17th Annual Running of the Great North River Tugboat Race – 2009

Video is in three parts of “The 17th Annual Running of the Great North River Tugboat Race & Competition”. It took place on Sunday 6 September, 2009 at Pier 84 (44th St) North River – Hudson River Park, NYC.

Part 1 is as the tugs head up the Hudson to 79th St and the start of the race:
