Celebrate the 2nd Amendment – Feb 4 in Raleigh, NC!!

Join with hundreds of fellow patriots as we celebrate the
2nd Amendment of our Constitution and demand an end to the infringements of our Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

February 4, 2009
2:00 till 6:00pm.
Raleigh, North Carolina
W. Jones St, from Salisbury St to Wilmington St,
facing the State Legislature.

Join with hundreds of fellow Americans, peaceably assembled to seek a redress of grievances from government officials who are not respecting our Constitutional Civil Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

As American citizens , We have a responsibility to protect and preserve ALL of the rights, freedoms and protections guaranteed ALL Americans by the Bill of Rights and the 13th, 14th, 15th and 19th Amendments. These are our Constitutional civil rights and liberties, they are a birth right of ALL Americans extended to all naturalized citizens.

Call them Constitutional Rights, Civil Rights or Civil Liberties they are one and the same and mean as much to tens of millions of gun owners, conservatives and Constitutionalists as do other Civil Rights to other groups of people.

No more gun bigotry, No more infringement.

For 70 to 80 years there have been groups of people that have made dozens, perhaps hundreds of attempts to disarm American citizens. After trying so many times to ban certain types of guns, tax certain kinds and outlaw gun ownership outright they have grown impatient trying to find a way around that pesky 2nd Amendment. Now they have added the tactic of controlling and restricting the purchase of ammunition.

In the next four years (at least) we are going to have to fight to maintain our Right to Keep and Bear Arms. This incoming congress and president are no friends of the Constitution, they are of the group that would have Americans disarmed.

Anti-gun activist Reverend Melvin Whitley (Durham, NC) has been promoting a “Bullet Ownership Bill,” which would require anyone who wishes to purchase ammunition to first acquire a permit. While his efforts have yet to gain any traction, this year Whitley is hoping the Durham City Council will add his bill to its agenda of legislative proposals submitted to the North Carolina General Assembly.

This may seem like a rather harmless measure to some, but not to me. And not to alot of other people. We’ve watched the anti-gunners chip away at the foundation of the 2nd Amendment for decades. It’s only going to get worse.

If we dont start fighting back NOW, we may lose the part of the Constitution that guarantees the rest of it.
