A NUCLEAR IRAN Protest – Is Islamic Rule World-Wide their goal?

Before the protest against a Nuclear Iran begins tomorrow, Wednesday, July 22, 2015 – in Times Square – I’m posting some videos and pics that seemed relevant. A Look at the Left in 2012 , as they demanded “Hands Off Iran” and FOR a Nuclear Iran.

I went through some old files (again) and found some video I never posted (due to a faulty camera phone) from Feb 4, 2012, in Duffy Square – NYC. For those who can handle listening to the Commie-Left begging FOR a Nuclear Iran, trashing Israel (again)  and protesting a Nuclear U.S.: Game On.

Part 1, a couple of the OWS ‘echo’ speeches, by Brower and Flounders. (My 2011 camera phone skips, but the speeches are still heard thanks to the echos)

Part 2- Their march towards 42nd was filled with many  signs and, of course,  OWS drums ….

Typical anti-American screeds and smarmy posters beloved by the Commie Insurgents. Led by America Haters, Elaine Brower and Debra Sweet of World Can’t Wait and joined by proud fellow traveler, Sara Flounders of Ramsey Clark’s IAC.  And Barack Hussein Obama. His actions though-out his presidency have exposed his anti-U.S. agenda, time and again. Obama. In lock-step with the anarchists promoting a Nuclear Iran that day in 2012, and NOT in-tune with the AMERICANS who will come to Time Squares tomorrow . GAME ON.

A  Nuclear Iran awaits a final vote in Congress  (thanks to Obama and Company for aiding this insanity).

From Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn), “New Yorkers are reaching out to “Senator Schumer, who  says he will “do the right thing.” These are unprecedented times and it’s time to stop this deal, which is disastrous for America and our allies in the Middle East.  Please do not allow partisan politics or any other considerations to cloud your judgment.”

Meanwhile, NO protests from any Iranians. Not for a long while. The silence from Iranians, once boldly seeking freedom from Islamic Tyranny, is not a good sign.

Many national organizations are sponsoring the NYC Times Square Rally. From Stand With Us to AFSI to ZOA to Simon Wiesenthal Center to EMET to RAJE to NCPA (and many, many  more). The impact will be profound if there are other demonstrations, even from a few hundred to a few thousand in many other cities.

Anti-BDS Protest @ UJA Headquarters &100+ Shofars (5-11-15) Vids /Pics

Anti-BDS Protest At UJA Headquarters – Oh, What A Night!

Richard Allen, founder and head of JCC Watch, was the MC.

The protest took place in the late afternoon/early evening of May 11, 2015 outside the UJA headquarters in Manhattan. Members of the pro-Israel community were out en force energetically protesting Lisa Doctoroff (President of the UJA), BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) and the NIF (New Israel Fund).

The following is a synopsis  of the protest from AFSI: 

“An energized group of more than 100 people protested outside the UJA, blowing shofars (real and toy) to wake up the UJA leadership to the dangers they are perpetrating on the Jewish people.

Richard Allen explained that Alisa Doctoroff, President of UJA-Federation,uja1_hh is guilty of supporting the New Israel Fund (NIF) with millions of dollars which are then given to NGO’s that work to destroy Israel. Doctoroff-BDS-NIF-ad1

 

 

 
Incredibly, some of these groups are marching in the Celebrate Israel Parade when their purpose is NOT to celebrate Israel, but to denigrate it.

He then introduced Rabbi Allen Schwartz, Rabbi of Ohab Zedek on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, who spoke about all the remarkable contributions Israel makes to the world, but regardless, is still castigated and ostracized by much of the world.

And Lauri Regan spoke for EMET (Endowment for Middle East Truth), outlining the injustices of the BDS system and the great harm it does both inside and outside Israel.

Helen Freedman, Executive Director of AFSI spoke next.
She began by asking, “Does Israel have the right to exist?” The crowd roared back with a resounding YES. She then asked, “Do you want your tzedakah supporting those who de-legitimize Israel?” The crowd responded with a strong NO. She then stated, “Our purpose here today is to announce that we are closing our wallets to UJA – while it supports the demonizers of Israel.”

Helen mentioned how Europe is consumed with BDS, and how the Netherlands cut the pension of a 90 year old Holocaust survivor for the “crime” of moving to Israel and living over the green line.

