Fairfax Supervisors Submit To Saudi Shell Game: Will Approve Expansion of Sharia Compliant School Despite Neighborhood Outrage, Legal Troubles, Environmental, Traffic and Public Safety Concerns. Our Supervisors Place Saudi and Developer Interests Over Its Citizens.
On Aug. 3, the FXCO Board will vote to approve a special exception for the expansion of the Islamic Saudi Academy’s (ISA) Pope’s Head Rd. Campus. However, the Supervisors and the Saudis are the only ones who want it, and are willing to do so at all costs. They are ignoring:
- The neighboring homeowners associations who do not want this expansion.
- The multiple land use and legal issues that would have killed any other application.
- ISA failures to honor County agreements and State law.
- The substance of a sharia compliant Saudi curriculum that has been taught for over 20 years and has produced a convicted terrorist and a school director convicted for covering up child abuse.
Our elected officials are more scared of Saudi lawyers and developer contributions than their obligations to due diligence, equitable application of the law, and the public welfare. Remind them who’s the boss, you the citizen, call your Supervisor now.
