitted to  remain at this parade, taking pictures,  but ME? Public Events at which I do nothing but take pictures and/or video.  That’s what they want, right?! They plan this event so we can watch them praying  on Madison Avenue and now they say No Pictures cause we’re with our families and we’re praying…. I chose not to leave the Muslim Day Parade, but I was ‘politely” forced to leave on September 10. Not right. So not right.

Interesting observation regarding the Muslim Day Parade we found from a reader at  John Derbyshire’s column at National Review ( from April of this year):

Muslim Day Parade

Daniel: I’ll register some mild foreboding. To the best of my knowledge, the Muslim Day Parade is the only one currently dedicated to celebration of a religious, as opposed to national, heritage. The history of such things, though sparse, is not encouraging.”

TSM: Not sure if this comment at Derbyshire was correct, but certainly the religious factor is  front and center at each Muslim day Parade. Are we supposed to ignore it? On a public street? Are we NO longer permitted to photograph them during this public display? Permission not granted.

This is all too similar to our assault (a NY Post Photographer and myself) in January 0f 2009. At a Hate-Israel (Fakestinian) Rally in Times Square. The paid leftists instigators  said with great confidence  to the NY Post Photographer ,  “We don’t want your press”. From what we observed, the police assigned to this protest were mostly Muslim and allowed this  shutting down of a free press. Their behavior has only gotten bolder in 2010, as Dearborn, Michigan has revealed.

Now in 2010, what might the unknown theme be for this parade? Looking at the backgrounds of two Grand Marshals, perhaps there might be a clue… or two….

Nihad Awad is the Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). After the Gulf War, he was Public Relations Director for the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), described by U.S. government officials as an Hamas front organization. He has said, “I am in support of the Hamas movement more than the PLO…”

More from InvestigativeProject.org

Nihad Awad is among the founders of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and serves as its executive director. In that role, he has attained a degree of political clout, invited to stand beside President George W. Bush at the Islamic Center of Washington days after the 9/11 attacks.[1] Before that, Vice President Al Gore appointed Awad to a civil rights advisory panel for the White House Commission on Aviation Safety and Security.[2]

These are influential recognitions for a man with past ties to Hamas, designated a foreign terrorist organization by the United States in 1995. In fact, Awad publicly declared “I am in support of the Hamas movement,” during a March 1994 symposium at Barry University.[3]

India, The United Nations And Kashmir

By Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai

19 April, 2010
Countercurrents.org

Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India’s assertion that “there can be no redrawing of borders in Jammu Kashmir” and former Indian Supreme Court judge Saghir Ahmad’s recommendation “to restore the autonomy to the extent possible” need to be supplemented by some observations from the view point of the people of Kashmir. These deserve to be borne in mind by all those who wish the conflict to be justly resolved once and for all.

When the Kashmir dispute erupted in 1947-1948, the United States took the stand that the future status of Kashmir must be ascertained in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of the people of the territory. The U.N. Security Council adopted a resolution on 21 April 1948 which was based on that unchallenged principle. So the issue in Kashmir is about the right of self-determination which was agreed upon by both India and Pakistan, endorsed by the Security Council and accepted by the international community.

The concept to convert the existing cease-fire line into a permanent International boundary is an ideal non-existent solution. Any such suggestion is an insult to the intelligence of the people of Kashmir. One cannot imagine a better formula for sowing a minefield in South Asia that will lead them to a nuclear disaster. The people revolted against the status quo and status quo cannot be an answer? Also, Kashmiris wish to emphasize that their land is not a real estate which can be parceled out between two disputants but the home of a nation with a history far more compact and coherent than India’s and far longer than Pakistan’s. No settlement of their status will hold unless it is explicitly based on the principles of self-determination and erases the so-called line of control, which is in reality the line of conflict.

The idea of autonomy for Kashmir is an absolute fallacy. Here one has to rely on a provision of the Indian Constitution. All Constitutions of the world are subject to amendments and Indian Constitution is no exception. If not now, in the foreseeable future, the Indian legislature can delete this provision in the Constitution and the move will not even need a debate in the Parliament.

Secondly, Kashmiris have had the experience of a limited autonomy, which was first practiced under a personal understanding between Prime Minister Nehru and Sheikh Abdullah and later provided for by Section 370 of the Indian Constitution. Kashmir was granted autonomous powers over all sectors excluding communications, defence and foreign affairs. It was eroded and eventually whittled away by the forces of circumstances.

