Say NO!! to IVAW’s Adam Kokesh, “Republican”?!!!! for Congress?

On February 1, 2008, on 126th Street in Manhattan, the Gathering of Eagles met up with and countered the IVAW (Iraq Veterans Against the War) along with their traitorous leader, Adam Kokesh. A man who now has pretentions of sitting in the Congress of the United States. Kokesh mocks this pursuit for office by masquerading as a Republican.

Google this guy and it’s difficult to find the God’s honest truth about Kokesh and his fellow traitors. It’s an outrage! Stop this rude assault on the Congress of the United States of America.

UPDATE:

More info on Kokesh here at http://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=395

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Ron Paul and son are supporting this masquerade as a” Repub” in New Mexico: “Say NO” to Adam Kokesh, “Republican”?!!!! candidate for Congress in New Mexico’s third district.

And the pictures below are from an IVAW recruitment/indoctrination event that was held at Brooklyn College…. It’s disgusting….

Vodpod videos no longer available.

..

And for the curious this is the video Kokesh made with Ron Paul’s son. Take note as you watch: Adam Kokesh is the anti-American protestor from the IVAW who said that Americans murdered innocent Iraqis.

Adam Kokesh is one of the few EX-Marines you hear of sometimes. He brought back a pistol from Iraq, left it in his car, had it stolen on a college campus, was arrested for it and turned over to NCIS… busted from Sgt to Cpl and given a General under Honorable discharge.

He is running for Congress in New Mexico!

The people of New Mexico deserve better. AMERICA deserves better! Who does he think he is? John Kerry??

  1. The real insult is the rude assault on our civil liberties by the pampered puppets residing in luxury at our expense in the Congress. I weep for our once great Republic; at least Mr. Kokesh is attempting to bring about change to this outrageous situation.

A politician is supposed to be a stepford person in a suit who doesn’t take a position on anything until his aids research what’s most advantageous for him to think, based on which crowd of imbeciles is largest and most accessible. Kokesh needs to leave this business to the pros like Palin and Obama. I can’t believe he would attempt to reason things out and offer actual ideas based on his experience and thought. He needs to talk to people like mr. Americanvalues and realize that most Americans discover their values by inserting their heads in their posteriors.

he has already shown his incredibly poor judgment by aligning himself with radical leftists, communists and other assorted malcontents. he has no working knowlege of the world. he spent one toour in iraq, was booted out of the military, and then got work as a george soros supported anti-bush/anti-america/anti-military rabble rouser. he lived in a dirty communal slum apartment in washington dc.

suddenly, a little over a year later he turns up in a suit and a tie in new mexico and wants all of us to believe that he is a reasonable and thoughtful guy.

I suggest you get a little historical perspective yourself. Washington, Jefferson and Adams were dealing with a situation where a foreign war threatened to split the young United States. So Washington, and then Adams, threaded their way very carefully to stay out of it. It has no relationship to the situation today where the United States was attacked. Almost three thousand of our citizens were killed in the most hideous fashion. Since the primary purpose of government is to protect its citizens then it is its duty to ensure that no further attacks are possible.

Learn more about our recent history. The CIA has been overthrowing governments in the middle east since the early 50’s and installing puppet governments. In the 80’s Saddam and the Afghani “Freedom Fighters” were our friends. We provided them with the weapons and training. We then stayed and built bases on their land. We try to westernize them. We put sanctions on Iran per Israel’s request. It’s no different. If you don’t learn from history you’ll be doomed to repeat it.

Their antics caused about 7 members of the Metro Police to have to stand guard out in front of the station for hours. How’s that for how he disrupts the recruiters, the city and wastes our tax dollars. His big lug bully friend Jeff Millard threatened to find out where I live that day because I interrupted an interview he was giving (he referred to me and my Son as terrorists). I remember Kokesh when he tried to stage a re-enactment of the Winter Soldier testimony of the traitor John Kerry days! We disrupted both of these events and the Winter Soldier nonsense was a debacle. Adam Kokesh is a phony who reinvents himself yearly. After many of the Iraq Veterans Against the War were exposed for being phonies, he must have decided that wasn’t a good front for him anymore so now he has decided to align himself with the Repulblican party? The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few.” — James Madison

Who’s the commies? The big govt, big spending, war-mongering neocons who have taken up roost in the Republican Party and have banished Reagan republicans from the premises are the REAL commies. Literally! The Neocons philosophical heritage comes straight from Leo Trotsky.

