So much has been happening. Most recently, on July 13, 2020, there was a Prayer Event in support of the NYPD that began in Brooklyn. They then walked the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan’s City Hall.
The BLM THUGS, still occupying City Hall Park, blocked the bridge and attacked the police -with chains- leaving them bloodied. (They also attacked those who were in the prayer walk.) [NY Post]
Thugs destroying the city. Yet, every week MAYOR deBlasio seems incapable of ending the Occupy siege.
July 3rd was a small gathering of local Marxists demanding DEFUND the NYPD. But its seems no gathering is too small to maintain the revolution.
Also, at Foley Square, I found Center Street, in front of the court house, blocked off . Perhaps, to protect the buildings from Occupy anarchists. (or not)
Nope. The CITY was PAINTING another mayor-sanctioned BLM graffiti mural.
(Seems to have snuck in – announced on July 6)
Went back on July 11 to get pictures of their finished handiwork. (slide show)
Meanwhile, back to July 3rd. The DEFUND the NYPD protest had a familiar ring to it: “Capitalism bad. Socialism good. … the NYPD – very, very bad.”
BLACK Panthers, A-OK.

“Defund the NYPD – Fight Back with an ECRB”! was hosted by Hold Police Accountable with an Elected Civilian Review Board
“The NYPD must not only be defunded, they must be held accountable for their crimes! We are calling for:
An elected board from the community with the power to fire cops and hold police accountable
An NYC Independent prosecutor to prosecute criminal cases completely independent of the District Attorney’s office
Once established, an opening of all past cases of police murder and violence to win justice for families. Stand with the families who have lost loved ones to the NYPD, advocates and organizations and join us in calling for an Elected Civilian Review Board and Independent Prosecutor NOW!”

It was an uneventful protest.
Useless noise whose purpose was keeping their Soc/Commie members busy with incessant protests:
The police didn’t even bother to show up for this one.
