Marxists Occupy City Hall, refuse to leave: where’s Mayor “Red Bill”?

The Revolution leading towards a United States of Socialism has many demands. (and loves to curse)
Nurtured in Occupy Villages, that spring up predictably, they :  Appear to be spontaneous. Peaceful. Temporary. Then change your collective minds. Take to the streets from Occupy base camp. Game ON!

Which brings me to the New York Occupy City Hall Encampment. It was suppose to end on June 30th, after the City Council vote to “Defund the NYPD“.

July 1, 2020, there was now no doubt, the anarchists were not leaving. They will never be satisfied. The now claim this autonomous zone to be untouchable.

Once the Occupy City Hall anarchists took over this public space –  on June 23 – it grew quickly. The disaffected youth rushed to be a part of a revolution.

According to their signs, it’s about so much more than just “defunding”.

No matter the issues, hundreds gathered supposedly to support the Black Lives Matter charade. That was enough to keep the fervor at a pitch.

On Friday, June 26, 2020, I dropped by to take a look at the camp site. 10 years after covering Occupy Wall Street, I wandered through this newest village of Marxist occupiers.  Mayor “Red Bill” de Blasio has always been enthralled with Communism  so he encouraged this “peaceful” encampment to take root.

The necessary participants: disaffected twenty somethings. Looking for a life. a family . a community. Creating little towns with libraries, bodegas, first aid stations, gardens and the very necessary “learning circles”where they willingly listen to hours of indoctrination.

And food. there was plenty of FREE food (donated to the collective).

Throw in, camping in squalor: Happy campers.

June 30th arrived and the “village” was no longer temporary, nor peaceful. In the very early morning hours of the 30th, the day of the City Council vote, the defacing of public property ended all pretense.  The police were now dealing with the hard core resistance.

On the 26th, I overheard a speaker in the learning circle , give this outrageous advice: If you have a job, QUIT YER JOB!

This is how to create a generation lost to Marxism. Dependent. Isolated. Cared for by the collective

Without question, they were ready to storm the streets and deface buildings. Mayor “Red Bill” must be so proud (or maybe not)  [link to UPI photo]

AN AUTONOMOUS ZONE IN NYC WAS CREATED AT THE INVITATION OF THE MAYOR. LAWLESSNESS! ISN’T GROSS INCOMPETENCE ENOUGH FOR GOV. CUOMO TO REMOVE HIM? [Mayor Giuliani]

Deftly manipulated by the Socialist/Marxist machine, our cities have been overwhelmed by this Red Tide; these mobs. November 2020 is more important than ever. G-d Help us if we don’t stop them.

…. they are planning to VOTE …

Linda Sarsour: She’s baack (demands 1st amendment, peaceful assembly)

May 11, 2020/ Foley Square.
Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory lead an
“ILLEGAL” protest against police brutality.

FIRST. There were the ILLEGAL arrests for peaceful assembly on Saturday, May 9, 2020,  NINE patriots ARRESTED by the NYPD for peaceably walking – with American flags – outside NY City Hall. HOWEVER, Mayor “RED BILL “de Blasio has OUTLAWED our First Amendment right to peaceful assembly. So, on May the 9th, the NYPD were willing puppets – violating those CONSTITUTIONAL rights.

This isn’t Germany!” one yelled during the protest. The arrests come as Gov. Andrew Cuomo extended the state’s stay-at-home lockdown until at least June 7. According to NYPD data, 374 summons “for violations of emergency procedures and acts liable to spread disease” were issued between March 16 and May 5. [NY Post]

Two days later, it was a different game. May 11, 2020. Same Police. Same City. Same Mayor. But, the hardcore leftists, lead by Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory, FREELY assembled in Foley Square (across from the Court House).

IMG_2453

There were many police standing (and just watching) as these outraged Marxists trashed the NYPD and challenged one of their own: Mayor “Red Bill” de Blasio.

Marching from Foley to 1 Police Plaza they were allowed to ASSEMBLE, MARCH and PROTEST. unchallenged,

IMG_2100

NO ARRESTS. NO CEASE AND DESIST. Because Linda and Tamika called the shots. Even the mayor seems to fear the leftist mob and their new found (convenient) love of our Constitution.