Helen then listed some of the groups funded by the NIF, including Adalah, B’Tselem, Breaking the Silence, Machshom Watch, Mossawa, Partners for Progressive Israel and Physicians for Human Rights. She held up the photo of an IDF soldier cradling a Nepalese child.

Helen continued, naming Alisa Doctoroff, Michael Miller, Eric Goldstein and Jerry Levin, all officers or former officers in UJA and JCRC, as being responsible for allowing the delegitimizers to have standing. The crowd booed their disapproval.

Helen concluded, “Rejecting Israel’s legitimacy by accusing Israel of war crimes, and violations of humanitarian law, which would justify international intervention, like the International Criminal Court, is criminal.

All the condemnations are built on lies and fabrications. They must not be allowed to pass for truth. That is why we are here today and why we must continue to raise our voices against those whose greed and willful blindness lead Israel and America into a dangerous downward spiral. We won’t let it happen. ”

Other speakers followed, including Rabbi Algaze, Paul Brody, Mort Klein, Robin Ticker and Charlie Bernhaut.

“The Murder of Leon Klinghoffer” Met Opera Premiere & the 100-Wheelchair Caravan Protest

The press conference began at 5 PM. There was LOTS of press. The media came out to watch, listen, film, take pictures, even though they did not intend to abandon the approved PC narrative defending The “Death’ of Leon Klinghoffer as ART.

Anti-Semitic ‘art’ is A-OK when done by the LEFT. They can OFFEND.

WE are expected to be SILENT (otherwise) … we might ‘offend’…

Part One Slide show is of the crowd, the wheelchairs and the signs. The crowd was calm but determined, standing firm for hours across from the Met. Listening. Cheering. Protesting. SILENT NO MORE!

Other major speakers  included Congressman Peter King (R) who currently serves as Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Counter-terrorism and Intelligence and formerly served as Homeland Security Chairman, Queens Borough President Melinda Katz, Former NY Governor David Paterson, Criminal Defense Attorney Ben Brafman, Rabbi Joseph Potasnik, ZOA President, Morton Klein, Congressman Eliot Engel and NY State Assemblyman, David Weprin AND many, many more.

Thousands Protest Klinghoffer Snuff Opera – Metropolitan Opera – Vids & pics

A PROTEST Rally was led by the Coalition Against Kinghoffer Opera outside the Metropolitan Opera

Opening Night of the Metropolitan Season. September 22, 2014 – NYC –

The Metropolitan’s Season will  include this Anti-American, Anti-Jewish, Anti-Israel, Pro-Terrorist SNUFF Opera, ” The MURDER of Leon Klinghoffer”

Thousands came out to protest the Snuff opera. They gathered on both sides of the Avenue and managed to have a presence on the Plaza as well.

Even though  attempts were made to confine the massive gathering to one location across from the opera…the protest peacefully but with determination spread out ( before, during AND AFTER)

The Official Protest ended at 6 PM. but many stayed on with signs and flyers to greet those attending the Opening Night of the opera season.

Demanding this Snuff Opera be removed from the season.

Important questions were asked of the media as well, “WHO is FUNDING this Terrorist Opera?”

Leon Klinghoffer was born a poor Jew from the Lower East Side, a man who invented an electric mini-grill you could also wash in your sink, an early predecessor of the current George Forman Grill. I recall one of these mini-grills in my home as a child in the 1950s. From this, Mr. Klinghoffer was able to create jobs for a number of people in manufacturing and sales and to support his family.

It may not have been as big a gathering as the  July 28th Rally at UN Plaza—that was HUGE—but this was confident rally with a purpose.

The crowd was  full of a quiet but intense energy…asking….begging for peace.

I wasn’t able to stay long but the difference between the two rallies, the anti- Israel and the pro-Israel, is apparent to the eye and ear. The PEACEFUL, joyful  singing is always a hallmark of pro-Israel rallies and protests.

The anti-Israel Leftists and muslims scream, chant and pump angry hateful fists in the air, demanding DEATH to Israel.

THE TRUTH jumps out for all to see yet they, the media, turn away.

There was one cheeky protestor this day ( that I saw). She walked confidently passed me to the enclosed area  surrounded by police barricades.

She sat down Buddha-style and held her ‘peace sign’ for about 15 minutes. ” We are Humans. End the Fighting”… But, no mention of Hamas….just a Peace Symbol…

Police said she could stay. She held nothing that said she was opposing Israel. I asked some officers, could I do the same at a pro-Hamas /anti-Israel protest? Go in their enclosure with a coy little sign and sit down? Knowing that I would not care to be physically assaulted, the response to me says it all, “Would you want to?”