My opinion was confirmed by a poll conducted jointly by major news outlets on Aug 12, 2007: CNN-IBN and Hindustan Times in India and Dawn and News in Pakistan. A majority of those polled in Kashmir Valley (87% to be precise) preferred freedom (Azadi). The Azadi means both the rejection of line of control into an international border and rejection of concept of autonomy.

However, there is but one fair, just, legal, and moral solution to Kashmir which was provided by the United Nations. The procedures contemplated at early stage of the dispute at the United Nations for its solution may be varied in the light of changed circumstances but its underlying principle must be scrupulously observed if justice and rationality are not be thrown overboard. The setting aside of the UN resolution is one thing; the discarding of the principle they embodies is altogether another. So the settlement has to be in accordance with the wishes of the people; impartially ascertained; in conditions of freedom from intimidation.

Kashmiris are open to a constitutional dispensation that answers all of India’s legitimate national security and human rights concerns. With regard to the former, they are willing to explore permanent neutrality for Kashmir along the model of the 1955 Austrian State Treaty and a renunciation of war or the threat of force in international affairs along the model of Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution. They are willing to consider abandoning a military force like Costa Rica, Haiti, and Panama. Moreover, they hold no objection to providing community quotas in government offices along the lines of the 1960 Constitution for the Republic of Cyprus to safeguard against invidious discrimination of any religious or ethnic group, i.e., Pandit, Buddhist, Sikh, and Muslim alike.

With good faith by all parties common ground leading to a final settlement of the Kashmir tragedy can be discovered. An appointment of a special envoy by President Obama, like Bishop Desmond Tutu will hasten the way of peace and prosperity in the region of South Asia.

Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai is Executive Director, Kashmiri American Council. Dr. Fai can be reached at gnfai2003@yahoo.com

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s assertion that Kashmir is an integral part of India needs to be supplemented by some observations from the viewpoint of the people of Kashmir.

TSM: Let the Games Begin as we leave you with two proposals:

1. Would love to get a consensus on what the theme might be for 2010 (with these two individuals as the Grand Marshals)…can you guess??

2. How long will I last at the parade this year before I am forcibly removed . The Candle lighting last week was about 30 minutes and the Muzzie Parade    2009 …ditto….

And then if you can, join us at the parade.

This Sunday, September 26, 2010.

Washingtoons from Allen B. West: “The Politics of Character Assassination”

Washingtoons
Sat, 18 Sept 2010
Lieutenant Colonel Allen B West (US Army, Ret)

“The Politics of Character Assassination”

“If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside”…..Eleventh Rule of Tactics

“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it”……Thirteenth Rule of Tactics

Greetings my fellow riders, South Floridians, and all Americans, it is time for our monthly political assessment. First, I just want to thank you all for your support during the August primary election….as well thanks for coming up and telling me how you appreciate this column.

The two quotes from above did not come from any brilliant military strategist. They come from the book written by Saul Alinsky entitled, “Rules for Radicals; A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals”. This book was written in 1971 by Mr Alinsky, a Chicago native, and has been referred to by many members of the Democrat party, some rather senior. The book’s tone is set right from the beginning with its author’s acknowledgement to “the first radical known to man”, Lucifer.

I truly believe the major story which dominates this election season is that of character assassination. We are seeing less of an ideological debate on the prescient issues affecting our Republic between contenders. This has seemingly been replaced by the ever intensifying 11th and 13th rules from Alinsky’s book. The fact that many incumbents are using their vast campaign coffers, not to present their case, but rather demonize their opponents is becoming more apparent.

I hate to think that Americans are contributing to campaigns to see their hard earned money to be used in such a petty manner, something this campaign shall never do.

As well, we witness daily the print, online, and televised media sources that have chosen their targets and in my estimation, fire volley upon volley of verbal artillery. Yes, this may have been the case all along but I believe you would agree that this has become modus operandi in the current American political scene. It is as though the objective analysis of the issues has been replaced by hearty partisan cheerleading, especially where we had trusted our media to be objective.

In this current election cycle I must admit that I am constantly amazed at the vicious attacks against the conservative American grassroots movement called, “The Tea Party”. I had no idea what the term “tea bagger” meant and when I was enlightened, well, I was appalled. This movement has completely restructured the political scene of the 2010 midterm elections. I find it interesting that most people who I meet that speak out against the Tea (Taxed Enough Already) Party has never attended an event….they just repeat media talking points.

In my 6-7 speaking engagements at Tea Party events I have just found concerned Americans who want to restore Constitutional principles and want leaders who will abide by those foundational principles. What is happening is that this movement is supporting candidates that they are willing to take a chance with regardless of their not having the approved “political establishment” credentials. I thought the Constitution was very clear on the requirements to run for political office in America.