To the author of this blog and Travlyr, go read some books and quit being used as commie agitators. You have no clue whatsoever what traditional American conservatism is.

Non-interventionism is an American CONSERVATIVE position held by the Founding Fathers all the way through to Robert Taft and through World War 2 and the Korean and Vietnam wars. Why? Because they knew from history that extended wars BANKRUPT nations and replace freedom with tyranny at home.

All the wars of the 20th century were started by LIBERALS at the objection of conservatives. Until the Bushes came along and took up the banner of that great Progressive Woodrow Wilson and also the commie Leo Trotsky of “making the world safe for democracy” using the military and “worldwide democratic revolution”.

George Will, the most credentialed CONSERVATIVE commentator alive called Bush Jr. the most LEFTIST and the most LIBERAL president in the HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES. George Will called Bush Jr. a WILSONIAN. Woodrow Wilson is considered THE progressive president. “Progressive” is cutting edge ultra-LIBERAL.

Conservatives have always been for small govt, jeffersonian libertarianism and non-interventionism. The derisive term “isolationism” described CONSERVATIVES. Democrats started all wars until the liberal Bushes came along and assumed the mantle.

Adam Kokesh’s philosophies are nearly identical to Reagan’s. Reagan was a non-interventiost and used the military the least of any president in the 20th century. The NEOCONS wanted Reagan to start a real war with the Soviet Union and he told them to buzz off.

Neoconservatives, which came over to the Republican Party in the 1970’s after the Scoop Jackson campaign for president have a heritage in the philosophies of the pre-eminent communist Leo Trotsky and believe in big govt, big spending and warmongering… the OPPOSITE of conservatism.

The neocons in Reagan’s administration (rumsfeld, cheney, wolfowitz) continually pestered and battled Reagan to start a LIVE WAR with the Soviet Union and he told them to buzz off.

The current Republican leaders are conservative IMPOSTERS and their philosophies diametrically oppose the real conservatism of the Founding Fathers through Reagan.

These undeclared wars are creating more enemies– how would you feel if the Chinese landed on our shores, and installed military bases throughout the U.S. ? They ran around in circles out in front of the recruiting station that day yelling silly slogans against our Soldiers and the War. You have got to be kidding me! Somebody needs to alert the party to do a better job vetting candidates. Adam Kokesh is a self indulgent little boy who needs to go find a commune somewhere and fool the mindless…he isn’t fooling any of us.

I sincerely doubt that all the members of the 82nd Airborne are supporting Adam Kokesh. My Son served in the 82nd and I know how he and his brothers felt about the IVAW. My Son’s comment about the IVAW was “they shouldn’t have signed up for college during a war!”

He has failed to support his statement which is now proven false.

      • It seems that Congress has granted the President an authority he is not supposed to have, if I read your Constitution correctly. This is in essence a transfer of power from the legislature to the executive, witch goes directly against the supreme law of the land. If, like in this case, Congress passes a law wich gives the President the power to both “declare” war, and to direct the troops as Commander in Chief, it is by conception an arbitrary law. Your Constitution specifically places the power to declare war on the elected representatives of Congress. They have to specify a reason for why the nation needs to be taken to war, and also define what the goal is, so that you ensure against the possibility of perpetual war. In addition they have the sole power to withdraw funding if the President wages a war that goes beyond the mandate given.

So I don’t see this resolution you refer to as any proof of legality regarding the war in Iraq.

  23. We are posting to express our grave concerns about Adam Kokesh, who is aspiring to become the Republican nominee for US Congress from New Mexico’s 3rd district. Mr. Kokesh has an extensive, and well-documented history of affiliations with radical leftist groups. In concert with these groups he has engaged in numerous anti-America and anti-military demonstrations and protests. Moreover, Mr. Kokesh does not appear to have any personal qualifications that would recommend him for serious consideration as a candidate for the Republican Party. He has a significant history suggestive of poor character and judgment, and he has notable incidents of direct activism against Republican office holders.