In NO danger from the pro-Israeli gathering she ‘meditated’ unmolested until she became a topic of discussion…exposed as a ‘protestor’…. she left.

Israel Day Parade 2014 (pics and vids)

June 1st, 2014. The Annual Israel Day Parade

The Israel Day Parade 2014 was superb!  The sidelines were full from 53rd to 73rd st.

New York is clearly a city full of Jewish people, religious and non-religious, AND non-Jewish such as moi! All who LOVE Israel! 35,000 people jammed Fifth Avenue.

Slide Show of Parade. The families, young and old. The banners. The Floats. A feast for the eyes and the heart.

A parade with a couple of surprises. Like….Camels! I got so excited I forgot to film them walking by.

So many people in the parade (and watching) that just crossing Fifth Avenue was a challenge.

A parade filled with fun, joy, music, dancing.

But, when this color guard appeared, time to remember that Never Forget has a powerful meaning for Israel and America, as well.

Back at 58th and 5th Avenue, the usual anti-Israel protestors, Neteuri Karta and their comrades, “progressives” in their own minds, stood  with their anti-Israel propaganda signs calling for the annihilation of Israel.

The UJA(United Jewish Federation) permitted the BDS (Boycott/Divest/Sanction) protestors to march in this year’s Celebration of Israel (again). Offensive. (Like this sign from a BDS Zabars protest)

New to me, this year, was the group protesting the GLBT participation; their signs and their “Giraffee”.

 As for the protestors marching IN the parade, I understand the anti-Israel/ BDS supporters were placed early, near the beginning. I’ve seen no pictures of their BDS protest marching. Only signs in Support of Israel.


Perhaps this is a good-thing, that any anti-Israel protestors at the parade are forgotten (at best).

A foolish decision by the UJA Federation , allowing anti-Israel BDSers IN the Israel Day Parade. Baffling.

Thankfully, in spite of their flawed leadership, Fifth Avenue on June 1, 2014 remained a CELEBRATION of Israel and NY.

There is a Syrian opposition that speaks out against military strike as well.

Rebel groups have voiced their opposition against a possible US-led strike on Syria, arguing that it would only serve American interests.

The Syrian Islamic Front posted a message on its Facebook page cautioning its followers against supporting a strike. The group stated that military intervention would only benefit Washington – not Syrians who are seeking to topple Assad.

Another group condemned the idea of a strike in a YouTube video, saying that “we reject Western military intervention in Syria and consider it a new aggression against Muslims.”

The statements go against the mainstream thinking of the Free Syrian Army, underlining the rift within the Syrian opposition.

The world teeters on the brink of WW 3 and Obama has led us there screaming NO. No War With Syria! NO WAY. No How.

NYC PROTEST ISRAELI GOV Release of 104 MURDERERS (7-30-13) pic/vids

People of Conscience were Urged to Join a PROTEST on Tuesday, July 30th, 2013, 12:30 to 2pm, across from the Israeli Consulate in NYC.

A DEMONSTRATION and PRESS CONFERENCE to PROTEST AGAINST THE PLANNED RELEASE BY THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT of 104 ARAB MURDERERS WITH THE BLOOD OF INNOCENT CIVILIANS ON THEIR HANDS.

Some of the organizations who supported this Press Conference included the Los Angeles-based Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors, B’nai Brith of Toronto, Rachel’s Children Reclamation Center, the International Committee for the Land of Israel and a Victims of Terror group.

On Sunday, July 28, 2013,  Israeli Cabinet Members Gideon Saar, Moshe Yaalon, Yitzchak Aharonovich, Yuval Steinitz, Sofa Landver, Yair Lapid, Shai Piron, Yael German, Yaakov Perry, Meir Cohen, Tzipi Livni, and Amir Peretz voted with PM Netanyahu to release 104 Arab murderers of Jewish men, women, and children in another one of its “goodwill” gestures intended to coax the so-called Palestinian Authority back to the table for “peace talks”.

The release of unrepentant murderers, who will be greeted as returning heroes by their fellow terrorists, is a repugnant action that endangers the lives of every Jewish citizen who lives in Israel. Every land for peace deal that Israeli and Jewish leaders have agreed to has brought war, terrorism, devastating property damage and loss, and left traumatized vast numbers of our precious Jewish citizenry.

Not only is the release of these terrorists a violation of the judicial process with all its moral and ethical values, but the entire pursuit of the elusive “peace” is an exercise in futility. The PA has NEVER changed its Charter calling for the extermination of Israel, so there is no point in pretending that “peace” talks can get anywhere. Their goal is the extermination of Israel

We call on PM Netanyahu to immediately retract his offer to release 104 Arab terrorists. We call on all Knesset Members with a Jewish conscience to urge the PM to withdraw the offer and to end the charade of “peace” talks. Israel should ONLY come to the table when the PA Charter is revised.

As Americans, we strongly object to the arm twisting being exercised by President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry. It is up to Israel, and an Arab entity that will recognize Israel’s right to exist, to determine the “peace” that they can construct.        Gary Bauer, in his July 30 report, tells us that President Obama, “citing the national security interests of the U.S.” issued an executive order releasing approximately $150 million to the PA. Bauer speculates that this was bribe money to get the PA to the point where they would talk about having talks. He insists that “taxpayer money should stay here…rather than being used to prop up the corrupt PA regime, which continues to honor Jihadist homicide bombers.” The fact that Mahmoud Abbas has declared all PA territory JUDENREIN, hasn’t evoked any response from Obama or his cohorts.

Anti-Israel Protest in Times Square “International Day of Al Quds”(2012)

Al-Quds means “the holy place” .

“The “holy place” they refer to is Jerusalem, which has a history going back about a thousand years BCE. Mohammed lived in 7th century Arabia, about 1,500 years after the city of Jerusalem arose. But he met (and waged war) against Jewish tribal peoples in the Arabian desert, borrowed ideas from Christianity and Judaism, and then had to discover a divine right to three holy places: Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem. The Muslim “right” to Jerusalem was solved by mythology. Mohammed flew on his horse to heaven, when he died in a tent in Arabia. But he flew from the Mosque of Omar in Jerusalem, so Muslims own Jerusalem, too. “

Cyrus McGoldrick- NY CAIR  (as he waits to speak…and “rap”)

Cyrus “the Raskol Khan” McGoldrick is an artist and community activist, an American Muslim of Iranian and Irish descent. A recent graduate of Columbia University in New York City, he is the Civil Rights Manager at the NY chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, and serves on the Board of Directors for Getting Out & Staying Out, a program dedicated to helping young men coming out of prison to stay out of prison. As an independent world/hip-hop musician specializing in voice, beats and live instruments (tenor sax, violin, piano), he has been performing since 2004 with various groups around the country. He is a voice for Islam, human rights and cultural understanding, featured in hundreds of concerts, rallies, panels, and local, national and international media.

Cyrus called for the boycotting of ‘Zionist” aka Jewish companies, invoking the image of the murderous Che and invited all “peace-loving people to voice their opposition to the “unjust and illegal occupation” of the great Al-Aqsa Mosque and the usurpation of the Holy Land by the Zionist regime. ”

Peace-loving? Like in “Hamas? Hezbollah?”  (VIDEO)

A disgusting and arrogant display of Jew-hatred and animosity for the U.S as well. Nothing changes as they  chastised the U.S. for supporting this ‘so-called’ State.

This was a lame event; poorly attended. Only about 100 showed up. Yet the organizers optimistically scheduled a huge block of time:  3:30  to 7 PM.( Big Fail). 

If interested, their face book page posted a few pictures up “tight and close” so the ‘pens’ look ‘packed’.  Usually whole families come out to these rallies. They were noticeably missing.

Every sign you read. Fiction. Fraud. A”history” of how Islam.. And claims that the Jews, the Brits and the U.S. have all ‘stolen’ the Holy Land for the Muslims.

Insanity .

Their genocidal banner was larger than the crowd.

Rabbi Mordechia Weberman from Neturei Karta. Neturei Karta is a Jewish group opposed the establishment of and retain all opposition to the existence of the so-called “State of Israel. The name was given to a group of Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem who refused (and still refuse) to recognize the existence or authority of the so-called “State of Israel” and made (and still make) a point of publicly demonstrating their position, the position of the Torah and authentic unadulterated Judaism.

Rebel Diaz is a political hip hop duo out of the Bronx, New York and Chicago, IL consisting of the Chilean brothers Rodrigo Venegas and Gonzalo Venegas. Rebel Diaz uses their music as an organizing tool and to spread knowledge about injustice.