However, what we find is the vehement attacks levied against this movement and candidates they support. We have seen the use of countless derogatory references, which often are proven untrue. But, if you tell a lie enough, eventually it can, or will, be considered the truth.

We saw this play out wholeheartedly in the GOP nomination of Christine O’Donnell in the Delaware primary. What was amazing for many who are also GOP nominees was the horrific response from the Republican party establishment to her nomination. When some were pressed they conceded that Congressman Castle was preferred because they felt he could win. It begs the question, is it more important to win with no principles than to stand for something? That is the question the Republican party had soon answer unless they seek to steal defeat from the jaws of victory.

This is where I ask the question, what is a moderate? What are the principles and values of a moderate? America cannot be led by individuals who awake each day and decide, based upon political winds, what their values are? My Mother , Elizabeth Thomas West, had a great maxim she taught me, “a Man must stand for something, or else he will fall for anything”. The failures of “moderates” as leaders can be seen in California and even here in our home state of Florida…..where unemployment just rose.

The lesson from the O’Donnell primary victory is that the people will take the risk that is principled, than a perceived victory that is not.

And then there is the vile means by which the liberal left has defined campaigning in this cycle. Early on DNC Chairman Tim Kaine made it clear this was not going to be about the liberal progressive socialist legislative agenda, truly indefensible. Instead it would be about attacking the individual and false branding, so instead of meeting on the battleground of ideological ideas this season has turned into a bad National Enquirer reality show. The negative TV ads, personal attacks based upon lies and half information, and the purposeful hiding of most incumbents are becoming the standard for this election cycle.

What this all evidences is a desperation among a ruling class of political elites who wish not to be challenged and certainly wish not to lose power.

This reminds me of a great quote from one of our Founding Fathers, “Nothing so strongly impels a man to regard the interest of his constituents as the certainty of returning to the general mass of the people, from whence he was taken, where he must participate in their burdens” (George Mason, 17 June 1788, Virginia Ratifying Convention).

The real impetus behind the politics of character assassination is control. Control by a group forming a new American “Politburo” who no longer find themselves willing to return to the general mass of the people. Control by a group of career political elites who feel they know what is best for all of us and are not willing to participate in our burdens. Control by a group that is certainly not compelled to regard the interest of their constituents, which has been replaced by their own personal interest and special interest.

The politics of character assassination in the 2010 midterm election cycle is about the DC political establishment feeling it slipping away. What was once referred to as “astroturf” is now having a recognized impact. What was once considered a playground for certain individuals is now open to us all. And what frustrates the pundits the most? They cannot clearly define this movement and attack it because of its loose decentralized nature….kinda resembles what frustrated the British back when 13 unorganized colonies stood up to them……led by Men of Principle.

In this election cycle, shall we stand with principled men and women who will risk themselves and their families? Or shall we believe the lies and politics of character assassination from the ruling masters of Washington DC?

Yes, I am currently experiencing the politics of character assassination but my response is a familiar one…….“Give me Liberty or Give me Death” but I will not succumb nor surrender my Country, the United States of America.

Steadfast and Loyal,

To stand in solidarity with those whose voices have been silenced in Iran they stood with signs and tape over their mouths to demonstrate that opposition to Iran’s violent regime by its oppressed people has been silenced.

Ahjad is welcomed and unchallenged by the same press that thinks there is no veiled threat to our freedoms behind the building of a Victory Mosque at Ground zero.

Could this story get any CREEPIER? Murderers and tyrants and summits…oh my…..

A summit of U.S. Muslim organizations (a Pow-wow) is planned [for today and Sunday] in New York City to address both the project and a rise in anti-Muslim sentiments and rhetoric that has accompanied the debate over the project. It has yet to be seen whether the group will emerge with a firm stand on the proposed community center, dubbed Park51. The primary purpose of the two-day meeting is to talk about ways to combat religious bigotry.”

NY POST eagerly reported on what seemed to be a spontaneous gathering:

“Muslim Pow-Wow”

Concerned Muslims plan to hold a summit at a hotel near Kennedy Airport today to discuss how to stem what they say is a rising anti-Islamic tide.

“We’ll begin the conversation,” said Shaik Ubaid of the Islamic Leadership Council of Metropolitan New York. He said extremists had forced US Muslims to support the Ground Zero mosque even if they initially had doubts about the idea. “Once it became a rallying cry for extremists, we had no choice but to stand with Feisal Rauf,” he said.”

Anyone else wonder why the Post was using the word POW-WOW?? Surfed around and found this gem: The American Muslim (2004) A report on the Muslim Pow-Wow from 1993.