NEXT, on Wednesday, May 13, at 2 pm. Patriots will attempt to exercise the same Constitutional First Amendment Rights. AGAIN. Outside City Hall. PEACEFUL ASSEMBLY.

“How much longer?  New Yorkers are fed up with being kept in lock down. Unemployment is rising, businesses are shut down for miles on end, restrictions are being enforced to the point of absurdity.  The longer we are kept in what appears to be a perpetual lock down, the lower our ‘herd immunity’ to other viruses and colds becomes. We become poorer and businesses will never be able to re-open.  We worked with temporary restrictions. We gave up our rights temporarily to freedom of religion and assembly. We gave up our jobs & seeing our family.  ENOUGH!  Other states are reopening with new guidelines. There are NO valid reasons why NYC is not doing the same. It’s time to let Mayor Moron DeBlasio know that he can not take away our Constitutional rights. He can not shut the city down permanently. We must be able to return to work and businesses must be allowed to re-open with guidelines. We must be able to return to our houses of worship. Opening a few streets for NYC residents to walk up and down like zombies is not the answer. “

Stand Up For New York City!

Wanna bet things don’t go well?

Free Speech Assault! Tell NYC Mayor de Blasio “We Won’t Pay the Fine!”

SAY NO TO Mayor Bill de Blasio and his FREE SPEECH POLICE!

DSC_9170.jpg
October 7, 2019. 5 pm. outside NY City Hall. A protest was planned in support of Free Speech.

NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio wants to impose fines of up to $250k on New Yorker’s for using the term”Illegal Alien” If this isn’t enough, he also wants to legislate that we cannot tell “Illegal Aliens” to speak in English, in an English Speaking United States! He also suggests that reporting “Illegals Aliens” to ICE is a Hate Crime.” Tell Bill How You feel! We support LEGAL Immigration. [Face Book]

This was a great idea for a protest so I headed downtown to City Hall, looking forward to challenging Mayor de Blasio and his Marxist/Socialist Free Speech fines; fines that diminish our rights as American Citizens. The message, tell “Red Bill” de Blasio: WE Won’t Pay!

The city’s Commission on Human Rights releases a new 29-page directive …

The directive reads “‘Alien’ — used in many laws to refer to a ‘non-citizen’ person — is a term that may carry negative connotations and dehumanize immigrants, marking them as ‘other,’…The use of certain language, including ‘illegal alien’ and ‘illegals,’ with the intent to demean, humiliate, or offend a person or persons constitutes discrimination.”

The directive goes on to list several examples of acts and comments that would run afoul of the restrictions, including harassing people over their accents or grasp of English, or wielding the threat of a call to Immigration and Customs Enforcement as a tool of hate. [de Blasio Fine]

When de Blasio ran for Mayor, NYC was warned he had a love affair with Cuba and Marxism; a warning ignored. (see presser from 2013)

Now, in his second term, the Marxist/Socialist list has grown. However, missing from the on-line list, Margaret Chin and Ydanis Rodriguez. And previous city council members, elected to other jobs, Jumaane Williams, now Public Advocate and Letitia James, now Attorney General of NY State: Movin’ on up.

New York City Working Families

Tiffany Cabán District Attorney, Queens County
Margarita López Torres Surrogate Judge, Kings County
Monique Chandler-Waterman City Council, District 45
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (2020) U.S. House, State of New York, District 14

And ….  it’s worse State wide. That’s why we were here today, to focus on the de Blasio free speech assault. But, finding the Mayor de Blasio protest was a challenge. After a 30 minute search, I located some activity, but it was a Trump 2020 rally.

DSC_7412.jpg Not what was promoted. Not what I came for.  As I headed back up town, I found one “We Won’t Pay” protestor, Karen from Yad Yamin. On Message!

Mayor de Blasio “We Won’t Pay” was a great idea for a protest since the socialist machine intends to remake our governments, local and national. Venezuela. Cuba. Fighting back, even locally, is very important. I’m here for you, President Trump, but today was supposed to be about Mayor de Blasio’s socialist harassment and fines against free speech. Maybe next time.

