Antifa Riot against Curtis Sliwa’s “Stop Illegal Migration” at Gracie Mansion

On Aug 27,2023, at 2 pm, New Yorkers from across the 5 Burroughs tried to stem the tide. They demanded an America First reaction from Mayor Adams and his hard left City Council: Protect and Defend Americans FIRST. Something the prog/soc/commie left will never do.

The destruction of our cities is at the top of their list. Even the NYPD seemed to be compromised and confused thanks to our courts.

Occupy Gracie Mansion against Illegal Migration.

Curtis Sliwa and others led the protest, calling out Mayor Adams. Adams said he could house illegals at Gracie Mansion and then backed down. So, Staten Island and Brooklyn – Queens- were chosen to be drop off points. Shame on you, Mayor Adams and the misuse of public funds for illegal migrants.

Americans First.

.Four VIDEOS next – First,  an excerpted speech of Curtis Sliwa. Humidity was high. No matter, Curtis always delivers a powerful message: “Come here LEGALLY, or not at all. ” Had to struggle for clear shots, the crowd was hard to film over and it was HOT! Just look at Curtis’ jacket from behind. Meanwhile, “ONE TERM Mayor “ was a popular chant.

Video 2: ALSO present were two different groups of hard core leftists- some were Black Bloc/Antifa.  They overwhelmed the police. Took over the street. And assaulted the protestors. Ripping flags and signs to instigate fights. Curtis had warned the NYPD this would happen, yet they seemed unprepared. As the police scrambled to get control of the anarchists.

Video 3: When the NYPD finally got control of the chaos, the PRESS took a hit….for doing nothing but covering the protest. Many of the press were locked in a pen across from the protest. Also, peaceful protestors who came closer to 2 pm were denied entry. They were locked out at 86th street …the after math of the Rise/Resist/Antifa riot.

Video 4: As arranged, at the end of the Occupy Gracie Mansion protest, Sliwa and two octogenarians agreed to be arrested – bringing attention to the abuse Mayor Adams has caused to senior citizens who were displaced for the illegals.
I repeat, it was a very hot day. Everyone was drenched and the crunch of photographers made everything even more intense.

Flickr slide show part 1- Arrived 1:15 and both sides were already gathering as Curtis Sliwa led the protest. Sliwa’s peaceful protestors, who came closer to 2 pm, were denied entry after the lefties rioted. They were locked out at 86th street. This slide show is a compilation off all sides: Occupy Gracie, Leftists, police, press and the groups that got penned.

Part 2  Slide Show-The result of the lefties rioting was a confused lock down. Press, lefties, Curtis’ peaceful protestors. So many police standing in line to stem the confrontations…

IMG_6116 copy

Part 3  slide show- Sadly, peaceful protestors were locked out by the police, over a long block away.  (belated crowd control- after the Rise and Resist  riot) But the patriots still delivered their message: Americans First! There were many speakers – on message!  So, Mayor Adams, are you listening?

IMG_5894 copy

I observed aggressive acts by the thugs on the left but only two were arrested. However, there were newbies protesting Mayor Adams, who misread who were the leftists. Using masks as a code for leftards and they acted out. I think one was arrested. Other than that- it is almost ALWAYS the Rise and Resist/Antifas who assault any one on the right.

.The big question : Does NYC have to House the World.

“…. New York’s liberal elites are arguing over whether the “right to shelter” only applies to New York’s mentally impaired derelicts and addicts or those of the entire world who have been arriving in endless numbers as part of the Biden administration’s open borders policy.

Never was it envisioned that this would be an unlimited universal right or obligation on the city to have to house literally entire world,” Gov. Hochul protested.

Mayor Eric Adams …. has gone to court to suspend the disastrous 1979 ‘Right to Shelter’ consent decree. Legally speaking he’s likely to lose because the city’s radical courts have repeatedly held that everyone has the right to be housed even if it’s a right that has no actual legal basis. Curtis Sliwa protested Staten Island illegal shelters: NOT HERE! NOT NOW.