    Affiliations with radical leftist groups
Mr. Kokesh joined the Iraq Veterans Against War (IVAW) in February 2007, at which time he was 25 years old. The IVAW was formed by the Vietnam Veterans Against War (VVAW), the now infamous group, formed by John Kerry in 1970, and responsible for the fraudulent maligning of our Vietnam veterans at the Winter Soldier Conference in 1971. It will be recalled that John Kerry now stands exposed as having repeated false accusations from that conference, during Congressional testimony in 1971. Similar to the VVAW, the IVAW is a virulently anti-military, anti-America group. It holds the view that our country is an imperialistic and expansionistic “One World Order” government, and that our military is but a tool of this government. Further, they believe that our soldiers are little more than marauders and murderers who, in the words of John Kerry, behave “in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan”.
Mr. Kokesh was active in the IVAW from 2007 to 2009, at which time he announced his candidacy for Republican Congressman from New Mexico. There are no indications that he has revoked his affiliations with the IVAW. As an active member of the IVAW, Mr. Kokesh was involved in numerous anti-military, and by explicit extension, anti-Bush/Republican activities and actions. While executing these actions, Mr. Kokesh knowingly and gladly, made common cause with a wide array of other well-known, radical anti-America and communist groups. The list of these other groups includes, but is by no means limited to, the following:
    SDS
    Code Pink
    A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition
    United for Justice and Peace
    Communist Party of America
    Muslim Brotherhood
    Black Panthers
In cooperation with the above-named groups and the IVAW, Mr. Kokesh: participated in multiple anti-war demonstrations in Washington DC, and other cites throughout the country; organized and incited violent demonstrations at military recruiting stations; participated in an initiative to encourage active duty soldiers to desert their military post; organized and participated in a Winter Soldier Conference 2, an effort designed to malign and undercut the moral of our soldiers who were fighting and dying on the battlefield. Even a most cursory search of the Internet will yield a plethora of documents attesting to the veracity of these assertions.

Personal character questions, and anti-Republican Party activities
Apart from his considerable radical leftist affiliations and activities, there many concerns about Mr. Kokesh’s general personal qualifications for congressman; and we have specific concerns about the appropriateness of his being considered for being a Republican congressman. Mr. Kokesh has no history of personal accomplishments or achievement, yet he does have a notable history of poor judgment and illegal behavior. Moreover, he has no history of supporting the Republican Party, and in fact has been actively unsupportive and undermining of the Party.
Mr. Kokesh’s personal accomplishments and achievements appear to be limited to his having served in the Marine Corps from 1999 until 2006, and his political activism with the IVAW from 2007 until 2009. His MC service was basically unremarkable, in terms of citations, medals, and commendations, and it was ultimately marked by a demotion in his discharge rank, from Sergeant to Corporal, and a downgrading of his discharge status from honorable to general. Mr. Kokesh’s tenure with the IVAW has been noted above and need not be repeated here.
There are no indications that Mr. Kokesh has ever maintained any private sector employment, and unless otherwise proven, it might be assumed that his ‘work’ with the IVAW was financed through contributions to that organization, finances that often originated in leftist organizations such as MoveOn.org. Other than an undergraduate degree in Psychology, there are no indications that Mr. Kokesh has achieved any academic standing that might, given his young age and his otherwise lack of general accomplishments, recommend him for serious consideration for Congress.
There are numbers of incidents in Mr. Kokesh’s personal life that suggest that he employs poor judgment, and that he has trouble coping with stress. Examples of his poor judgment include the following: he smuggled a gun home from Iraq, and then was apprehended when he bought it onto a college campus; he has incited protestors to engage in violent actions against military recruiting stations, and; he incited unrest on a college campus by hanging racist poster around the campus, and signed the posters as being a member of the college conservative Republican organization.

Given the above, it is our position that Mr. Kokesh is in no way qualified to represent the Republican Party in Congress. In fact, if his history is any indicator of his future performance, it is most likely that he will behave in a manner that is antithetical to the positions and values of the Republican Party. In our view, a Kokesh candidacy will at best, precipitate much conflict within the Republican Party, and, at worst, invite derision from outside of the party.