FREE SPEECH threatened by Mayor Bill de Blasio.
We Must Fight back …
STOP Mayor de Blasio and his assault on Free Speech!

Chinatown Displacement, Armenian Genocide and Falun Dafa Persecution

NYC – it never sleeps – particularly when it comes to protests and rallies, a restless hot-bed of activism. Three events came up recently that dealt with the egregious treatment of minorities in NYC and the world at large, some with deathly consequences. When and how to we fight back against tyranny? Will tolerance keep the peace?

First up, a the displacement of minorities that comes from within the very Leftward government that runs NYC: not genocidal, but racist and profit motivated. The merits of which are constantly being challenged by this consortium.

April 26, 2017. 3:30 pm. The LES (Lower East Side) consortium  of Leftists, Socialists and Communists were protesting real estate displacement and demanding the resignation of Comrades deBlasio and Chin.

Protest after protest Mayor “Red Bill”  and Council Member, Margaret Chin have ignored their demands. Amid cries of racism, the residents feel there is no place for them in the deBlasio/Chin LES. And they might be correct.

Media Advisory says: “Chin – launched her own limited rezoning for Chinatown – excluding Latins, Blacks and other Asians from land use protections; destroying our communities; pitting Asian Americans, Blacks and Latinos against each other.” [Video]

Who is right. wrong. Old buildings eventually come down. Is it necessary to eliminate the status quo? Is it inconvenient for them to remain in their communities?

Chinatown, LES, & Lower Manhattan residents and workers protest CM Margaret Chin’s divisive and destructive rezoning and land use policies.

The LES Community demands that Chin and Mayor “Red Bill ‘ de Blasio  step down. Guilty of collusion with real estate developers and their racist policies, leading to the potential destruction of Chinatown, Lower East Side and Lower Manhattan.

Which takes me next to the Armenian Genocide Commemoration.

For the 100 year anniversary in 2015 there was a much larger gathering. But, large or small, each year’s meme is the same: NEVER FORGET.

The Muslim Turkish Government’s attempt to wipe the Armenian people off the planet was genocide and Hitler admired what the Turks nearly accomplished. This was his template used against the Jews of Europe – his Final Solution – GENOCIDE.

… millions of people around the world will mourn the implementation of a plan—devised by Ottoman officials a hundred years ago, amid the chaos of the First World War—to annihilate the Armenian people in their native homeland. Initiated in 1915, the policy was brutally effective; by the war’s end, it had resulted in the destruction of virtually every Armenian community outside Constantinople, and the elimination of more than a million people from territory in what is now modern Turkey. This is what is meant by the term “Armenian genocide.” [The New Yorker]

Flickr slideshow Armenian Commemoration

10090_5184_ArmGenocideTimesSq

Sen. Chuck Schumer spoke, as he seems to do every year, addressing the collective Armenian trauma and Turkey’s refusal to acknowledge the sins of their fathers.

… For many Armenians living around the world, in a state of post-Ottoman diaspora, that trauma has been compounded by the lack of official recognition and reconciliation. To this day, the Turkish state denies that a systematic annihilation ever occurred (by the name of genocide, or any other). And Armenians continue to struggle with the official negation: to endlessly combat it is its own form of prison, but to try moving past it unilaterally, abandoning the horrific events of 1915 in the shadows of denial, is to succumb to willful blindness and injustice … [The New Yorker]

Which brings me to my final entry: the 25th Anniversary of world acceptance of  Falun Dafa, accepted by all EXCEPT CHINA. May 12 , 2017  was WORLD Falun Dafa Day  [Video]

I happened upon their parade at 42nd st and 10th ave. Colorful. Joyful. Impressive. Banner after banner. They really are world-wide.

Their message: Falun Dafa Good.  A peaceful meditation that CHINA has decided is so EVIL that Falun Dafa practitioners must be eradicated. (Genocide)

This was a long parade. Never did see the end of it. Saw banner after banner representing countries around the world where Falun Dafa are accepted (but not in China). In China they are still harassed. imprisoned. murdered.