On August 20, 2023, Curtis Sliwa was arrested, again, along with Scott Lobaido and others. This time during a protest in Staten Island, against housing of migrants in Midland Beach senior housing.

Curtis Sliwa and other anti-illegal migrant activists blocked the street outside of a Senior Residence in Staten Island tentatively planned to be turned into a migrant center. They chanted – re evicting the senior residents with : “Close the border!”

“The leftists in our city government hate America”

However, the NYPD declared the protesters blocking the road to be an unlawful assembly and moved in to make arrests after their warnings were ignored.

The Staten Island  protestors supported Rule-of-Law against the egregious abuses perpetrated by hard-core leftists.

Open borders: NOT HERE! NO WAY!

However, is this  two steps forward, and one step back. Mayor Adam’s’ head is now on the chopping-block of financial fraud.

The FBI investigation into Mayor Eric Adams is focused on campaign money, favors and possible foreign influence, according to officials briefed on the investigation. Adams has a long and proud relationship with the Turkish-American community of New York City, and he has made a half a dozen trips to Turkey.Nov 14, 2023

Is he the perpetrator or simply ineffectual. Whatever, affective change from City Hall seems illusive.

SEVEN VIDEOS. thoughtful speakers who made ir clear that passivity is not the answer.#1 But first,  a playful arrival of the President’s “Limo”

#2 The speakers began with local artist, Scott LoBaido: never forget Staten Island is an Island Of Immigrants

#3 Speakers continue with John Matland

#4 … I don’t  have his name … a community  activist who shared his unique perspective to our government gone mad.

#5 The main speaker, organizer, Curtis Sliwa spoke before the arrests.

#6- Midland Beach protesters blocked the avenue in Part 1 of the arrests. First they blocked the street .

#7 Midland Beach protesters,  now in Part 2: they are arrested for civil disobedience.

The final question, as we proceed towards 2024 … re the abuses, the media, the war against loyal Americans…. it does not abate. Can we hope to stop this conspiracy?

UPDATE:

Is the New York nursing home turned into a migrant shelter?

The Department of Social Services (DSS) spokesman told the Staten Island Advance in September the former senior living facility would be turned into a migrant shelter for 113 families with private rooms and meal services. [Nov 30, 2023]

The Island Shores Residences in Staten Island are now known as the Midland Beach Migrant Center.

A 94-year-old US Army veteran is blasting his Staten Island assisted living home for kicking him out then cutting a deal to welcome migrants — saying it’s “not fair” he was sent packing.

Frank Tammaro was given less than two months’ notice he and 53 other seniors would have to move out of Island Shores Residences in March, and had to make other living arrangements.

GOP leaders from the borough have slammed the city and the nonprofit that owns the facility for what they called a “shady deal” to house migrants.

The decision led outraged Staten Islanders to protest in front of the shelter, with some physically blocking the arrival of an MTA bus carrying asylum seekers.

The group of protesters halted traffic after intercepting the bus on Sept. 19. A total of 10 people were taken into custody, with nine being issued summonses [AGAIN] for disorderly conduct.

Sadly, the government marches on.
Their agenda:

“They’re worried about the migrants more than they’re worried about the US citizens,” …. Homes for the Homeless declined to comment.

America FIRST was shoved out the door.
Protests…. are they a waste of energy?

Never Is Now – Cooper Union Rally NYC

Oct 29, 2023. Curtis Sliwa joined those who came out in a steady rain at Cooper Union to challenge the constant LIES that Hamas and the anti-Israel protestors feed to the media.

Curtis always supports the Israelis and Jews here at home with the current message BRING THEM HOME NOW!

Those who were able to endure the steady rain til the end left with flyers in a reusable shopping bag with tape, ready to do battle with the vandals who tear the kidnapped posters: They must be stopped!

NY Young Republicans Re-Occupy Wall Street: Let the People Trade!

Ted Cruz – We shouldn’t have one rule for rich hedge funds in Manhattan and a different set of rules for every other American.

January 31. 2021. Noon. A small crowd braved the bitter cold in Zuccotti Park, scene of the once infamous Occupy Wall Street encampment of 2011 (2011 Flickr Link).