From Wikipedia: “ The First North American Muslim Pow Wow was held in June 1993 in New Mexico, United States. The event brought together Muslims of diverse backgrounds to know one another, to increase trust, and to discover a common voice. The original Pow Wow was largely the result of efforts by Sheila Musaji and Hakim Archuletta.

Pow-wow‘ is a native Algonquin word, and was used to indicate a desire for Islam to become native to the American Continent. The word further expressed the intention of the gathering, as a conference, a council meeting, a caucus, a time to hear each other out. The gathering was a grassroots, three day camping event which took on a spirit of celebration.

Annual gatherings continued over the next three years, and within the last decade such transformative study & worship circles have become formalized into what are known as “Deen Intensives”.

Deen Intensives have spread to different places in North America and as far abroad as England. The Pow Wow is currently inactive. ” …….NOT ANYMORE…..

And then we found this: TIME has two disturbing videos which are intended to show the happy, peaceful American converts, in particular, worshiping during Ramadan. TIME took the same footage and managed to make two videos out of it. With the dhimmi-press in lock-step, TIME marches in to the belly-of-the-beast: Park51…

“Young students and professionals who pray at the Park51 mosque, two blocks from Ground Zero, defend the controversial site”.

“Iran’s loopy dictator, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is headed to the Big Apple this week for the meeting of the UN General Assembly. In the spirit of “peace” in his region, Ahmadinejad said from Syria yesterday that Middle Eastern countries will “disrupt” American and Israeli peace efforts.”

[And those peaceful UN cronies have no problem with this threat.]

Iran’s Holocaust-denying, Zionist-hating leader also called for the release of eight of his “illegally arrested and detained” countrymen. Read more:

BTW: WHERE WAS THE MEDIA?? (Well…lookie here…) It seems CNN was there.

Never saw their logo and there is a FUNNY typo(Untied ) Nations!

New York (CNN)– A former Sudanese slave began walking from New York to Washington on Wednesday to gain American support for a referendum in southern Sudan as a step toward peace in Darfur.

Simon Deng is walking alongside Abdel Gabar Adam, founder and president of the Darfur Human Rights Organization of the USA. The 250-mile walk, which began outside the Untied Nations, will take 22 days and will culminate with a rally at the Capitol on October 7.

Deng gave a rousing speech to the 50 or so activists gathered for the start of the march, calling on the “United-do-nothing-Nations” not to delay a January referendum that could allow the southern part of Sudan to separate from the Khartoum government.

When asked what he believes the result of a referendum would be he said, “These people waited through 60 years of enslavement, Islamization, and Arabization. The time has come for them to choose to go to hell or to go to heaven. I believe they will not choose to go back to enslavement. They will choose freedom.”

SIOA/FDI : 911 Rally of Remembrance at Ground Zero (short video)

This is a short video and some pictures of  the crowd that assembled peacefully at Ground Zero on September 11, 2010.  The rally site  was thick with media. There was  lots of coverage (or so we thought) And the crowd was even larger than the June 6th rally that SIOA also hosted. Over 12,000 Americans gathered to respectfully honor those murdered  by Muslim terrorists 9 years ago.

I  grabbed my Nikon P 80, even though it’s not my video camera, to get some crowd shots during the last speaker (James Lafferty) The media was basically gone … you can see that in the crowd shots…. so who knows what they bothered to take-in while they were there.BUT, the crowd was still there. They didn’t leave!

It would be great if this little video could  start the ball rolling as we counter the media black-out and LIES .  The quality is not great but it still shows we were much larger than the ridiculous 2000 that the media is claiming. The THREE blocks that can be seen were jam-packed with people. From Park Place to Chambers. In the last frames you can see the buses on Chambers street. And the reports from our-side  say that the side streets (which can’t be seen were packed with people).

The police were giving wrong directions or NO directions to people trying to find Park Pace and West Broadway. And yet we STILL had 12, 000 people there. Thousands were lied to , turned away, shut out and actually told to go to the Lefties Hate-America rally. And the rally didn’t even exist in the “reportage” fro the NY Slimes and the WSJ and the NY Post tried to say there were only 2000 people who came out for this meaningful  Rally of Remembrance.

Slide show of the crowd (a few more pictures still to be posted)

Suggestion: Click through to Flickr and  look at the crowd shots in their original size.

The Media tools LIED. They can’t handle the truth that 12,000 Americans gathered peacefully and  respectfully . The only hatred heard that day came from the Lefties gathered at City Hall.

Fight Back America. Post your pictures and your videos. You were there. DEMAND the media stop the LIES!

TAKE BACK AMERICA!