It seemed the NYPD was redirecting the parade away from the Chinese Consulate on 12th avenue.  Odd since the Tibetans protest there regularly. Whatever, the Falun Dafa marched toward the Consulate in celebration and protest.

Flickr slideshow :

IMG_7462 copy

The LES Chinatown real estate situation is obviously not the Armenian and Falun Dafa genocides. But, the tyranny of government can go easily from real estate adventure, to eminent domain, to removing a whole people, leading to genocidal consequences.

Every time the free-world attempts to protect itself from the One-World Islamic anschluss of terrorism and domination we are badgered with cries of racism. xenophobia or even more ridiculously: Nazi. Who is right?  Who decides. Who wins?

Hitler. Stalin. China. Turkey. Geographically specific horrors. But, Islamic domination and genocide is a world-wide horror. It’s here. It’s now. So as the city that never sleep plods on with parades, protests and rallies one phrase rings true: NEVER FORGET. (Never give in) Brave words to live by … or die.

MLK Day protest demands racist RED BILL de Blasio Step down

UPDATE Feb 24, 2017- Poor “Wilhelm Jr”. Things just keep getting more and more complicated: U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara’s office to grill Mayor de Blasio over fund-raising probe.

January 16, 2017. 3:30 pm Outside NY City Hall . A Protest/Rally was led by a Coalition to Protect Chinatown and LES (the Lower East Side) on Martin Luther King Federal Holiday as they demanded racist Mayor Bill de Blasio STEP DOWN.

Seems the Commies at “Citywide Alliance Against Displacement” no longer like their Commie Mayor (go figure)

For the truth about Comrade deBlasio –  ignored by the media – see America’s Survival Inc pre election expose- HERE

The Citywide Alliance Against Displacement demanded Mayor RED BILL step down because he was guilty ( the say) of promoting racist rezoning plans that targeted communities of color.

PEOPLE FIRST! was their Battle Cry from in front of the “People’s House” aka NY City Hall img_5473This was the list of speakers…not sure they all actually spoke…. A few highlights are on the video playlist:

Many of the speakers (faithful followers of the Communist Party Line) said they came to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr.‘s legacy of fighting against racial and economic injustice. (sure. they . were)

IMG_5443

The Alliance said it chose MLK Jr day  to “reclaim it- this day” from politicians like Mayor RED BILL ….

They claim de Blasio (somehow) uses this holiday to cover up his racist policies  (no examples were given of HOW he does this) .

Scroll through Press Release

The Citywide Alliance Against Displacement presented their list of  demands:

1. End racism in city planning. Pass community-based “People First” plans like the Chinatown Working Group rezoning plan.

2. End public funding for luxury development, such as 421-a. Instead, use public resources to preserve and build more permanent low-income housing.

3. Stop privatization of public land and assets.

4. Mayor DeBlasio and those in City Council who also collude with developers to step down.

BUT …. where was Red Bill? They said heawas at a church – St Marys Episcopal – in Brooklyn.  The protestors claimed that de Blasio was also using this Federal Holiday to urge New Yorkers to join him at a Midtown rally on Thursday January 19th (promoted by moveon.org

15966227_10154068028530493_7955207838447615676_n

De Blasio took to Twitter to urge New Yorkers who have concern’s about Trump’s stances on immigration, climate change, healthcare and policing to come to the rally. This is a big celebrity event planned for Thursday at 6 pm (Columbus Circle- Trump Tower)

Whatever. The rally was really about housing. and rezoning. Scroll through  re zoning brochure info

They claimed that de Blasio  helped perpetuated New York City’s legacy of racism and displacement by encouraging luxury developments in communities of color. A real de Blasio hate-fest.

In Harlem, Williamsburg, Lower East Side and Chinatown, they said, communities are destroyed, tenants face evictions, small businesses closed and jobs  lost due to high-rent and real estate tax increases in these neighborhoods.

