A look at Times Square on NewYears Eve (day) and then Jan 1, 2010..

New Years Eve Day-Times Square(Good Bye 2009) Leading up to New Years Eve…looking at the closing down of Times Square (to handle the crowds) Getting ready to say hello to 2010. First 14 pictures are looking around at approximately 12:45 PM…The crowd was already setting up. Then back at about 3 PM and the CRUNCH was on!

Part 2 – New Years Day, 2010: the day after…. The city wasn’t totally cleared of the confetti (statue of George M. Cohan was still a bit glittery with blue confetti)

but all else was business as usual. A huge crowd looking for tickets to a Broadway show and others…just doing the Times Square stroll…