Today the NYC Young Republican Club was out to RE-Occupy Zuccotti, demanding that The People be allowed to trade.

The group is co-opting the Occupy name to push populist policies in light of the GameStop short selling fiasco.

“Wall Street hedge fund hypocrites, “corporate oligarchs”  are “screwing the little people”. One more assault on our economy as the world according to Biden and the CCP communists continues to spiral.” [NY Post]

This whole mess with #WallStreet is about to make people on BOTH the Left and Right realize we have found the new class of “robber barons”—hedge fund managers.

The main speaker of the event was Curtis Sliwa, leader of the Guardian Angels and candidate for Mayor of New York.

Sliwa challenged the crowd with, “They screwed the little people once, let’s get these hedge-fund monsters before they get us.”

He also called-out the hypocritical Wall Street bankers who took billions of dollars in tax-funded bailouts in 2008, only to now cry foul.

Just before the presser began, this fellow started shouting at the crowd – particularly about the CCP. (very short video)

According to the Young Republicans, Sunday’s protest wasn’t about political affiliations — they dubbed it a non-partisan event.

“There’s two standards, Wax said in a speech to protesters,  “There’s rules for thee, not for me. You got these big hedge-fund guys who are trying to short companies into the ground, and then they got called on their bluff by a bunch of anonymous day traders on Reddit.”

Gavin Wax video –

They want us to bail them out, they want Janet Yellen to make phone calls for them, they want to shut down trading. Are you kidding me? These schmucks in Wall Street or Greenwich can do whatever the hell they want to do with no repercussions.”  Gavin Wax at @NYYRC rally

He then introduced, Viswanag B. Burra – Vice President New York Young Republican Club [ video ]

A published statement, from their President, Gavin Wax (@GavinWax)

“Fellow patriots,

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, Sunday, January 31, at 12:00 pm as we gather in Zuccotti Park to RE-OCCUPY WALL STREET.

Over the past few days, we have seen how corporate oligarchs who work in connection with key members of the Biden administration have corrupted the integrity of our financial markets in a blatant manner by directing retail brokerages to freeze trading for small investors while institutional investors operate unimpeded.

As rumors percolate that the SEC may attempt to unwind trades in certain companies conducted over the past few days, our protest to LET THE PEOPLE TRADE becomes ever more critical.

And remember: unlike the original “Occupiers,” we will assemble peaceably and in accordance with civilized standards of decorum. No shitting in the streets.”

Gavin Wax, President
New York Young Republican Club [https://nyyrc.com/

Reports from NY Post and Breitbart:

[Breitbart]

“Members of the New York Young Republicans staged a “Re-Occupy Wall Street” demonstration Sunday over the financial sector’s manipulation of GameStop stock after a Reddit group launched a buying surge.

GameStop, a mall retailer of video games and electronic accessories, saw shares soar more than 1,700 percent this week when amateur day traders bought massive amounts of the stock to protest Wall Street short-sellers who were banking on GameStop’s failure.

It was co-ordinated. There needs to be repercussions,” Wax said of the institutions’ efforts to shut down amateur trading.

The Reddit page WallStreetBets initially organized the mass buy.

As the stock skyrocketed and hedge funds lost billions of dollars, trading apps tried to block additional sales of the stock. One of the apps, RobinHood, faces a class-action lawsuit.”

[NY Post] [NY Post 2]

“Dozens of members of the New York Young Republicans Club jumped on the anti-Wall Street bandwagon Sunday, gathering in Manhattan’s Zuccotti Park to blast the hedge-fund managers targeting GameStop.

The “Re-Occupy Wall Street” protesters ripped the big-money investors as “despicable” for moving to stop last week’s “little guy” Reddit-fueled run on the video-game-seller’s stock to shore it up after the money men bet on it tanking.

“There’s some blatant corruption going on in the buildings around us and in Greenwich, [Ct.], wherever hell they are,” Gavin Wax, the group’s president, told about 50 protesters.”