Despite overwhelming community opposition to his plan (over 90% of community boards throughout the city rejected Mayor DeBlasio’s citywide rezoning policies) they said that de Blasio refuses to pass community-led rezoning plans like the Chinatown Working Group rezoning plan that would protect all of Chinatown and Lower East Side,

Scroll through  Harlem Zoning release

The Citywide Alliance Against Displacement feels the MLK Jr’s legacy of Civil Rights should be one of ordinary people standing against injustice and racism and the investigations of de Blasio’s administration has apparently revealed a preference for developers who would displace The People.

NYIC Illegal Immigrant Equality Advocates Announce 2015 Goals (vids-pics)

NYIC- The New York Immigration Coalition – advocates for illegal trespassers, announced on January 5, 2015, outside NY City Hall, that their first priority was to push passage of the New York State DREAM Act.

Screen shot 2 cropFree Education. Free Health Care. FREE citizenship – no waiting in line- Lots of perks for breaking our Immigration Laws.

NY-ICE was also there on this blustery, very cold day. Illegals are Illegals and should be deported. Our laws enforced.

There were a couple of reporters who took the time interview the oppositon. DSC_8854 copy

.

.
But, the main reason we were there was to the hear the NYIC speakers promoting Illegal Immigration aka Trespassing and their predictable and offensive reasons why our Immigration Laws are to be ignored and no longer enforced.

Screen shot crop“Education shouldn’t be a privilege, it’s a right for all students,” said Linda Sarsour, executive director of the Arab American Association of New York. She claims that “Last year, an unprecedented number of child refugees from Central America crossed the border into the United States, many of them fleeing gang violence in their home countries.

Steve Choi, Executive Director of NYIC, was joined by State Senator Liz Krueger ( 28th District), Grace Shim, Exec Dir of MinKwon were amongst a few others who spoke and are posted in the videos at the end of this article.DSC_8841 copy“Passage of the Dream Act, along with other assistance, would “support and empower the immigrant families and communities that want to add their contribution to the mosaic that is New York state,” said  Choi. “We can do that this year.”

Camille Mackler , director of legal initiatives for NYIC, is a legal advisor who helps illegals get around our immigration laws. She informs us that, ” Of the over 56,000 children who were able to find U.S. sponsors, 6,277 were released to sponsors in New York State, according to the latest statistics collected by the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement. That makes New York the state with the second highest number of unaccompanied minors, behind Texas.”

Disturbing statistics….

“Advocates will lobby for more money to support local school districts that provide these children with education—especially in Long Island and Westchester County, where resources for immigrants are scarce.”

“They also want to ensure that the children get legal representation during deportation hearings, and access to mental health services to help them recover from the trauma of their past experiences.”

“Once we have paid for their mental health care and legal aide” Camille Mackler insists these illegals – these children (as she repeated over and over) will “will grow up and they will lead our stock exchanges, they will walk in the halls of our capitals in Albany and Washington D.C. and they will be our next great musicians and great actors.”

Also, speaking to the reporters was Valeria Treves – Executive Director New Immigrant Executive Community Empowerment (NICE)
DSC_8846 copyTreves read the list of “other goals advocates hope to achieve: providing drivers’ licenses to all New York residents, regardless of status; passing a farm workers’ bill of rights that guarantees the right to overtime pay, fair wages and collective bargaining; and introducing legislation to limit collaboration between local law enforcement and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), the federal agency in charge of deportations.

FYI: the city recently passed a bill that prohibits ICE from detaining illegal immigrants without a federal judge’s warrant, no such bill exists at the state level.

From TSM: None if this is new information. We hear these same goals from NYIC year after year. And since they appeared to be speaking to their own media-friendly cameras (mostly Spanish stations and Asian reporters) perhaps this press conference won’t have much of an impact.

DSC_8858 copyEven so, the possibility that this DREAM could deliver all of these freebees, is creeping forward, nurtured by Obama and his fellow travelers, including the current Mayor of NYC, Red Bill DeBlasio and his partner-in-crime, Melissa Mark-Viverito, NY City Council Speaker. The NY City Council is there to HELP the illegals. NYC- a Sanctuary City where Illegals are Welcomed.

The only good immigration laws in America are NO Immigration Laws … for the citizens of South and Central America, that is.