Like you, we are interested in maintaining the integrity of the Republican Party. We understand that this is a time when the party leadership is striving to reconcile disparate ideas within the party, and to clarify its unified voice. A Kokesh candidacy would be completely at odds with those strivings and ideals.

My suggestion to you is that your baby boomer generation had it’s chance and you’ve left our political system in shambles, so it’s time for you to get out of the way. You’ve demonstrated that you are incapable of electing true fiscally conservative republicans to congress. The youth, whose shoulders will lay the burden of debt caused by your generation’s apathy and recklessness have stood up and done what you all are incapable to do and that is support people who will not spend one penny we do not have, not vote for one penny of debt (including military spending), and will only vote the constitution. Anything else will just continue the destruction of this country.

I have a theory on why your generation has dropped the ball when it comes to preserving liberty in this country and that is your generation was the first one to be raised on television. It’s an easy medium to control and fill with propaganda and influence large amounts of people. My generation on the other hand has been raised with the internet, otherwise known as the marketplace of ideas. So please, step aside, we’ll clean up this mess you all have made.

Back to the point of this post…you think the answer to ‘preserving liberty’ lies in ADAM KOKESH??Kokesh marched with radical groups because he enjoyed their company and agreed with them(not Republicans …not conservatives) with RADICALS. The GOP/Conservatives have no use for any more counterfeit-conservative, morally deficient RINO’s. Any more you can contribute as to where the hypocrite/fraud named Adam Kokesh fits in this grand scheme of yours?

      • All generational conflicts aside, the fact is that the Republican party has a long tradition of bucking the norms and having diverse candidates. Adam represents this better than anyone else in this race. Furthermore, for the sake of argument, just hypothetically, let’s say Adam in fact isn’t a true Republican. He is the only one on the Republican ticket who has a chance at flipping the 15,000 Democrat votes needed to actually win in New Mexico’s 3rd District. And it’s an indisputable fact that Kokesh will be a far better Representative than Lujan is.
And let’s say he does win and you disagree with him. Most of the greatest Americans (i.e. Henry Clay) were great not because they managed to pound the other side into submission, but because they were able to compromise where they could, respectfully disagree where they couldn’t, and remain honest no matter what. Kokesh can and will do that, something no one else in this race can say.

        Like

      • americanvalues

I repeat: When Kokesh was with IVAW, he marched with the RADICAL groups International ANSWER, Code Pink, SDS and others of the far-left ilk. The IVAW (and Kokesh) have conducted campaigns to convince active-duty US military to illegally renege on their oaths of service. Kokesh illegally purchased a firearm while he was a Marine overseas and then illegally carried it onto the grounds of a US college campus. That was against the law. What part of breaking the law don’t you understand? Also, Kokesh lied about being in the college Republican Club during an anti-war action he participated in while he attended that school. You state, “…because they were able to compromise…. and remain honest no matter what. Kokesh can and will do that…”HONESTY has not been a characteristic of Kokesh to date. Adam Kokesh is seriously damaged goods and the voters of New Mexico deserve to know his FULL story. They deserve HONESTY not a FRAUD and aTRAITOR. Kokesh has no respect for America and her Constitution which will NOT “make him a better Representative”.

      • Firstly, please hit the “reply” button before you post, otherwise it gets confusing.
One, your entire argument is that because Kokesh worked with groups that some consider radical, he is automatically a radical, when he has repeatedly stated in interviews that he often disagreed with them as much as others. It’s faulty logic of “because x is y and y is z, x is z”.
Now, as for the gun, no one is saying he didn’t do it, but let me ask you this: was it a violent crime? Did it harm anybody? The gun was stolen out of his truck, and knowing the repercussions, Kokesh still filed a report. When he was called on to answer for his actions, he admitted them and took his punishment. All this incident shows is that Kokesh is an honest man who made a mistake, and in no way does this somehow prove that Kokesh is unfit for office. As for saying he will not be better in office, are you saying the Democrat incumbent is better than Kokesh? That would truly be non-Republican of you! And please for the love of the Constitution stop throwing around the word traitor like it’s confetti. The definition of traitor is strictly defined in the Constitution, and is the gravest of crimes in our nation. You have the right to disagree, but do not resort to false accusations of crimes.
I agree that New Mexicans deserve to know the full story, and the facts are, they have access to that. This very discussion proves that.
